HelloI'm trying to export a premier cc sequence via adobe media encoder and somehow it tells me on ME that the rushes are offline.I tried to clean the media cache both from premier and ME but it didn't help.Waiting for your replyregardsAriel Tamir
Media Encoder 2020 will not stop hanging on exports, not freezing, just stopping usually about a third of the way through. Both myself and my colleague on our two seperate machines are running into this issue on almost every export we send to Media Encoder. We have been trying to export 15 short graphics based videos built in after effects, nothing particularly strenuous. Have spent the last few months rendering the same style videos through Media Encoder 2019 without any issues. As soon as we updated, the problems began! It seems to freeze whenever you go to touch Media Encoder, After Effects or Premiere once the render has been started. I've been using this for years and I would like to think I'm fairly good at troubleshooting but everything I try doesnt fix it. Ive had to resort to rendering straight out of After Effects and then re-rendering straight out of Premiere. If anyone knows how you would go about sorting the issue out and getting Media Encoder Working a
Dear all,I have been having problem with AME for months now when rendering Premiere's projects and cant see to resolve the problem. I have look through so many forums and tried all the methods but still got the same problem: most of the videos failed during the export with AMEThe GPU I'm using is the geforce gtx 980 ti, so today I tried with another pc with geforce gtx 1080 to see whether the problem was with my GPU. But still FAILED...Here is the report I got from AME: When export to QUICKTIME- Encoding Time: 00:02:0403/23/2017 05:01:31 PM : Encoding Failed------------------------------------------------------------Export ErrorWriting with exporter: QuickTimeWriting to file: C:\Users\sleoni2\Desktop\XXX_test.movAround timecode: 00:00:06:08Rendering at offset: 6.320 secondsComponent: QuickTime of type ExporterSelector: 9Error code: -1609629695When export to h.264------------------------------------------------------------- Encoding Time: 00:01:0303/23/2017 05:02:36 PM : Encoding Failed
I'm currently working on stitching together a bunch of MOD/AVCHD files from cameras and encoding them into a single video. They don't require editing, this is just videos that need to be connected together, so Adobe Media Encoder's stitching function is the better tool in this case over Adobe Premiere Pro. However, while some sets I'm having no problem with, others have a larger number of individual clips, and I'm running into the message "Too many source files to display":If I was dropping all of the files from a single location into Adobe Media Encoder to be stitched/encoded, this wouldn't be an issue. But many of the files are from other memory cards, and due to the way the camera names the files, you end up with multiple duplicate file names, which Windows Explorer can't handle in a single folder (obviously), but Adobe Media Encoder can have multiple files with the same name in a single stitch set no problem (since the source path is different). In the screens
Herzlichen Dank Andy
Hi,I’d like to add a .cube file to my macOS directory so that it appears in the Export window under Effects → Lumetri Looks/LUTs. I know I can load it manually each time, but I’d prefer it to be available in the dropdown menu by default. The thing is, I’m not sure where the correct directory is located. Thanks in advance for your help!
Hi everyone,I’ve built a lightweight CEP extension for Adobe Media Encoder (v25.5) and placed it in the usual extension locations:C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\CEP\extensions\com.xcast.ame.bridgeC:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\CEP\extensions\com.xcast.ame.bridge%APPDATA%\Adobe\CEP\extensions I also verified that the required registry keys are set:HKCU\Software\Adobe\CSXS.13 PlayerDebugMode = 1HKCU\Software\Adobe\CSXS.12 PlayerDebugMode = 1 Despite this, the extension never appears in Window > Extensions inside Media Encoder.I even tried rolling back to AME v24, but the panel/extension menu is still missing.Has anyone successfully enabled CEP panels in recent versions of AME, or is there an additional step/setting I’m missing? Thanks in advance!
I want to make a 1240 x 1683px video, but the exported MP4 video file is too large for memory. Is there any way to compress the file size of the video?
Hi!I have a sequence with reframed INSV videos filmed with an Insta360 X5.When exporting from Permiere Pro to Media Encoder, the program, ME, crashes. ME starts, I get the initial splash but then ME terminates without any messages or information. If ME is running when exporting ME terminates. After the crash when starting ME manually, not by exporting from PP, there is no trace of the previous export from PP.Help!/Kjell
I've never used Media Encoder on this computer, infact I just installed it a few weeks ago. To my knowledge I don't have any plugins installed (as I don't really use Adobe apps that often anyways). I already tried a reinstall with no avail. Please help thanks OS: macOS 11.2.3
When I create proxies in Premiere Pro, it won't open in Media Encoder. I already tried to enable PP and Media Encoder in the files section of the system preferences and it won't work. Please help me.
This was the "answered" answer on a post from 2012. vvHi CLCTV,To close this thread, exports interpreted as variable frame rate are now interpreted as constant in AME CC 2014 (8.0), and later. Please create a new thread if you are still having trouble with this issue. Thanks,KevinCould someone explain with detail how Media Encoder is able to convert a Variable frame rate video to constant? I am personally working with a live stream video and trying to add front and back bumpers in post. Thanks![Moved by moderator from the non-technical Lounge Forum to the AME Forum for technical help]
Win10Premiere version 24.41I'm trying to create a proxy through Premiere Pro in the Project screen and the system doesn't recognize the Media Encoder. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the Media Encoder several times through the Creative Cloud software and also through Windows and it doesn't help. Any suggestions?
Hello.I am experiencing very slow rendering times when exporting an AfterFX project via Adobe Media Encoder. The project duration is quite long at 20-30 minutes, the first 15 - 30 seconds are quite effect intensive but then loop repeatedly for the remainder of the duration. During the first 15-30 seconds of effects the CPU goes closer to 100% (around 70-90%) but after that trickels down to barely 50%. GPU sporadically spikes to about 40% but mostly stays at very low utilization anywhere from 10 - 25%. Memory is stable at arund 42-45%. I do not use aftereffects often but use premiere pro a lot more. I notice rendering premiere pro projects is infinitely faster and takes a fraction of the time AfterFX projects take. I'm wondering why AME refuses to utilize the full power of my machine to speed up these renders. A 30 minute export takes over 3 hours. I am aware I can just render the first 2 minute long section and then loop stitch together a loop in Premiere Pro and render that and it woul
I’m building an external Electron/NodeJS app and need to add a populated After Effects project (.aepx) directly into Adobe Media Encoder’s queue without launching After Effects. What I tried:Starting AME and attempting to run ExtendScript via command line: --console es.executeScript, es.executeScript=, and -r script.jsxInside the script: calling app.getFrontend() and app.getEncoderHost(), subscribing to onItemAddedToBatch and onBatchItemCreationFailed, and writing to a temp log fileAME launches, but the script never seems to run (no file writes, no events, no queue items)Goal:Programmatically add the .aepx to AME’s queue (ideally with preset and output) without launching AE.Questions: Is there a supported way in AME 2024/2025 to execute ExtendScript from command line so it runs in the AME host? What is the recommended method to queue AE projects in AME without opening AE?If CLI script execution is not supported, should we use a CEP/UXP panel or Watch Folders instead? Can anyone share
So, I need AE22 installed on my computer .. I don't want to upgrade. Yet, Creative Cloud uninstalls programns withouth me saying it to do so ... My Adobe Media Encoder 2022 is missing, got uninstalled. I need AE22 and Me22 on my setup, there are some issues with Bodymovin not rendering in AE23 and AE24 that I haven't figured out yet, BUT it works perfect in AE22. Someone please tell me how I can installed 2022 programns. The option for older versions, older than 23, doesn't show up.
Issue - Despite making changes to a composition and sending it to AME (from the AE menu "Composition -> Send to Adobe Media Encoder Queue"), Media Encoder exports a video that shows an older version of that composition. The changes are not included. This persists between program restarts and PC shutdowns. Adobe Media Encoder version number - 24.3 build 49 (After Effects version 24.4.0 build 47)Operating system - Windows 10 Pro (22H2) Steps to reproduce - Import a CSV file into AE. Use that CSV as a data source for several text layers. Pre-compose the text layers. Save. Send to AME. Make changes to the CSV outside of AE. Confirm that the new data is appearing in AE. Send to AME.Expected result - All changes made to the composition are reflected in the exported video.Actual result - The exported video is not based on the actual current state of the composition, but a past state. The old data is showing up.
I've been attempting to export a project for a couple of days. I first thought it was a corrupt asset in Premiere, but now I think it's the Media Encoder app. I've uninstalled the app, cleaned the cache, and reset the preferences. Nothing has worked. However, I can break it up into 2 segments and sucessfully export it. Note: I went back and attempted to export some older projects that I had successfully exported in the past and Media Encoder still froze up. Last thing to mention, I attempted to export directly out of Premiere to the built in encoder and it still freezes up. I need some direction. Thanks
HelloI see that this is a common problem and no one gets to any conclusions...In short: Latest AE, latest AME, windows 10Simple composition created in AE -> Add to AME queue. -> AME opens and hangs while displaying Reading XMPIs there a solution for this? Many Thanks
Bonjour,Media encoder ne s'ouvre plus depuis les dernières versions.Comment résoudre ce problème ?Merci pour votre aide
Media Encoder is not working. I updated my MacBook Pro, and the app and have uninstalled and reinstalled Media Encoder twice with no luck. Need to upload a video and cant
I am new to Media Encoder. I have been using it for about a week now. I can't figure out how to keep my Disc from looping at the end and start playing over. My goal is to play the disc and then stop at the end.
I can't download Media Encoder 2023 anymore, and my system doesn't support the current version. Am I out of luck? I can still get older versions of Premiere, Audition, Photoshop, etc. Why has this one disappeared? And why no access to the last version of Encore? I already don't like the subscription model, but now losing access to programs that I use makes it more frustrating.
I’m running an ExtendScript inside Adobe Media Encoder 2025 on macOS and I keep getting this error:objc[38592]: Class CertificateVerifier is implemented in both /Applications/Adobe Media Encoder 2025/Adobe Media Encoder 2025.app/Contents/Frameworks/Registration.framework/Versions/A/Registration (0x1384658e0) and /Applications/Adobe Media Encoder 2025/Adobe Media Encoder 2025.app/Contents/MacOS/Adobe Media Encoder 2025 (0x104dad930). This may cause spurious casting failures and mysterious crashes. One of the duplicates must be removed or renamed. Environment: macOS [15.6 Sequoia], Adobe Media Encoder 2025 [25.3 Build 73]What I expected: script to run without errorsWhat happens: error above, and doesn't run the scriptWhat I tried: reinstalling Media Encoder, clearing prefsHas anyone else encountered this CertificateVerifier duplicate class error? Is this a known bug in AME 2025 or something with ExtendScript? I'm on an Apple M1 Pro
