I used to be able to email directly out of Adobe Acrobat Reader when I had Windows 7 and Outlook 2010. I completed a systems upgrade not long ago to Windows 10 and Outlook 2016. Now when I go to email a PDF out of Acrobat Reader (Version 2019.010.20099), I see under "Send as Attachment", Default email application (unknown). I have Outlook 2016 set as my default Mail client under Default Apps.I have also tried to uninstall and reinstall Adobe Acrobat Reader but that didn't help. Also, when I go to Preferences within Adobe Acrobat Reader, where I used to see Default Email Application (Outlook 2010), all it says is Default Email Application; it does not indicate a specific application. Please help! Thanks!
I have an end-user who can e-sign any document that is created by us, there are no issues. As soon as she and her co-worker recieve a PDF to sign from external companies the option is greyed out. They have had multiple documents come from external parties that would not allow them to e-sign on. I checked the security settings for the PDF's and they were marked as being ALLOWED to sign. I've tried updating the application. I've tried to remove the application and install/update again. I've also tried to use tools such as Revo Uninstaller which help delete files/folders/registery keys left behind after an uninstall and removed those items, as well. This still would not work for the e-sign capabilities. Again, other documents are fine to sign. I suggested to the end-user that it could be the way the sender is setting up the documents, but there haven't been any signs of the document properties showing this to be the case.
Hi,after a recent update of my PC to Win10 V.1909 and Acrobat Reader to v 2020.006.20034, the PDF files look over saturated. The sRGB file looks ok in Photoshop (it is an sRGB with embedded sRGB profile) Out of curiosity if I drag the pdf file to a Firefox or Chrome tab it looks perfectly ok (as ever) so I believe the problem should lie in Acrobat Reader. I thought that I could tweak some preferences but the old "Color management" settings under "Preferences" are no longer available in the new version so I'm stuck. Is anyone experiencing this ?

Thanks for making an already great PDF reading tool worse. 1. Why remove the title bar? On the desktop, it provided a handle so you can move the window around. Now, it's replaced with tabs. If you have a lot of tabs open (like I do, because I cross-reference documents), you literally have to search for empty space in the title bar just to move the window around.2. Why put the Bookmarks bar with the Comments? Bookmarks use to be on the left. Comments tool use to be on the right. I could quickly navigate to a PDF section and drop notes. Now it's merged so that you can only use either one at any point in time. Asinine changes by designers who think the GUI should be consolidated.
Hi all, I noticed when I type Chinese characters in my PDF form here in Acrobat Reader, it did not appear properly, as seen here. I understand by reading some posts here that there are font packs that can solve the problem. However, it did not help me, but it can appear in Acrobat Pro. Is there a way to solve this for Acrobat Reader?
I'm trying to find a solution to set up Adobe Reader as the default PDF viewer for all users who log in to a computer. Currently, this option in Windows 10 is set to user-specific where every user needs to change their default PDF viewer. Please advise. Thanks

I've PDFs in Adobe cloud stroage. I'm able to read just find on multiple devices (logged in w/ the same Adobe ID)... however, the page position doesn't update/sync across devices. I found a couple of posts indicating that this used to work, and Adobe indicating it's a current problem (from a year or so ago)... does anyone know if this has been fixed, and if/how to enable it if it is functional?

We currently use Adobe Acrobat and have been having problems for months with slow response and opening. It is truly hindering our work production and my attorneys are becoming increasingly frustrated. I have been on these boards time and time again and have tried many of what are deemed "fixes" for it to work for a short time, and within a week or two to revert right back to the slow response. I have checked to ensure that the settings were not rechecked when an update was done. I have checked for updates almost daily in hopes a fix would be created. Does anyone have any long term solution for this problem? We pay A LOT of money for our licenses and to be this frustrated is really an issue. CLASS ACTION LAW SUIT should be started.
All my pictures .jpeg have been converted to PDFs and when I click on them I get the following error message: Adobe Reader could not open because it is either not a supported file or because the file has been damaged (example, it was sent as an email attachment & wasn't coded correctly.)I am trying to open them from the File Explorer /pictures/ and the 'Type' column reads Adobe Acrobat. I have never changed any .jpegs into adobe. When I open Reader and look at Pic File Folder nothing shows up. This seemed to have happened some time in the last couple of weeks.I am using Win 8, all up to date , ASUS laptop, Chrome

I have the following error: when separating two tabs into windows, Acrobat Reader DC closes unexpectedly. This is happening on several computers. I have already removed the installation, installed a new offline version, and the error still persists. The error seems to be in AcroRd32.dll. Has anyone else experienced this? I haven't been able to print fdf files for a few months. It happened after I tried to change my default printer to another printer and then switched it back. Something went loopy either on my Mac or with Acrobat Reader. I can print PDFs normally, but when when I try to print FDF files (one-time print coupons), it goes through the dialog process (confirming I want to print this file, etc.) but then nothing happens and I'm sent back to the Recent Files screen. These are coupons which only allow you to print once, so I never really get to "see" the file, but when I open them in Acrobat they prompt me to print. I've done this for years. I can also do this on other computers that I have. It's just this computer I am on (it's on Sonoma, and yes I have the latest Dec update). Normally, when I print fdf files, after I said OK to the print confirmation dialogue, it will cause the printer icon to show up and proceed to print. However, now, I

I need assistance with setting up the read-aloud featureI have already gone to the following link Accessibility features, Adobe Acrobat Reader DC and i was able to access the accessibility assistant but was unable to resolve the problem
When you working on multi-screen with lots of windows open, multi-tabbed Acrobat hides "Adobe Acrobat Reader has finished searching the document. No more matches were found." message somewhere and stop accepting any clicks... until you find the message and click "OK". Sometimes, I can't find it and need to kill the process. Do you have the same issue?
I have been charged for November and December 2024 the amount of 23.99 EUR. I never have subscribed for Adobe Pro, not even using a trial. Please cancel my subscription and reimburse me for the fees charged. This is absolutly unacceptable to be charged for something I have no idea how I am subscribed to and not using.
Maybe Adobe's Acrobat Reader team would be interested in this: Starting with Linux Fedora-29 and forward there have been some problems with installing Adobe's Acrobat Reader 9.5.5-1 using the Linux 'dnf' command with AdbeRdr9.5.5-1_i486linux_enu.rpm. The problems are described here: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1646701 http://www.deskdr.com/dr/adobe-reader-9-linux-ubuntu.html http://www.deskdr.com/dr/installing-adobe-reader-on-linux.html http://kofa.mmto.arizona.edu/computers/linux/fedora/f29_dnf_upgrade.html https://www.if-not-true-then-false.com/2010/install-adobe-acrobat-pdf-reader-on-fedora-centos-red-hat-rhel To address these problems I have reverse-engineered the installer so Adobe Acrobat Reader 9.5.5-1 can be successfully installed and run on Fedora-29 and forward. Is there a more cost effective set of edit tools for the PDF reader on personal accounts? You're aksing for AUD$28/month for access to the most basic set of tools. That equates to more than twice what I pay for my annual subscription to Microsoft Office full suite. There is a cost of living crisis in Australia, with everyone except billionaires and politicians struggling to keep up. I've been unemployed for six months and your ask is just too much. However, I really need to be able to convert pdf to Word to give myself the best opportunity to do a good job on my applications in an efficient and time effective way. All the position descriptions when downloaded are read only pdf., the online tools I use to set up my applications only read Word and I need to be able to use them. You are really limiting my ability to get work, which is hard enough as it is at 59. I just can't afford what you're asking and because I'm unemployed and this is for my personal account, none of it is tax deducti
So I've been trying the Fill and Sign option in Acrobat Pro DC. It asked me my name and created a handwritten image to place as my signature. Now I can't change it. I can't change the text, can't change it to an image, can't remove it. What if I changed my name, how would I change my signature?I have seen some posts from a few years ago saying click the '-' next to the signature. These are greyed out and do nothing when I click on them. I can't find anything in the settings. Does anyone know how to change a Fill & Sign signature?
