Hey everyone, was wondering if anyone knew how to get an install of Media Encoder 2021? I have a few projects that require me to edit in Premiere/AE 2021 due to some preview transcoding issues in the newer versions, but I seem to have accidently uninstalled my Media Encoder 2021 version and can't seem to find anywhere to get it back. Right now I'm just editing in '21 and then upgrading the project to '23 to use the Media Encoder of that version, but it's just a bit of an unnecessary hassle. Thanks!
We all know it happens. Half the time, your Windows version of Media Encoder 2023 will just randomly stop encoding your Premiere project file (not a crash, mind you, it'll just randomly stop). You do the thing where you pause, then open Task Manager and force AfterFX to close, then unpause, and hope it doesn't happen again...except, you know, in the deepest depths of your soul, that it will. And when it does, you know that you'll do the same steps again, and again, and again, and pray that the export doesn't fail. (Even though, statistically, there's probably a 1 in 3 chance that it will.)In my case, I'm ready to pull my hair our because there's no rhyme or reason to when it stops. Sometimes it stops when it's rendering a sequence with lots of AfterEffects sequences. Sometimes, it'll stop right at a cut. And other times, it'll just randomly stop on something simple that it shouldn't be having difficulties with. You look at your system, with 128GB of RAM and an nVidia RTX 2080 GPU (a lit
I got an app crash at open Adobe Media Encoder 2023.It usual refusing to start up for no apparent reason...
Hello, I have 100 folders, every folder contains ~ 500 of image sequence,is there a way to batch all folders into media encoder instead of importing every folder ?
I'm trying to create a proxy for a clip that has some kind of glitch that lasts for 12 frames. I'm guessing this glitch happened in-camera or in the memory card because I can see the glitch (green bar on lower third of frame) when I play back the raw clip in VLC. Even though the clip has a glitch for 12 frames, I still need to generate a proxy for it. But when I try to do this, the proxy stops transcoding once it reaches the glitch and I get a "failed" status in Media Encoder. The error report says "encoding failed." Is there a way to create a proxy without the transcode failing? Even if it subtitutes black frames where the glitch is happening. I can break the clip up into two clips, pre-glitch and post-glitch, and generate proxies for those, but I would rather not do that and complicate the finishing process down the line since this is a feature film. Thanks in advance !!
I need to export a GIF version of my video (so it can loop and autoplay when I post it on Behance). I made a video edit in After Effects for my product, the file is 4000x4000 and I need it like that, cuz my other stuff that I recently uploaded on my Behance draft are also the same size and I didn't have the issues with another GIF, except it was the size of: 4000x2000, because it was the first page of the project and it rendered as I wanted it. I tried to export from After Effects to PhotoShop and I get an error, so the only solution is the Media Encoder. I also tried to convert from mp4 to gif using some online apps but it didn't work and now I'm desprate to find an solution, please help.

Hi, I have a problem when exporting a video from After Effects using Media Encoder. It somehow trims the left edge of my video and puts it on the right side of the screen instead - see the screenshots attached: first one is from After Effects, showing how it should look like; second one is the video exported by Media Encoder. I have tried with different export settings. I re-installed Media Encoder deleting all the previous settings. I tried exporting another project (that I had exported correctly some weeks ago) - always the same error. If I export directly with After Effects render queue, the video looks fine.Anybody knows what's the reason and how to solve this?
I have been having non-stop crashed with both Premiere Pro and Adobe Media Encoder during export. I've tried reinstalling and wiping preferences with no luck. All drivers are updated. I've tried a few different versions of the 2023 builds with no luck. System specs shoud be more than sufficient, I have a dump log from the crash but it's saying the format is unsupported for attachments. I'm at the end of my rtope here, it's been crashing for 45 minutes straight at this point and having a render complete is basically a prayer. I've tried using both CUDA and software playback only. I've tried changing from VBR to CBR on output render. System isn't remotely close to topping out. During render CPU is around 60% with maybe 20gb of memory being used. Typically renders get a few minutes in before crapping out, this occurs with both 1080 and 4K renders. Windows 10 Proi9-13900KSRTX 409064GB RAM
Mac OS 10.10.3Mac Pro 2013 2.7Ghz 12 core64GB 1866 MHz DDR3 ECCAMD FirePro D700 6144 MBIve tried the following with Red Raw, Pro Res and .mp4 footage. If I add a Lumetri Color effect to a clip or adjustment layer and queue the timeline to Media encoder, no color effects show up on the final compressed file. The only way to get the color effect to show up is to bypass media compressor entirely and export directly from Premiere which stops me from working in Premiere. This is one of many issues I have had with this VERY buggy release. Anybody else experiencing this issue?
I have been trying render this video for a few hours and it has stayed at 00:00:01 all the time it hasn't changed or moved. This is a real issue with rendering clips in Adobe Media Encoder. Does anyone have any suggestions to speed up the process?
When I try to export a video from After Effects, media Endocer gets stuck at the very end... I've tried alll kinds of settings, the same thing... When I try to export only video or only audio, then it works no problem. So the issue is probably there, but I have no idea what to do...

I just edited a video i recorded with my iphone 6, after i finished i tried using media encoder to render the video but when I view the exported video it is one second or maybe one frame long also my video takes no time at all to export, almost like its not rendering.I'm exporting in MOV and I am using a free trial, i also am not getting any errors.(Not sure if it matters but since i recorded it with a iphone the video file is called IMG_9533)[Here is the list of all Adobe forums... https://forums.adobe.com/welcome][You don't ask Media Encoder questions in the After Effects forum... I'm working with Mac Pro(late2013) and I haven't done any update, when I open Media Enconder I always get this message...How can I solve it? ...Adobe Media Encoder Error....Adobe Media Encoder has encountered an unexpected error and cannot continue.
When I try to export a project, the process bar of the video uploading to media encoder is stuck at 60%, and when I manually try to open the app, which is installed, nothing happens. How do I make it so that I can actually export projects? Thank you.
Hola.
Hi, i'm having a problem with videos exported using AME or Premiere in HEVC format.Video exports fine, plays fine, but when i try to jump to any point it freezes. it doesnt freeze the player, just "hangs" there. Tested on two mac systems, intel and m1, and on 5 windows machines using multitude of players. quicktime, vlc, even browsers behave the same way. videos encoded using ffmpeg don't have this issue, neither h264 exported using AME.exporting with keyframes every 25 frames doesnt solve the issue. every preset, setting, bitrate, framerate produces the same result.eventually the player "catches up" but it takes forever- jumping 10 minutes takes 7-8 minutes to catch up. also its filesize dependant- same video in 4k will take longer to catch up than the same file in 720p but if the video is small it will take less time. attached is 10min of timecode that has this issue but any "real" video would be much worse. i think it all began with 23.1, but i'm not sure if it didnt happen ear
je voudrais crée proxy sur première pro mais media encoder ne s'ouvre pas quel est le problème svp?
Hi! I hope this is the correct thread for this issue. I'm doing an animation in After effects, but after I exported it in Media Encoder (I use the GIF format) it creates an image with noisy pixels (see image):Those dots were never present in the animation I was workingBut when I exported it via video (H.264) these dots are goneI wonder if I can do something so I can export it on GIF without having those dots. After effects and Media encoder are updated and I used Fractal noise in the animation, but I don't know if it have something to do with it.I'm also working on Mac, M1 pro Let me know if I need to share the entire gif.
Media Encoder is taking a very long time to mux H.264 vide and audio. Its wasn't the case in previous versions. Premiere Pro 23.4 Media Encoder 23.4
Merci d'avance !
I launch media encoder via script. It says it's launched but in fact it is not. I submit .epr to render as mp4. It works on one computer but does not on another and render .aac instead. Mod note: Edited for content. Please abide by Adobe Community Guidelines. These are user-to-user forums.
I'm pretty sure this is a bug, but posting as a discussion to see if maybe I'm just missing something. Here's my setup. I have a bunch of my girls' softball games recorded and wanted to add some graphics (scoreboard, scorebug, match graphics, etc.). I worked up some compositions in AE that draw game data from JSX files. I have two JSX files - one with functions I use to format the data for AE, and the other with the game data itself. Each game gets its own gameData.jsx file, but all games share a scoreboardMethods.jsx file. It all looks at works great in AE and in Premiere when I import it, and if I export it directly in Premiere, the export looks perfect. When I send it over to Media Encoder, however, the AE layers that get values from scoreboardMethods.jsx revert to their default values. This ONLY happens in Media Encoder, and I don't get it. Here's an example. I have a matchup composition that I insert at the beginning of the game.&
