Adobe Media Encoder

I'm currently running ME 15.4.1 on Windows 10 Pro 10.0.19043 & don't laugh at me but I need to create a cinepak codec AVI file. This is for a strange resolution 6688x24 & is the requested delivery format. Is there any way to get ME to create the file or is it just a none starter meaning I'll have to look outside Adobe CC? Thanks!

I'm trying to render a video in media encoder, but payment bill is constantly appearing and causing the software to crashWhen my payment is late, this usually happens 2 times before rendering using media encoder, it's kinda annoying but I think it's fine since the payment is late, but I still should have full software capabilities until the end of month, right now this screen appears everytime while I'm rendering until the render simply crashes, I'm gonna solve this payment issue next week. Is there a way to stop these crashes?Thank you

Hello, each time I want to export my video from AE /clicking on the menu in AE to ecport in ME/, the Media Encoder doesnt launch, freezes. Each time I must uninstall and install ME again.It worked few month ago perfectly, I extended my Adobe package and since then is not working.I have AE in ENG and ME in my local language. Can you advise?

Research seems to imply that Media Encoder is a free adjunt to programs 'such as' Premiere Pro (eg https://adobe-media-encoder.en.lo4d.com/windows) and my understanding was if you had bought Adobe software that could usefully use this, it could be free ... but I have Adobe Audition at considerable cost per month and when I tried to add Media Encoder (so that I can export videos with added voiceover) I was told I could only download it for free if I had the whole Adobe suite/Premiere Pro.  Is this correct?  The advice is conflicting.  AND ... if Adobe don't allow this at present, could they consider adding it, given that Audition is a similar program to Premiere Pro, just leaning more towards the audio than the video side of things?  It would seem a logical step.  Does anyone on the Adobe staff monitor these posts and could kindly answer?

Hi, I am trying to export from premiere to media by pressing queue and i get this error massage..Media is installed in my creative cloud as you can see in the second photo.I also tried to uninstall and reinstall, still didnt help...Any suggestions?Tnx

The dynamic link between After Effects and AME seems not to work. When I export a file from Ae (Export/Add to Media Encoder Queue) Ae opens but nothing I added to the queue even after 30mins. This isn't right. The iMac is only 2 months old (i7, 72GB, 8GB GPU) running BIG Sur, so it's not a spec issue. I've tried holding shift when starting Ae to clear prefsI started AME first and then opened Ae I restarted the iMacI've waited 20mins The only thing that seems to work is if I uninstall the program and re-install and then leave AME open all day. Surely there is a better way? Any advice would be appreciated.David

Hi,I saw simmilar threads dating back to 2014-17, but the solutions handed there does not help me in any way.I have a problem with exporting files from AE and Premeire through AME, everytime i try I see the message "After Effects not installed" or longer one that says that there is a prolem with Dynamic Link.I tried to reinstall all my aplictins but it didn't work.I work on Windows 10 and i have all the newest updates installed.Please help 😞

Hi, I seem to be experiencing a problem whereby Media Encoder allows me to render and export using H.264, but the video playback (using VLC/Preview/Quicktime and other computers I've tested on) freezes 3/4 of the way through the video. The same issue seems to be happening on all files I try to export from different projects and only for H.264 exports – mpeg, mov etc seem to play back as they should do, without issues. I have also attempted to export .mov and then convert to H.264 after and the issue still seems to be happening. Is anybody else experiencing this issue? Or know what the issue may be? Thanks in advance. Computer used:iMac (Retina 5K, 27-inch, 2017)Big Sur 11.2.33.4 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i516 GB 2400 MHz DDR4 All Adobe CC apps up-to-date to 2021 versions.  

I've got a comp that is pulling data from a JSON file (in the project). I have a controller that selects which client's data is being populated throughout.  When I render it out via render queue, it works. When I try to render it via ME, it just shows the default value of the text layers. Is this still a known issue? Are there workarounds? ETA: This is with the most current Ae and Me (18.4.1 (Build 4) and 15.4.1 (Build 5), respectively) on a MBP running Big Sur 11.5.2.

Hello there, I am having an issue rendering after effects compositions on Media Encoder. You can see the problem below.  Any ideas regarding this problem? I am going mad.  Thank you so much.    

I need to change what account I linked to AME and Premiere I try logging out and logging into a different account it will always revert back to the original account. I have tried logging out on AME, Premiere and all browsers and it will still reset. Any Help would be appreciated. Using CC 2018.

Well now I can't render H.264 codec without ME freezing my whole computer during the process. Tried like 15 time and it's never made it past halfway on the renderer.   Title edited by Mod

I'm tryiong to export a freeze frame, and ME freezes and causes Premier Pro 2021 to freeze.  How do I turn off Max Render? I cannot find it in preferences.     Title edited by mod

I run two vod channels for streamers and i am trying to set up watch folders that export the vod and then upload it to youtube. however when i tried to log into the second account on the second watch folder it logged me put if the first account on the first watch folder. is there a work around for this or is this an intended feature?

Encoding a 9 min 13 sec After Effects composition in H.264 format at 1080p30 with Hardware Encoding [Mercury Playback Engine GPU Acceleration (CUDA)] enabled, taking more than 10 hours to render. The GPU is using 0% for video encoding and the CPU is being used more than 75%. The same happens when I render/export something from Premiere Pro or After Effects.  Is it normal?Note: I've used some heavy effects like CC Light Burst 2.5, Glow, and 4-Color Gradient in the composition. Configurations:CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 3900xGPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070RAM: 16 GBOS: Windows 11Pr, Ae, Me version: 2021

H!Totally newbie amateur just want to have a hobby and making a shortfilm to competition.The film is quite ready and the sound in project is fine (enough for me). Now using Media Encoder to export this.Competition rules are simple:H264, 1920 x 1080, 25 fps for video and for audio stereo, 16 bit/s, 48 kHzSetting the encoder done and the result - fine video with sound so bad that it realy hurts ones soul. Something goes badly wrong with the voice! The input contains a .MOV file:And for audio a .WAV filePlease, you with skills and knowledge: It would be nice to learn about this and maybe to be able to make a decent movie.And so you don't need to ask - no money reward in this competition (like I could win) - just fun! 

Hi all,  Has anyone run into the following issue export a same as source file out of Avid and bringing it into Adobe Media Encoder? I attached the screenshot.  Basically, it's showing me it has no video which is not true. In addition, it is saying that the native frame rate of the clip is 2997 which is also not true it is 23.98. Pleasee advise!

I've put together a mix of songs with a graphic for a friends birthday, but whenever i run encoder it fails to finish. using the PresetYouTube Full HD 1080P. iove run it twice and it doesnt render properly. the video cuts out about 30 mins into the 3hr clip. i noticed in the log it says interrupted by user, but i never touched it. i have atatched the error log to this post   

Proxies files generated by adobe media encoder don't play, not in premiere and not on computer.. Just a frozen frame. I have tried just about everything, following multiple different online tutorials, presets, ingest settings, etc. However, the proxy files generated can never be played inside or outside of premiere pro. The original files do play (4k Drone Footage H.265) fine... But lag in Premiere timeline. Hence, my attempt to create proxies.  Has anyone experienced this issue or discovered a solution to this?   

Hi everyone,I have updated my versions of AME (15.4), and my script doesn't seem to want to work anymore. The script starts AME automatically from AE. I re-installed the AME 15.2 and it works. It's not a cache or preference issue.
