Acrobat Reader

A couple of months ago, I was able to open a pdf on Google Chrome without having to save it. Now for some reason, my settings have changed and it asks me to save the document first before opening it. I am forever saving pdfs to my desktop to view a pdf then deleting the pdf afterwards. How do i just open the pdf without saving it. Please note, I have tried doing the same thing on Internet Explorer and it does not ask me to save, it automatically opens. So, how can i do this on chrome? Also, I have tried going into the settings and turning off Download PDF files instead of automatically opening them in Chrome and it does not work still. Please help.

ISSUE: AUSST 6.3.0.1 silently fails to generate webfeed manifest (updaterfeed.xml) due to AcroAUSST sub-tool returning error 9 on a 404 from Adobe's CDN.ENVIRONMENT:- AUSST version: 6.3.0.1 (also reproduced on 6.2.0.3)- OS: Windows Server 2019- Web server: IIS- Storage: D:\inetpub\wwwroot\updatesROOT CAUSE:AcroAUSST attempts to download:https://ardownload3.adobe.com/pub/adobe/acrobat/win/AcrobatClassic/2400130365/AcroRdrClassicx64Upd2400130365_MUI.mspThis URL returns HTTP 404 (verified via Invoke-WebRequest from the AUSST server). AcroAUSST returns error code 9. The parent AdobeUpdateServerSetupTool then reports exit code 0, masking the failure. Webfeed manifest generation does not occur. IMPACT:- AUSST server cannot serve updates to clients- All clients receive error 113- Affects all AUSST deployments syncing current Acrobat updates- No documented workaroundREQUESTED ACTION:1. Restore the missing file at the URL above, OR2. Remove the broken reference from the AcroAUSST manifest, OR3.

Hi,I've added comments to a document. These can be comment boxes, lines, stamps, or drawings.Now I want to delete them. I can delete the comment boxes, but not the other comments. In other words, I can delete them, but they reappear after a few seconds. It doesn't matter whether I use the “Delete” option in the sidebar or the keyboard shortcuts.Does anyone else have this problem and know how to fix it?

I was printing using Adobe Acrobat’s “Poster” mode when my print was interrupted and canceled. I cannot recover from where it was and only have enough paper for the final two pages, but it won’t let me select the final two pages, instead trying to print all 15 again.Is there any way to choose the pages under “Pages to Print”? I’ve looked through every forum and video and haven’t found an answer. 

Hi everyone,I recently switched from Windows to macOS. Everything worked perfectly on Windows, but I am now having issues printing multiple booklets on my Mac.If I just print a single booklet, it works fine. However, if I try to print multiple booklets (e.g., 2 booklets at the same time), I run into the following problems: If I select "Collate", the pages are printed in the correct order, but they all come out bound together as one giant booklet. If I deselect "Collate", they come out as two separate booklets, but the pages are in the wrong order. On Windows, I could untick "Collate" in the Acrobat interface but tick "Collate" in the Printer Properties, and it would work perfectly. But on macOS, both "Collate" settings seem linked—I can only tick or untick both at the same time.Can someone tell me how to fix this?Printer: Fujifilm C4570 

In my workplace we use adobe sign for out contracts, however IT creates our Adobe accounts because we need approval from higher ups for paid software. I was never given a permission password to use and I'm unsure if I can have a new one created through Adobe? 

I have a document on pdf  that was sent to me, but the person who sent it doesn't have the password, and I need to unlock it in order to edit it. Could you please tell me how I can do that?

Acrobat Reader will not load on my computer a desktop. I have unintalled it and installed it again. It has worked for years now it won't load.

Hi everybody! i cant fix this problem. Imagine you have a single page in Adobe Reader, and you want to print the same single page twice in one sheet of paper (one next to the other) does anybody know how to do it?   thanks in advance

i want to have only the menubar visible when i open a pdf. these are mostely newly made pdf's so restore views doesn't work. I want to make this setting for all the pdf's i open. I primairly want to look at pdf's. If i want to do more then i can go through the menubar to find what i want

Hello everyone.Windows 11. When I open PDFs containing annotations by double-click on it, Acrobat Reader window opens for a short while and disappears. This happens when I have new interface enabled. No problem with new look disabled.What is wrong with the file?

When hovering images it generates a description. This is almost always non-informative. Like: “picture containing text and font”. How do I turn this off globally? Thanks

Good morning, i am trying to pen a pdf (an invoice) using Adobe Acrobat Reader and i get the following:opening the file in a different computer usign Adobe Acrobat Reader i can open it correctly. Even when the file probably doesn´t have the correct fonts attached, does anybody know what needs to be done in the first computer/program to open the file correctly as font is Arial. Thanks in advance. Hi All, Have a bit of a weid one, I have experineced this multiple times with different printers, (All Fuji tho). I try print a PDF from Adobe Acrobat and it will fail at the printer. The most recent error I have gotten on the printer is Error (016-799) where looking up the code it tells me "The specified print parameter is abnormal"The odd part is if I take the same file and print from chrome or edge it will print just fine. No printer settings have been changed.This makes me belive that something in Acrobat is being added that the printer can not handel, but it doesnt happen to all jobs.Any ideas?

Has anyone had this issue?We have a WebDAV editing capability, so users can “one click” edit a PDF from the browser.For some reason, the first time they click to edit (first time since restarting their PC) Adobe Reader shows an Access Denied message.If the user then closes Adobe and clicks edit again, the second edit always works.This is consistently happening. This is broken again in the latest version of Adobe Reader.  We have a lot of users reporting that QuickPrint in Outlook Classic is opening Adobe Reader and not closing it.  Then when they try to open another PDF it will not open.  Please get this fixed.

I have a customer that's on Adobe Acrobat Reader 2019.012.20040, with Windows 10 Pro x64 Version 1809, and when he tries to open a certain document, he gets the following error: "Cannot find or create the font 'ArialMT'. Some characters may not display or print correctly."So far, the user has uninstalled and reinstalled Adobe Acrobat Reader, his computer was wiped and re-imaged with a new Windows 10 baseline, we've added the ArialMT TrueType font file to Windows 10, and he's installed the DC Font Pack (my suggestion): Adobe Acrobat Reader DC Font Pack (Continuous) - For Acrobat Reader DC version 19.x But he's still getting the error.  Are there any suggestions as to resolve his issue?  Thanks.

When I attmpt to print a PDF document it only prints first page,   when all pages are selected.  I tried to ust the print certain pages, and it only prints the first page listed.  If i want to print the whole document, i have to select each page individually.  tThis is happening no matter how i try to print it or where from.  I have tried redownloading the document, but that does not help. 

Hello, I am managing Citrix environment for one of my customers and currently I have a following problem: If there is a UNC hyperlink in pdf file, Adobe reader open it automatically in MS Edge instead of File Explorer in windows server 2022 terminal server. I do not think this issue is related to OS settings, because If I create word document, It is open in File explorer automatically, only adobe reader open it in MS edge and I do not know how to change it. I tried multiple versions of adobe reader (currently there 2 weeks old version) and from some time It is acting like this, I think It started 5 weeks ago. Can you please help me to solve this issue? Thank you. Jan

One of my users has a printing problem: Very first time printing after opening Acrobat Reader, print window defaults to 11 copies. If she exits print then immediately prints again, copies is set to 1, until she closes Acrobat Reader. Doesn’t matter if she opens Acrobat then a PDF, or opens PDF which causes Reader to open. This happened with at least five different PDF files generated from different sources.If she opens a PDF while holding <Shift>+<Ctrl>, the print defaults to 1 copy… until she closes Acrobat.She should not have to hold <Shift>+<Ctrl> every time she wants to open Acrobat or a PDF, especially since at least one process she does automatically generates and opens a PDF.Anyone know how to get the FIRST print to stop defaulting to 11 copies?

When opening from a PDF Adobe stays open and I need to manually close it each time, annoying when you have loads to print! Can anyone help please? 

Hi everyone, so I am trying to print my .pdf file in color, but it only prints out in black & white, even though it's in color on the screen itself.I made the .PDF in word and then converted it to a .PDF .. Could it be some word settings?I can print out other .pdf files normally in color, so it shouldn't be the printer settings. Everything is up to date, driver etc.What should I do?
