Hi, since I updated the app approximately 3 hours ago I can't open PDF attachments it opens the just snaps close
I have the same problem. I've owned two 2-in-1 laptops, a Lenovo Flex and Lenovo Yoga, both would redirect me to the adobe help page when I switched between laptop and tablet mode. On the yoga if I let the laptop screen turn off while I'm reading an article when I wake up the computer it will open the Adobe help web page, it's pretty annoying.
Adobe or some setting in the document appears to be blocking this PDF from opening.I have tried to save it and export it.
I‘ve recently started using this app on iOS 12.1. I select edit, create a text box, enter text, create another box, etc. At the end I select done. All the content is there. I navigate away to another app, come back to my pdf and it’s a gamble if any of the input text saved. Sometimes one field. Sometimes none. Since I‘m doing this inside a journaling PDF, this is beyond frustrating. At this point I can’t use or rely on the app. Any thoughts of what’s going wrong??
I subscribed to your service last month, in November of 2018, for the purposes of converting a MS Word document to a PDF. The Adobe app/service continually failed to convert my file to a PDF on my Android phone, so I cancelled the Adobe subscription a day later through the Google Pay Store. However, I never received a refund and was billed again this month for a Adobe subscription. Could you please refund the two $9.99 subscription charges for November and December, totalling $19.98?
so on we create ID cards on PC to print from a template, we just edit pdf, change the relevant text and replace the image with a new photo and print, template keeps everything neat and tidy. trying to move over to doing it on my iPad, BUT replace image isn’t there? I can replace text, import a new image but not replace? This is important as the template properly masks off the image, so an import wouldn’t work. Ive searched to no avail, but found other apps that can replace images, but feel loathed to buy a 3rd party app when the actual adobe app should surely do it?am I missing something obvious?
Hi,Few years ago, I created pdf forms for field activity reports with Acrobat Pro version 11.The field team is using it in the field from an Ipad, once completed and signed by the customer, it is sent for processsing. Some members of the team have allowed the ipad update from v16 to v18.Result (until we discover other issues): - The signature (with the finger on the Ipad display) does not work anymore.- Sending a flattened copy of the form via email does not work anymore (only the editable form can be sent)(The form is still Ok as I send it to my ipad and resend it as a flattened copy to our department email)Has anyone been faced to the same and has a nice fix for this ?Thanks in advance
Is there any way to retrieve a deleted pdf file from Adobe Acrobat Reader iPhone app?? The file was not uploaded on cloud and I can't find any trash or deleted files icon in the app
I used to be able to click the share button, then select share flattened copy. With the new update, I am no longer able to do this. Every copy I share is still editable.
It won’t let me email a flatterned document anymore after the new update
Hi Adobe Support Team,I noticed some issues with the latest Adobe Acrobat update:1. There's no option to send flattened copies.2. Can't edit file name3. Preview of the PDF if being forwarded via email is blank except for signaturesI am using an an iPad with iOS 11.4.1 version.Hope you can solve this issue soon as we use the app in our operations here at the airline.Thank you.
Leider kann ich seit dem Update keine reduzierte/vereinfachte Kopie mehr verschicken bzw. ich finde die Funktion nicht.
I cannot save an edited version of my PDFs to my own cloud storage, how do I do this? There used to be an option to save a flattened copy but this seems to have disappeared in the most recent update which is extremely frustrating! I have the iPad app and am running IOS version 11.4
Hi,I use the app on a daily basis and since the last two updates I can no longer send any of the documents in a flattened version so that they can’t be altered at the other end. I have also found that the latest versions no longer auto populate the subject of the email as it has previously. Can you please fix as I am sending legal documents on a daily basis.
Hello everyone, I am Patrick from Germany. I am using editable pdfs on my iPad and want to save them so that nobody can change them when i send them. Does anyone else have this issue? Thanks for your support and greetings from Germany.
After updating Adobe Reader today the PDF I am trying to email is longer 'Flattened' which prevents further editing of the PDF. Prior to todays update (12.10.2018) everything worked perfectly with the program requesting to send either as original or flattened the updated program no longer asks this question! Now the email recipient gets an editable version of PDF which I can't accept. Everything I've tried so far does not help. Any ideas anyone I'm getting desperate!!
In the previous version of the Adobe Acrobat app, on my iPad, I was able to "flatten" a PDF so that it became a read only file that could be sent to one of my customers. It would make it to where the fillable fields could not be altered once they received the file. Is this no longer allowed? It was very convenient and is now causing issues for our company. What can be done?
I have used the Acrobat app on my I pad for some time now. It has always given me an option to share or save a pdf in the flattened version but ever since the app has updated, it doesn’t look like its capable of saving a flattened document anymore. Is that correct?
After the latest update I cannot upload commented files any more from my Ipad to google drive. The comments vanish when I upload. It does not give me the "Share Original File" or "Share flattened copy" option.
The same issue occurs for Google Drive now (integrated support in Acrobat Reader).Acrobat 18.10.02iPad Mini 2 (ME280LL/A)iOS 12.1Also on,Acrobat 18.10.02iPhone 7+ (MNR12LL/A)iOS 12.1
Prior to the Adobe Reader update to 18.09.14 I had no issues viewing and working with folders and PDF files in Dropbox on Adobe Reader. On an iPhone 6s (iOS 12.0.1) with Adobe Reader (18.09.14) all Dropbox folders, and PDF, are visible. On an iPhone XS Max (iOS 12.0.1) with Adobe Reader (18.09.14) only half of the folders are visible from Adobe Reader. It appears that recently created folders (created in Dropbox on a pc) are not being displayed in the Adobe Reader app on the XS Max, but displayed on the iPhone 6s correctly.Adobe Reader and iOS are all up to date.
Hi thereI’ve added a Dropbox account to Locations in the Adobe Acrobat Reader app. Worked fine up to today. Now, when I select it, only one of the sub folders in the Dropbox location is visible, the rest aren’t. All apps are up to date. All accounts are logged into. Internet connectivity stable. Dropbox synced across all platforms and working fine on other platforms.I’ve tried viewing the document via the Dropbox and then selecting edit with Adobe Acrobat Reader. Also doesn’t work...Help!
Before the latest update, it was not exactly easy but it was at least manageable to click on the comment tools and then select the pen to begin marking up a document. The pen must be selected again for each subsequent markup. After the update it seems adobe has added a third step to accessing the comment tools, and now it is really cumbersome—three clicks to just get to the pen (or highlighter etc), which has to be done each time, for each comment. Is there some sort of non-obvious shortcut to access the last tool used? Without it, marking up pdfs using apple pen has become a complete aggravation.
Hello,I used the the following link HOW DO I START USING APPLE PENCIL ON IPAD PRO / ACROBAT? to see if I could freehand draw on my PDF and it doesn't give me the option to. Will this be updated?Thank you.
