Acrobat SDK

I have upgraded my PC to Window 10 (Chinese version) , and is trying to reinstall my CS6 Master Collection. All other programmes look fine, but the Acrobat X Pro cannot be installed.It happened once when I was using Win 7, by that time the problem can be solved by changing the language settling to 'English(UK)'.But this time changing language setting doesn't work.What other solution to my problem ?

I have an old version of Acrobat  Reader 8 Professional which i have brought forward to new PC’s several time, -always deactivating the program on the old PC before new installation. As I’m retired and only use the program for a few special purposes (OCR, splitting pdf’s etc,) as nonpaid work for charity organisations, I have tried to forward my 8 pro version also to my new Windows 10 laptop, and it works, but when i’m asked to register the program I get following messages although both Internet and Javascript is OK. - INTERNET CONNECTION NOT DETECTED Retry activating over internet or adjust your internet connection .... Our company makes use of Standard Operating Procedure documents (SOPs).  For quality assurance standards we had to add an 'Uncontrolled copy' stamp to all the SOPs to indicate that they are not originals.  An electronic stamp was added to the documents and subsequent security was implemented to only allow users to view and print the documents but not to edit it etc.  If the documents are viewed the first page is shown with the other pages being blank and only showing the electronic stamp added.I have tried to remove the security but to no avail.  I have also selected the "remove hidden information' option, but with no improvement.I basically need the pages to show and not be blank.I shall appreciate any help in this regard.

Hi,I will soon have to create a series of PDFs with lots ofinternal document links. The tools I have to work with are Windows 7, Word 2010and Acrobat DC. Due to an overbearing level of restrictions in a largecorporate organisation, I won’t be able to switch to alternative versions ofthe programmes or other software.I am creating the links within Word by use of its Bookmarksfacility. If I then create the PDF by using Word’s “File” > “Save as” . >“PDF” commands, everything works fine. However, if I create the PDF directlyfrom in Acrobat DC from the “Tools”, the links do not work. The links also don’twork if I create the PDF directly from the “Acrobat” command in the ribbon withWord.I can’t use the “Save as PDF” option  as any graphics imported in the file need tohave searchable text in the PDF. I do this by importing EPS’s into the Worddocument which convert fine if the PDF is created in Acrobat DC. If I createthe PDF by using the “Save as PDF” commands, all the text in the EP

I am publishing PDFs for people to download and print. I am required by some clipart artists to flatten/merge their images into the document so that they cannot be extracted. I use both vector and raster graphics in my PDFs. When I tried one method of flattening using Print Production in Acrobat, it reduced the quality of my PDFs. Is there a way for me to flatten images that maintains the high quality of my graphics in either Acrobat or InDesign? By the way, I do optimize my PDFs.Susan

Have Acrobat Reader and Acrobat Writer installed on a Terminal Server. We have used AppSense to control licenses for Acrobat Writer so by default user will receive Acrobat Reader.If I am using Acrobat Reader and I open up Outlook 2013 and highlight a PDF within a mail then right click and select Quick Print the document isn't printed, however if I allow permission to Acrobat Writer I am then able to quick print.Incidentally if I have a machine with just Acrobat Reader installed an no Acrobat Writer the quick print works so it is something to do with Acrobat Reader and Acrobat Writer being installed on the same server.Anyone else have this issue ?Regards Ivan

Hello folks,When opening a PDF portfolio, its cover page shows up for 4 seconds and then disappears. Is there any way to control the time during which the cover page appears on the screen? The time is defined somewhere, I just can't figure out where it's defined.Thank you for your input in advance!

HelloI have an action wizard that transform several tif files to pdf and then to .txt I follow this procedure because when I saved directly to txt, in each file always asked if I want to save the pdf created automatically.So it worked all good, but now in some files I get the following alert "The font ''* Time new romand - 7537 contains bad /Widths".Is there any way I can skip this alert or fix this problem.First I tried to identify this files and put in another directory, to process later but there are a lot of them. Any ideas?Thanks!

I have Adobe Acrobat 9 Standard.  All documents attempted to scan appear enlarged and blurry to receipient.

I am using an action wizard to OCR (ClearScan) to enhance the text and remove the skew on the letter size scans in multiple files. It gets the original files from one folder then saves them to another  Generally it is working good but on the odd pages with text close to margins or large skews it will chops off some of the lower text once straightened.  I have tried using the action wizards "Crop pages" to remove white margins, center etc but there does not seem to be any changes Have never used it before.  (If I go back to the document and select all objects I can drag the objects up and they fit fine)1) Can the straightening also center to page when there are white borders?  Letter size scan to letter size page.2) Automate the Action Wizard to start when file added to folder and delete the old file so they do not get reprocessed again?Thanks

I am attempting to edit a PDF Doc. I can see the PDF document. When I push the fill and Sign button it goes to a white screen shows the general load icon but then gpoes to just the blank screen. I can add comments and other features. I just cannot get it to show up in the fill and sign. Anyone else having this issue? Anyone know how to correct this? I have confirmed my Adobe is up to date as well.

Every time I open a PDF, Acrobat does an OCR scan and the text is not clear.  How do I turn this off?

My laptop did a windows update on the 26th and since that point I have not been able to use my adobe acrobat pro software on my PC laptop (I have Adobe creative suite 4 if that helps). Every time i go to open a pdf I get an error message that says Acrobat is part of a suite and I need to open another programme, like Photoshop, first. Needless to say i have open Photoshop several 100 times (it works perfectly btw) but no luck.So far:- I have restored my laptop back to pre 26th of sept - no joy...- I have uninstalled the whole adobe suite twice and reinstalled it - it says it is fine, but it lies - the error message comes back!- I have used the Repair acrobat installation in the help tab- I have tried using the software off line (someone thought it might work)Anyone have any new ideas to try? Short of throwing the laptop out the window and buying a new one!

When doing a custom scan there is one feature and one bug in my opinion that need fixing.Metric sizing for custom scans is still not present for all of the world barring the USA who default to metric sizes.Inputting the sizes is counter-intuitive as you have to input the numbers right to left so if you want to a width of 8.65 you have to type 65.8. Tell me how that makes any sense?

I have an issue when using the "Add text box" tool (square with small T inside it):After pasting text from Word into the box, I format the text and the box as I want it. Where does Acrobat store printing preset page sizes?

Whenever I try to create a PDF from the Acrobat plugin in Chrome browser, after selecting the save location, it will be stuck at "Downloading for Conversion..." on the first try after turning on my computer.It will just hang there, and then I have to end the Acrobat listening plugin in Task Manager to get it to stop.  Retrying again will not work, and I have to end the plugin by force again.The plugin will only start to work if I use the normal "Print" option in Chrome and select Adobe PDF printer one time.  Then when I try the Acrobat plugin in Chrome again, it will start to work.Is there a way to stop this from happening, so that the Acrobat plugin in Chrome will work every time after computer start/restart so I don't have to go through the extra steps?Windows 8.1 64bitLatest Chrome browserLatest Adobe CC Acrobat

When filling in a form, the text is so small i cannot see it but gets larger when I tab to the next field.  How do I fix this?  I have created my own forms in the past and am familiar with assigning properties but I have never seen this issue before and do not see an option to fix it in properties.

I am trying to create a pdf from an HTML page. But it just distorts because of size issues. How can i fix this ?

This is a feature modification request, I suppose. I often us the commenting tools and love some of the features, however the interface has always been wonderful in some aspects, and irritating in others. Some of the features that relate to the commenting popups can only be found in the preferences tab - not the first place you'd look - and then they tend to be universal changes. I'd like to see all the commenting options accessible from the commenting toolbar, for a start.Most of all, though, I'd really like to have a quick switch that determines whether you want a comment to pop up or not when you hover over it. I tend to mark a lot of students' work digitally now in LOTE (Languages Other Than English) and use a variety of custom stamps and annotations since the text recognition won't acknowledge handwritten asian text. In particular, I use ticks and crosses. There are many of these. It is visually distracting to have commenting pop-ups each time your cursor hovers over a tick or cro

Every time I exit out of my document or try to print it a bunch of letters and words go missing. For example here is a document that I was adding text to. Everything on this page was filled out, After upon saving and exiting my document pretty much all of my text other than a few numbers got deleted from it. It does this to every document I have edited. Does anyone know what is wrong and how I can fix this?
