Hi!Hopefully a small problem:After opening a PDF file (~7MB) the Reader DC Pro freezes for 20-30 seconds. And after this time I can use it as always.Any ideas? GreetingsSebastian

Hi, there appears to be a problem with the latest update.  I print documents that have mixed page sizes (letter and legal).  My printers have two paper trays and normally when I select "Choose paper source by page size" it will automatically print the correct page size.  It appears that since the new update reader is not recognizing page sizes and printing everything on letter size.  I have confirmed that other people in my line of work are having the same issue starting today as well.

I have a PDF file which includes hidden text. When you mouseover an area on the left side of the page, the text is revealed. On the Windows Acrobat Reader, this works as expected. On my Chromebook, I installed the Adobe Acrobat Reader app (from the Google Play store). I can read the PDF file, but when I mouseover the left side of the page the hidden text is not revealed. Is this feature not available in the Google Play app? Is there any way I can view the hidden text on my Chromebook? Many thanks.

Hello, What's the best software to extract objects from a given pdf? I assume that each object can be a pgn file. This is because one can rearrange the objects into a new pdf to obtain a better pdf for marketing reasons.  Thank you, Lou

Hi, my macbookpro is (13-inch, 2019) 10.15.3 Catalina. Whenever I use chrome (watching videos) and adobe (editing with stickers/ highlighting) together, my mac gets very hot and the fan gets really loud. I have nothing but just chrome and adobe running, I also use my fan to ensure the ventilation is good by facing it to my mac to cool it down, but it doesn't seem to work. Are they compatible? Is this normal? Please watch the two videos I attached. Thanks. 

Hello allFirst post so forgive the 'newb' if it's in the wrong place or 'dumb'.I am admin in a Facebook Group who deal with Papercrafting. A lot of our materials come to print at home, predominatly on USB, (although I am aware this is affecting data on 'c' drive as well) A large percentage of our members are experiencing a recent, (since late Dec2020), issue where Adobe is throwing an error, (see below). This is happening on Win 10, Win8 and 7. Personally I cannot recreate it, but after advising members to uninstall, reinstall the latest version, the majority have the issue solved. However a percentage are still experiencing it, wheras they can use alternative pdf readers without issue, and open the affected files without error. I have tried the media on different PC's and have no problems, so in my mind this implies that its a Windows or DC issue.Is this a Miscrosoft/Adobe issue that needs looked at please. If so has the issue been reported more recently than the other posts on the fo

As title says, we have alot of PDFs which are generated by our billing app and they randomly dont render properly, but they work in every other posibble PDF viewer app, or browsers like Chrome 100% correct every time. This was tesetd on over 30 diffferent, and completly fresh installed Windows10/Acrobat reader , same issue. I attached the example file, try opening it in Adobe or Chreom you will see

Hi all, I am currently using the free version of Reader to edit documents, but when I try to export into a Word format it tells me the package is not available in my country. I have recently moved from the UK to Cayman but I can still use the free reader. Any suggestions?

I usually read a document in four passes - one to get a global understanding, then deeper reading  - almost like I am conversing with the author, creating and follow up on action items (searching for more items, applying what I have learned, etc.) and finally reconciling with other references on the same topic I happen to read in the future.  I want an easy way to keep track of all of this. Ideally, I envision a separate status bar for each of the phases described above. Perhaps four horizontal bars each shaded for regions where I have already done the reading. From my side, when I open a pdf, I will specify which of the above four activities I am doing and also specify that I am done with a particular page. Ultimately, I want to be able to have a snapshot of where I stand with each of the documents I am reading so it's easy to just pickup. 

Help...Why is it every time I open something it saves it to my desktop? It saves it then opens it the regular way...How can I stop this? My desktop is getting full of stuff I don't want to keep. Thanks for any help you can supply me with.

After upgrading from 20.013.20074 to 21.001.20135 the Adobe Acrobat Reader reported no match when searching for text that did exist. This behavior persists now after upgrading to 21.001.20138. This is shown in attached image with \Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Acrobat Reader DC\Reader\Welcome.pdf. Is this a known issue?Any suggestions on how to correct? Thank you!  

Hello, since i've installed the Adobe Acrobat Pro the Quickprint-Function doesn't work any more.The Standard-program for pdf is still Adobe Reader DC and it works fine when you open pdf's. When i now try to quickprint the pdf (from Outlook or directly the pdf) it opens in the Adobe Acrobat Pro in the background even it isn't the standard.But i really need the Adobe Reader to be Standard due to Restrictions on my Terminalserver for several users to use Adobe Acrobat Pro. I tried to reinstall the Adobe Reader, looked for registry-settings espacially for printing (couldn't find any) and i don't get a clue what else i can do.Adobe Reader Version is 2021.001.20138 and Acrobat Version is 2020.001.30020 used on a Windows Server 2016. Thank you

An error message is incorrectly displayed and associated with a valid digital signature.   A follow-up update to Reader DC Feb 2021 release for Windows & Mac 21.001.20140 Optional update, Feb 22, 2021, is available which addresses the "An error message is incorrectly displayed and associated with a valid digital signature." bug fixe that have been reported in the Feb 09, 2021 release.   This hotfix patch is applicable for Reader DC Continuous track.   Adobe recommends installing and updating Acrobat and Reader DC for Windows and Mac to the latest version 21.001.20140, as quickly as possible. Install the update from the help menu of Acrobat Reader> select check for updates. Reboot the machine after installing the updates. For detailed information about the latest update, please refer to the Release notes.

Hello,I have a PDF with digital signatures that was signed with DocuSign. I can validate the signed document and everything looks good when I use https://validator.docusign.com/ However when I open the document with Acrobat Reader DC the signature validation does not succeed, and I'm wondering why. Under the signature I see the following: "Signature is invalid: There are errors in the formatting of information contained in this signature". When I click on validate signature I get the following error message: "Error during signature verification. Error encountered while validating: Internal cryptographic library error. Error Code: 0x2711".Any ideas on how to investigate the exact cause for the error?Thanks.HB

I have a Win 10 Tablet and would like to use my S Pen to take notes in a journal I purchased that opens in Adobe Reader Touch.  Can someone help me figure out how I can do that?  The S Pen currently is a "pointer" and I am unable to "write" to the document. Thanks in advance.

Every time I boot/restart my laptop (running Win 10 Pro, latest version), Adobe Reader starts with the same file.  Here's what I have tried:I went into the regsitry and removed every reference to that file.I removed every copy of the file from the file system.  The only copy remaining is stored in my Outlook .PST file, so it's not visible to the file system.I uninstalled/reinstalled the Reader.Thinking that Creative Cloud might be triggering it at boot time, I stopped CC from loading.I simply tried simply closing the file while in the Reader.I went into the Adobe Cloud and removed every file. I am at a loss as to what to try next.  Does anybody have a suggestion as to what I might try next? --Ernie

I have a problem that the added text comment became grey when I finished editing them.When I pressed on the text, the text are in black. However, when I finished editing the text, they automatically turned into grey. I think it may be related to the transparency issue but I don't know how to set the transparency of text.This problem doesn't show when I use the text comment with a box.

I used three different programs to view & print a PDF formWhen I hover a form field the correct info shows. When I move onto the next field, I get Greek and foreign characters. When I print I get the same slop. Why?

Need help again. I use Adobe Acrobat Reader XI, because it works perfectly for me and still works when I switched to Windows 10. However, starting yesterday Acrobat Reader started shaking whenever I opened it. I tried to install Adobe Acrobat Reader DC, but it had the same problem. Please help me out!I don't know how to record a video on my laptop, as I don't have a phone, so I can't show anything.

What is the problem? Any Idea?
