Hi all,I've looked all over the internet and can't find a solution to a problem I'm having. I purchased a student-teacher version of Adobe Acrobat and I get a message when I open a pdf that reads:  Malformed SOM expression: form 1[0].#subform[0].  I hit the OK button but the message pops up over and over. All I've seen online is something about a missing period or a Java Script error.  I've no idea what this means and I'm getting frustrated because I need this for a class and for work.  Is there a simple fix?  Here's what I've done so far:Uninstalled/reinstalled the program.Checked for updates.Run a check for issues. I don't know how to check for Java errors.Many thanks,Deborah

Hello, I need to often circulate a PDF form that requires a signature loop amongst 7 people (always same users and always same chronoligical order).Each signator must: SIGN, DATE and CHECK either ACCEPT or REJECT before it goes to the next person.I am the document iniator and I have Acrobat DC Pro to create the PDF but it is extremely time consuming to assign each feld individually to each user.What would be the most optimized way to do this (I assume using a template) but where do I start, I can;t seem to find an option to upload or save such a template with pre-defined signature fields. Lastly, when I assign a signature request to someone, they can only sign a specific area that I preselect from my PDF... I have a large area at the bottom of my form for "comments", is there a way to allow "ANY" of the 7 people in loop to add their comment if they wish to... I seem to be limited to only assign that option to 1 person while I would want to have that option open for anyon

I noticed the new update of Adobe Acrobat Pro 2017 of Mac Version (2017.011.30188) has something wrong happening.When I extract one page from a PDF File and decide to save it as a single file, when I tap save button, Save as PDF window is open, but I could not continue to save it to a specific place and I have to close this window. After I tap "Save" again, tis issue appears once more and I wonder whether it is a bug in this new update.

I'm reading the PDF specifications and I'm not sure what the difference is between a PDF that has an xref with multiple subsections vs a PDF that has multiple xref sections. I see that both indicate that there has been incremental changes to the PDF but when would I create an entirely new xref section rather than create a new subsection to the existing one?

I want to try the Adobe online tool to convert a file without signing in using an ID. It says under the Adobe Acrobat online services FAQ that: After using a tool, if you don’t sign in to save or share your file, Adobe will delete the file from our servers within a short period of time. Can you confirm what is the time frame that the file will be deleted please?

PDF want let me fill in date on application

When my daughter and I save a PDF file to our laptops, another copy is also being saved on the other one's system away at school 120km away. We have never used each others system nor understand how this is happening. Any ideas how to stop this?Thank you in advance,Dad-Sara 

Hi all, If I upload a pdf to the online adobe convertor on the website and convert it to word without being signed into an Adobe account, is the document in the cloud only and no where else as the information is of a confidential nature. Can I request the document be deleted from the cloud or are these documents deleted automatically after a certain period of time?  

I've been using Place Signature forever and its always given me the option of how to insert (webcam, write, etc).  I recently did some type of security update and now the options are gone and it always take me to place a digitial ID which is not what i wasnt to do.  I sign and use the webcam,  How do I get these options back?! 

Hi everyone, I'm new to Adobe.I tried to convert an assignment from PDF to Word using Online Acrobat PDF-to-Word without realizing I wasn't signed in, and it says that my file was uploaded to Cloud. What does this mean? I can't find it anywhere (since it's not in my Cloud), and I think I'm just paranoid that my homework is now floating somewhere on the internet. Is there a way to find it on whichever Cloud it's on, and delete it? Thanks.

Hi there, ridiculously simply question but I can't find a definitive answer. Does the Pro version of Acrobat Pro include all functions from the PDF Pack? 

I would like to know if there is a way to find out the actual size of a pdf.  I save them and set up the page as an A5, but when commercial printer receives it is shows 189x267.  Also when you select Command I on a mac it talks about resolution size of 473 x 649 (Not sure what this is or could this be the size in pixels?)

Why does Adobe Acrobat DC not allow you to print to PDF or save/export your PDF in booklet format? I need to save a document in a variety of formats - one as a booklet for people to download, print and fold into an A5 booklet. When I try to do this Acrobat informs me it is not supported. How can this be resolved in Acrobat? (Not through third party options - there is a free one but it seems rediculous this is not something you can do automatically in this software.)
