Hello friends, I use the media encoder daily and very frequently. We exported several sequences from the premiere in queue and the suggestion is that it would be possible to add a feature to save the queue and its settings such as format, preset and output file. Because a single project is used for each client with multiple sequences in it, we render the sequences in different formats for different outputs, and this feature would be very nice. Every time the queue completes and we reopen the Media Encoder it is necessary to import the project and select the sequentially define the format of each one, preset and output. Thanks in advance!
I have files on my PC I have downloaded from my GoPro camera. These are downloaded as .mp4 files and are unusable by Adobe Express in my video project. I then downloaded Adobe Media Encoder to be able to convert the files to a format that Adobe Express can use. I don't see .mov as an option (this is the file type from my iPhone that Express has no problem using). I have tried to convert to a lot of different formats and still nothing seems to work with Adobe Express. Is there a file type I can convert these to in Media Encoder so that Adobe Express can use them?
Trying to output some files in Apple Prores on the Media Encoder 2024 version. Was this option removed or is it under a different name now? Please advise.
When I import m4v files into premiere or encoder, it does not bring in the audio. There is audio in the file. How do I make it import the audio as well?I have a library of m4v files I'm trying to re-export as mp4 or mov files. I did a batch and lost the audio on all of them.
I have a problem when uninstalling adobe media encoder, when I try to uninstall my pc I experience a blue screen which causes the uninstall process to be interrupted, I find that adobe media encoder is still there but cannot be uninstalled, I tried to find a way via youtube but it didn't work, I downloaded adobe media encoder but the version is different from the most recent version I'm not sure if that's what makes my adobe media encoder not detect the version and cannot be uninstalled, I'm confused what to do. in this case my adobe media encoder is 24.1 and in adobe creative cloud is available 24.1.1 I don't know what to do, please anyone help me
So I was trying to export an animation I made on Adobe Animate, but when got to the Media Encoder, it isn't even loading at all. Please help. (Note: Everything is completely updated)
When I have multiple projects in the Media Encoder queue and I go back into a project to edit something in premiere pro CC. Do the edits automatically update in the project? Or do I have to clear the project from the queue and redo the export to Media Encoder. The watch folders are useless as most computers can't render and edit at the same timeIf I do, you are all fired.-Kerry
I have a two computer setup. the first computer is my main computer that i use for most things in my life and my second is a sever. the server stores all of the video files locally and is running media encoder with a watch folder. on my main computer i open up premiere pro and create a new project. i then use the video files on the server to edit them. i save the project to my local machine as a backup then i save a copy to the watch folder. Then media encoder on my server renders it leaving my main machine open for other things. This worked fine yeasterday but today when i tried the same thing the exported video had a red error screen saying media offline. I looked up fixes online but everything i have found says to turn of import sequences natively. i tried that it didn't work. i tried rebooting the server that doesn't work. i haven't changed any settings since yeasterday and it worked fine then. Does anyone know how to fix this.

I'm attempting to transcode footage (.MXF from Sony FX6) into H.246 format, and I'm doing so by adding the source footage into my Media Encoder queue. For some reason, every time ME hits the 50th video, it freezes - right at the beginning. Has anyone else had this issue? I'm not sure if it's specific to the conversion I'm doing now - I've had issues with it freezing while making proxies for me from Premiere Pro. It wasn't until I was running this specific task that I realized it was occuring every time on the 50th video. I've tried this with a few different batches with the same result, so I know it's not specific to a video file (e.g. the file is corrupted). I'm also able to batch transcode 49 files at a time without issue. I would like to be able to have Adobe Media Encoder put the temporary files during encoding in a specific directory, and the final result in another. (In my case I render into my Google Drive folder, but it keeps syncing the temp files too with no way to disable that). Perhaps one way it could be implemented that others might find useful is to add a "local directory" option to the preset publish tab. There's already one for "Adobe Creative Cloud" that even references a local folder, so perhaps you could add an option that lets you choose an arbitrary location? I have to imagine this ability would be useful in general, such as for people who may want to back up a copy to NAS drives or something. Perhaps you could even allow a list of directories to which copies of the file will be sent.
Hi, I have a bunch of clips in the render queue. I want to set in / out timecodes for multiple clips at a time. Is there any way to do this? Obviously, I can click on the preset of any individual clip and change each one manually, but is there any way to multiple-select and batch-change them like you can with the output folder and export presets? Thanks.
Is there a way to execute Extendscript from outside of Media Encoder? Namely to get the render queue and statuses from something like an external app running Node or Python? I've tried the following Applescript with no luck: set filePath to "test.jsx" tell application "Adobe Media Encoder 2023" do script filePath end tell The error I get is: applescript.scpt:76:82: script error: Expected end of line but found “script”. (-2741) When I try to run the following example code on the scripting site (https://ame-scripting.docsforadobe.dev/guide/index.html#what-is-a-good-starting-point-to-understand-the-scripting-objects), I get errors."/Applications/Adobe Media Encoder 2023/Adobe Media Encoder 2023.app/Contents/MacOS/Adobe Media Encoder 2023" --console es.processFile ~/Development/test.js The errors: objc[90684]: Class CustomWKWebView is implemented in both /Applications/Adobe Media Encoder 2023/Adobe Media Encoder 2023.app/Contents/Frameworks/Registration
Premier pro and 3rd party applications like capcut have where you can adjust the lighting. I want to be able to adjust lighting in multiple clips. Right now the only thing close is tone mapping and sdr conform. Are there any other features you can provide that can enhance the lighting adjustments?

Hello all, Sometimes I need to add timecode overlay onto client's videos by transcoding through Media Encoder before starting audio post in pro tools. When I take a video, regardless of the source format, and export to ProRes or DNxHD it has exactly 1100 samples added to the front of the original audio once it has been processed. To say things another way, media encoder appears to be introducing 1090 samples of delay to the audio. But, and this is the important part, this is visible to me when importing into protools! When I import both the original and the re-endocded videos into, say, premier and check them: things line up just fine. But when I import into pro tools... no good, there's a consistent 1090 sample delay. However, Pro Tools doesn't see this delay with all files... only those that have been processed through media encoder into an MXF container seemingly. Like, if I re-encode from H264 Mp4 right back into H264 mp4, the audio sync is fine in pro tools. It's just the Pro

For some reason, my version of Pp and Me was updated to the 2024 version. Unfortunatly, Me has a bug creating Proxy files, it goes into a continues loop recreated the same Proxt files. Should I go back to a previous version that works or is there a 3rd App to create proxies?

I need to use Premiere Pro v22.6.4, because that seems to be the last version to support DV capture. Unfortunely, it seems the Media Encoder for that version got uninstalled at some point (I had the remove old versions option selected in my preferences). So my problem is that this Media Encoder for that version of Premiere is not available to install through Creative Cloud (that only offers back to v23). I've googled around, and I cannot see where to get it. Does anyone know how I can get that version of Media Encoder? Thanks in advance. 🙂
I had a queue up with a couple of edited videos that I spent a ton of time on. And then a power surge occurred which made my computer shut down and I turned it back on and all of the videos are gone from the queue. And I don't know how to get them back.
Hello! Am new to AME 2024. Aim is to convert a truckload of MTS 1920x1080p60 28Mbps H.264/AVCHD MPEG-4 Part 10 lossless to MP4 1920x1080p60 28Mbps H.264 MPEG-4 Part 14 so keywords can later be added to the clips and edited in APP 2024. Audio tab: AAC 48kHz. Some clips are 2-, some 6-channel audio. Edits and effects not needed: eg color, nits, key frames, etc. Seems to be no plain and simple Preset for what i want. So, i made one: Video tab: Match Source everything. Don't understand how to choose a Target Bitrate so i guessed it's the same as the Max (28Mbps as per camera manual). 2-Pass VBR. Time interpolation: Optical Flow. Audio tab: 320kbps bitrate (AME's choice, not mine). Renderer: hardware. But when the preset is dropped on an MTS file, it switches to software, but doesn't identify what tipped the scale! Or in a test, converted MTS to M4V without asking! Any suggestions regarding the custom user preset settings to make it work the way needed with hardware accelerat
For years now these fonts are extremely unpredictable and invariably another buggy adobe tragedy. I just realized the long form video I already released used a substition font. But, it will not render in time to fix the problem before I want to release it. I've reported this problem before, the font I pick in premiere not appearing or something buggy with it in Encoder. I just don't have time to explain further. I've already lost so much inspiration and time dealing with adobe trash.
For some reason, I cannot get Media Encoder to render the section of video that I have specified in Premiere Pro. Both are 2024.When I just export media it renders fine, but if I go through Media Encoder, it renders a section that is not part of the specified section. Is there some Premiere setting that I'm forgetting about?
Does anyone know if audio needs to be pitch corrected when using the Time Tuner effect on Adobe Media Encoder? How? Using AME version 23.2 on Windows
