Acrobat Reader

Yes, I looked in the previous questions and there is no workaround provided even though Adobe marked the question as answered. I need to fill out the W-9 and the date section is not fillable. When I sign all it adds is my signature without a date and there does not seem to be any "Type" tool that will allow me to add a date to the date section. So how do I get a date on there? This is ridiculous. Ive now spent 30 minutes trying to add a date to the damn form supplied by the IRS. WHY? WHY? WHY? Can someone at least suggest some other software that will allow me to fill, sign and DATE the forms supplied by IRS?

Hi everyone, I’m facing an issue while installing older versions of Adobe Acrobat Reader / Adobe Acrobat Reader DC. Whenever I install an older version of Acrobat Reader, the installed application appears in Control Panel → Programs and Features as: Adobe Acrobat (64-bit)I was expecting it to be identified as Adobe Acrobat Reader or Adobe Acrobat Reader DC.This is causing problems with our patching process for Adobe Acrobat Reader, because the installed product is being detected/identified as Adobe Acrobat (64-bit) instead of Reader.My questions are:Is it expected behavior for an older version of Adobe Acrobat Reader/Reader DC to appear as Adobe Acrobat (64-bit) in Control Panel? What determines the product name displayed in Programs and Features—MSI product code, registry entries, or something else? Hey all,I am filling a PDF using Arabic alphabets. it seems fine while I am printing them, as Shown:But when I save the file, then open it, the Arabic alphabets characters I printed on the file is shown as separated characters !  I updated the software, and restarted my PC but the problem still occurs.I am using Windows 7 Professional - 64 bit  OS.Thanks in advanced,Aziz

I am so shocked and frustrated with the AWFUL new look of the Acrobat Reader. I just want the previous version back onto my computer. How can I do that? I HATE these terrible changes that have slowed down my productivity lately, and I honestly do not care to learn this awful new version. I need HELP urgently! And here is my promise: I will NOT renew my Adobe subscription until you clearly allow us to choose which version we want to use.

I tried online suggestions for clearing files in DC folder but I could not find the files that it suggested I clear.  Very frustrating.

I have read through so many posts and discussions to figure out how to use the poster function within Adobe Acrobat Reader.  I have also tried using the free trial to see if it is now just for paid subscribers.  The paid version shows the poster options but still prints on one page.  I have the most updated Adobe Reader version. HELP!

I have received a PDF file as an attachment to an email and can open and view and print it from within the email but when I save the file to my computer and then try to open the file I get an error message saying that CIDFont+F1 cannot be created or found.  The file opens but the text is just displayed as a series of dots. I have confirmed that I am using the most current version of Adobe Reader. Any advice on what the problem might be and how to resolve would be appreciated.

Problemas com win11 e adobe v26.0001, o programa simplesmente trava na hora de abrir a janela para assinatura digital ou quando é selecionado para assinatura com certificado digital, não aparece os menus do lado esquerdo ao selecionar alguma das opções, as notificações não aparecem, isso aconteceu recentemente, desistalei a ultima atualização do Windows e refiz a instalação do adobe, mais sem sucesso, problema aconteceu recentemente pois uso o assinador com frequencia.

Hi, i have a few pdf files that i sent for digital signing, however, the digital signature does not show after i download the document. My adobe is Adobe Acrobat Reader DC version 2019.008.20081.46137. When i open the document with my google chrome browser or open with other pdf reader(s) the digital signature becomes visible.

I created a form using Excel and Adobe Acrobat Pro. There are two form fields that, when the form is saved (whether it is signed or not), clear of any data. I am attaching the form. The fields that won’t keep responses in them are BIA Region and State. I have looked through the other fields and can’t find a difference between these two fields and other dropdown fields. The only difference I am wondering about is that these two fields have a lot of options in the dropdown, but it doesn’t seem like that should make them not work. This was flagged by a user, and I’m not sure what program they use to complete the form, but I had the same issue in my own Adobe Acrobat Pro, which is the program I created the form in.Based on other comments I’ve seen online, I looked at the Page Properties for any actions that might be causing this, but don’t see any. I have Acrobat with Creative cloud pro, Windows 10, and for weeks it's not been opening properly.I read other solutions and tried uninstalling and installing from new, disabling cloud and security options, but the only thing that seems to work is going to the Task manager and deleteing Acrobat instances that pile up.This is not a solution, it’s a bad workaround. Please help me with this problem. I hate having to change my preferences every time I install, especially getting rid of the “new” Acrobat interface.

I always like to view documents one full page at a time.  Is it possible to set  "fit one full page to window" as the default view?

Hi, I am a IT guy, when I configure a new computer for user i go to the official Adobe page "https://get.adobe.com/uk/reader/ " and download Adobe Acrobat Reader DCand now is my question. Do I need license for this product because on this side "Volume distribution | Adobe Acrobat Reader DC "  we can read if I want distribute Adobe software for my own  side or local network i need license but lower we can read "You do not need to apply for a Reader Distribution License if you prefer to direct users from your website to Adobe.com to download Reader." so if users download themselves from official side I don't need license.In my situation it's me install from official side on users computers. So i need license or not?

It doesn't work when the PDF is generated on the fly using parameters sent via POST. When the extension tries to fetch the PDF from the URL, it doesn't send the POST request. This is a very serious bug — many systems are breaking because of it, and people are uninstalling the extension. There's going to be a significant wave of uninstalls in the coming months if this isn't fixed.

Im tagging a document, and when i run the checker, it says I have untagged content. However, the highlighted elements are page spaces. What do I do?
