Acrobat Reader Mobile

Reading many of the comments posted, I see I am not the only one who does not like the up date done to the Acrobat Reader. The previous version was simpler, straight forward and less complicated to use then this version. I thought when up dating it would be basic changes and fixes, instead it was a complete overhaul - and boy do I regret up dating! Bring back the previous version! I want the previous version! Very unhappy user!

All of us sudden I seem to be unable to highlight in documents that I was able to highlight in previously. Any suggestion?

I have created an interactive PDF using InDesign. But when opened on a mobile device in Acrobat Reader, the buttons simply highlight, but enact none of the actions assigned to them. Mostly moving from to bookmarked pages. I have build the same document for over five years now (it is for an annual event) and it has worked flawlessly until now. I even tested it a couple weeks back and it worked. The person at Adobe phone support said that the reader has been updated in the past few days. So that seems to be the issue. I have used Acrobat pro to create an "extended" PDF, but that did not solve the issue. My case # is ADB3918089F1W8. The manager at Adobe desktop support said that if I used the forum, some one from Adobe would help. I need help, urgently please. This is supposed to drop tomorrow (Oct 4).

I have been using adobe acrobat reader on my iPad for my report sheets as a mobile engineer for a couple of years.  It was so simple and easy to use but after this update I’m struggling to complete a sheet now. Not to savvy with computers etc but I can’t see how this is meant to be better. If I can’t restore to  the previous version then I’ll be looking at using a different program.

HiI'm hoping someone can help. I would like to be able to print pdfs from an android mobile app rather than my almost obsolete laptop but I don't seem to have any option to disable the automatic fit to page since it is vital for my printouts to be to an exact scale.I'm willing to buy an app rather than just the free version but I really do need this option. Is this something that is possible?Many thanks for any help

For several years I have been using Adobe Creative Cloud (the one that syncs files from your desktop) to access PDF files that have form filling on my iPad. This solution was hugely helpful for me and worked well except for brief moments where the servers were down.Within the last month, the connection to Adobe Creative Cloud, inside of the iPad Acrobat Reader, which is connected to my full Reader Pro subscription, CEASED to be available. What happened? Can I get that back in the iPad reader via some settings? Yes, I can use Adobe Creative Cloud iPad app to view of the files synced, but I can no longer directly edit the form filling on my iPad and have those edits automatically sync back to my desktop. This is the KEY feature that was why I used this setup as I frequently switch between the mobile and desktop environments working with these files.I have been trying to figure out a way to switch to Adobe Document Cloud for the same purpose. I have a 240 MB file that every time i select copy link so i can send the link to someone to view the file it takes very long time in the process and sometimes in the end makes a blank box... ? what is happening here?

Hi The Adobe Reader on my iPhone just auto-updated eariler when I would be reading a documen/book on reader and changed documents to read something else the page number would be auto saved when I would return to the documeant I could continue from the same pageafter the update I have lost this option and when I return to the document it starts from the beginning and I have to look for the page that I was reading earlier can anyone help me with this problem please?

Hi,My adobe forms no longer work in my ipad ever since the latest IOS update. When i try to type in the boxes the text types vertically from top to bottom in the same box or if it does type it won't auto adjust the font size to fit in the boxes. How can i possibly solve this as the people who haven't done the update have no issues. Please help.Thanks

This new update of Adobe Reader is not working properly. It’s not opening my files and constantly drive me out from program. I redownload the program but still the same problem occur.

Since the update, my interactive PDFs won't work (I click on them but only see a box outline). It works on my MBP using Acrobat Reader DC.It was working last night but not today. I turned my iPhone off/on and no change.I also can't get the blue circle and pencil to go away from the bottom of the screen.--fyi: I upgraded to iOS 12 thinking that would help, but it did not. The interactive PDF works on my phone using iBook (just not the updated Acrobat Reader)

I have lost all but a couple of my PDF’s after deleting and reinstalling Adobe reader.The newer version “locked up” so that is  the reason I deleted and reinstalled. I am on IPhone SE. I have looked in all the locations for the files that have been suggested on this Forum with no help. Can someone help me find these lost PDF’s Thanks

Hi , I have not find any of my important PDFs after the latest update , I didn’t understand the update solution in  the other threads , what are the exact steps to find my files again? , I am really frustrated as I can’t get many of the purchased PDFs again!!

Hi, I was using adobe acrobat on my iPad yesterday and all of a sudden it seemed to have updated and the format looked totally different. Practically all of my files were gone and the app kept crashing. I assumed deleting the app and reinstalling it would fix the problem (which may have been a huge mistake). My files are still nowhere to be found despite the fact that my iPad regularly backs up automatically and I am almost always connected to WiFi. How can I recover these files? There were at least 150 and I assumed they would be saved under my account.

New version 18.09.14 highlighter is not working on text.  This newer version is not user friendly and more difficult to access markup tools.  Highlighter opens and I choose the colour but it does not highlight my test.
