Adobe Media Encoder

Hello all, Sometimes I need to add timecode overlay onto client's videos by transcoding through Media Encoder before starting audio post in pro tools. When I take a video, regardless of the source format, and export to ProRes or DNxHD it has exactly 1100 samples added to the front of the original audio once it has been processed. To say things another way, media encoder appears to be introducing 1090 samples of delay to the audio. But, and this is the important part, this is visible to me when importing into protools! When I import both the original and the re-endocded videos into, say, premier and check them: things line up just fine. But when I import into pro tools... no good, there's a consistent 1090 sample delay. However, Pro Tools doesn't see this delay with all files... only those that have been processed through media encoder into an MXF container seemingly. Bonjour,je travaille sur after effect version 24.1.0 et je ne peux plus exporter dans media encoder (version 24.1.1) mes projets. J'ai une fenetre qui mouline avec Connexion au serveur dynamic link mais il ne se passe rien. J'ai suisvi les consignes du forum d'adobe de dévérouiller dans les pref de AE désactivez l’optionActiver le codage parallèle. et Sous Rendu vidéo, remplacez Rendu par Mode du Logiciel de Moteur de Lecture Mercury seulement et cliquez sur OK. J'ai reinstallé plusieurs fosi les deux appli mais cela ne change pas. merci

For some reason, my version of Pp and Me was updated to the 2024 version. Unfortunatly, Me has a bug creating Proxy files, it goes into a continues loop recreated the same Proxt files. Should I go back to a previous version that works or is there a 3rd App to create proxies? 

I working in Premiere Pro sending clips over and over again to Media Encoder queue to export them after. I have hundress of clips In Midea Encoder in queue waiting to be exported. But after rebooting pc or reopening After Effects all of clips cant to export. I recieve error:Could not read from the source. Please check if it has moved or been deleted. How to fix it problem? 

I need to use Premiere Pro v22.6.4, because that seems to be the last version to support DV capture. Unfortunely, it seems the Media Encoder for that version got uninstalled at some point (I had the remove old versions option selected in my preferences). So my problem is that this Media Encoder for that version of Premiere is not available to install through Creative Cloud (that only offers back to v23). I've googled around, and I cannot see where to get it. Does anyone know how I can get that version of Media Encoder? Thanks in advance. 🙂

I had a queue up with a couple of edited videos that I spent a ton of time on. And then a power surge occurred which made my computer shut down and I turned it back on and all of the videos are gone from the queue. And I don't know how to get them back. 

Hello! Am new to AME 2024. Aim is to convert a truckload of MTS 1920x1080p60 28Mbps H.264/AVCHD MPEG-4 Part 10 lossless to MP4 1920x1080p60 28Mbps H.264 MPEG-4 Part 14 so keywords can later be added to the clips and edited in APP 2024. Audio tab: AAC 48kHz. Some clips are 2-, some 6-channel audio. Edits and effects not needed: eg color, nits, key frames, etc. Seems to be no plain and simple Preset for what i want. So, i made one: Video tab: Match Source everything. Don't understand how to choose a Target Bitrate so i guessed it's the same as the Max (28Mbps as per camera manual). 2-Pass VBR. Time interpolation: Optical Flow. Audio tab: 320kbps bitrate (AME's choice, not mine). Renderer: hardware. But when the preset is dropped on an MTS file, it switches to software, but doesn't identify what tipped the scale! Or in a test, converted MTS to M4V without asking! Any suggestions regarding the custom user preset settings to make it work the way needed with hardware accelerat

For years now these fonts are extremely unpredictable and invariably another buggy adobe tragedy.  I just realized the long form video I already released used a substition font. But, it will not render in time to fix the problem before I want to release it.  I've reported this problem before, the font I pick in premiere not appearing or something buggy with it in Encoder. I just don't have time to explain further. I've already lost so much inspiration and time dealing with adobe trash. 

For some reason, I cannot get Media Encoder to render the section of video that I have specified in Premiere Pro. Both are 2024.When I just export media it renders fine, but if I go through Media Encoder, it renders a section that is not part of the specified section. Is there some Premiere setting that I'm forgetting about?

Does anyone know if audio needs to be pitch corrected when using the Time Tuner effect on Adobe Media  Encoder? How?  Using AME version 23.2 on Windows

I haven't created Voice Overs in a while using Audition so I may be forgetting some step(s).On Windows I try to export my track from Audition 23.6 to Media Encoder 23.6 using FILE > EXPORT> EXPORT> EXPORT WITH ADOBE MEDIA ENCODER and ME instantly creates a WAV file in the location I choose and the queue states "done". But the WAV file is only 12 kb or so every time and the file will not open in Media Player or Vlan.  The log indicates the encoding took a fraction of one second, if that. What am I overlooking or doing wrong???

This is an issue that I know has affected many people and is something that I have endured many times. When I send a comp to render from AE to AME it doesn't get past 'connecting to dynamic link server'. It eventually just fails. I used to be able to resolve the issue by restarting my computer however this no longer works. I have recently updated to the latest versions, this has made no difference. AE 14.9AME 17.70 I have purged my disk cache etc and reset preferences. I am currently rendering as .MOV from AE and then importing to AME to encode but this is disruptive to my workflow. Any advice on how to resolve the issue would be appreciated.  

See image below - using ME to render AE comps shifts the right side of the image to the left.  I've tried many different output settings and many different comps and the behavior is the same with all.  This is a timelapse sequence of JPG images in AE 23.6.2 with ME 23.1.  I've been using this workflow for years and have never encountered this before. Any help on this one? 

Hi, guys!I have a video animation created in Adobe Animate that is 1440 x 1080.I keep on trying to convert it to H.264 with Adobe Media Encoder, but all I get is a smushed-height video.I have selected the Match Source - High Bitrate option, and I have unchecked the Aspect and changed the HD Anamorphic option to Square Pixels(1.0)... and still nothing works.I tried playing with the Source Scaling options, but nothing works again.Can you help me?

Issue - Media Encoder won't encode anything on Animate. When I try to export an MP4 or H.246 with quick publish. It just gets stuck at 60%. I can't even update my PC because the update isn't compatible. Is there any way to fix this.Adobe Media Encoder version number: 23.6.2Operating system: Windows 10Steps to reproduce - 1. AME recently stopped working for me. It will launch when I queue a project to be exported, however, the project won't show up in AME so I can start the export process. I've searched and tried everything I can find with regards to fixing AME but still not working. I see a lot of posts about AME not working throughout the Internet with a few suggestions to fix but nothing seems to work with any regularity with anyone.When it stopped working, I hadn't made any changes to my computer (iMac OS 10.11.3) or to my Adobe apps (I'm a CC subscriber). There was an update to PP and AME available, which I downloaded/installed but still not working.[Moderator note: moved to best forum]

Hello, I am currently using Mac Catalina and have been using After Effects and rendering with Media Encoder, but after this recent update, Media Encoder is not picking up the render queue from After Effects whenever I export from AE. Is this a common issue? What is the current workaround? Thanks in advance

What happened to the "Open with Rosetta" option with apps?  We're using Pre M1 Chip Motion Array plug ins and in the past we've been able to get them to work by opening the Adobe Apps with Rosetta.  That checkbox no longer shows up in the Get Info box.  I also checked older app versions and those also do not have the Rosetta option.  I saw the October press release about Rosetta falling out of support for version 24.0. We currently use 23.5. Please advise.  Thanks

Please can adobe fix this, one of the main reasons I’ve  been putting off updating to the latest versions of adobe apps is the fact that it takes much longer to do basic tasks. On the left is media encoder 2022, on the right is media encoder 2023. Why should I have to drag the windows down just to access my custom presets in 2024. Its awkward. 2022 just works. (see video) Another example. On my laptop media encoder 2024 has bad scaling issues, the network drives just don’t fit the screen, yes I have messed about with windows setting to try and fix this. (see image)

We are a digital signage company that builds “custom TV channels” for our end clientsThese channels play on displays in their locations we remotely manageAs part of this we procure video files (with attached audio tracks, from different sources and put them into these channelsThe audio for these are all over the mapWe need to be able to normalize all the files that will be in a given “channel” at the same time.We have used “DDVideo HD Converter Gain” for the last ~10 years, but the company is now defunctThis program allowed us to “batch” all the different files into a “project”, and it returned all the different files with the “audio normalized” (video is untouched)NOTE:  The “batching” requirement is a must have; upload all files at once and have them returned with the audio normalizedBefore doing a lot of testing, can Media Encoder do this?

After updating to version V24.1 Media Encoder takes up to 2 minutes until reading XMP-Data and starting encoding. In the meantime you will get no response from AME so it is very confusing because are not sure, if AME will to anything or if AME is hang up.So any response (progress bar, spinng wheel) will be helpful.Using AME with Premiere Pro and "Import sequences natively" is OFF.Mac Studio 2022 with M1 Max running Ventura 13.6.1
