Adobe Media Encoder

Hello, I am looking for a direct download link for Adobe Media Encoder 2021 (version 15). I am using an older project with Adobe Premiere Pro 2021, and the current versions of Media Encoder are not compatible. Adobe Support has informed me that the installer is no longer available on their servers.If anyone in the community has a copy of the installer and would be willing to share it, it would be a huge help. Hey y'all, I'm trying to desqueeze some footage using media encoder and all the necessary elements seem to be set to the correct settings, but when it exports I have a 1.333 aspect ratio frame with a 16:9 squeezed video in the center. Basically, the "Stretch to Fill" option under the "Source Scaling" section doesn't seem to be doing its job, despite the preview being the correct aspect ratio. here's a before & after of the issue: https://imgur.com/fLkv3WHhere's my settings in ame: https://imgur.com/3D1bOgc as you can see the preview shows the video in the correct aspect ratio, so I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong for it to export incorrectly. I have three versions of AME installed on my Macbook Pro: 2019, 2018 and 2017. These three apps are 3 of the Top 4 largest apps on my system (2017 + 2018 are taking up nearly 7GB of space). I have scoured the web/forums trying to find the answer to this question. Is it okay to remove old versions of Media Encoder? One would assume that you can, but for some reason information on this is very ambiguous/non-existent.Thanks

Hi all! Recently I've been having an issue with my Media Encoder not connecting to an After Effects file that I try to export. I've done some digging on this and found that I should try uninstalling and reinstalling the software. Unfortunately, that didn't fix the issue. This has happened to me in before in the past month and reinstalling worked, but this time it did not. Can someone please give me some pointers if this has happened to you and you've managed to fix it? Thanks so much!

I have 300 clips exported from premiere pro, they are all in order on my time line. I place them in a bing and then send to media incoder. They are all in perfect order, but when I export them, they are all over the place. No matter how I sort them, by date created, name, etc. they are all out of order. I looked up adding sequential numbers automatically to the exported files and two options are "add a # sign to the file name and they will be automatically numbered" but to do that I would have to manually go through 300 clips and add the # sign to each one.  The other option was to "create an ingest preset" but the feature to modify exported file names seems to be gone from there. Is there any possible way to add sequential numbers to my file names or just keep the files in order when I export them? It's a music playlist and they must be in order.

With the older encoder the upload panel was always on the right side (I never needed to move it). Sometime after I upgraded to 2024 the panel disappeared. I haven't done any work in almost a year so now it's just become a problem. i upload to multiple locations.  Can't find that panel anywhere and can't find a post that anybody else is missing it (iincluding searching here) fp

Hi!When I use Media Encoder to export videos from Premiere Pro, it exports without any audio effects. If I export one by one at Premiere Pro itself, it works fine and all the audio effects are exported.It's frutrating, because I need to export several videos everyday, and exporting one by one is not productive. It happened with me in all versions of AME, both in Mac or Windows computers. I'm using now a laptop with Windows 10, Intel i5 8th Gen, no graphic video card dedicated.

TLDR: Hi. I need this setting to stick with the pre-set when I save the preset. Here is what I'm doing, to many hundreds of file - so it's important that this work and I can export the complete settings for my presets in a backup file. A watch folder has been set up to wait for a video file. (This happens in many many folder, but let's just talk about one.)The video is CROPPED in Media encoder, 4:3, to chop off the sides. The final video is square, with the 4:3 action area in the center of the square, with an overlay covering the blank spots that contains branded info.The CROPPED video has an overlay applied.The final video is EXPORTED to a 1:1 video with audio removed.I use SHUTTER ENCODER to add our branded audio file to every video because Media Encoder wont do this.Currently, when I save the preset, the crop setting seems to vanish and does not appear when I just want to edit a preset. Help! Any suggestions?

We have seen a lot of crashers with the "Insta 360 Reframe" plug-in in our Dashboard lately. I tested with the latest plugin from https://www.insta360.com/de/download/insta360-x3 in("Insta 360 Reframe" V2 build 20) in  the standard location on Mac, and it did not crash. Please verify if you have the latest version, and install it correctly in the default location.

My project fails to render in Media Encoder 25.3 (Build 73). At encounter of the first clip with stabilizer effect I get an error. The Media Encoder 2022 seems to be buggy on my side. I usually select different sections of video and find out that the videos are exporting the same videos that I didn't ask for. Is there some kind of issue with Premiere's version when it comes to transferring the videos to Media Encoder for you guys or is it just bugged on my side? Usually, when I export things in bulk, I don't get this problem but it's been annoying and I have to double-check what actually exported correctly.

Hello,I want  to render a movie with subtitle into DCP format using Media Encoder.If I render in H264 format, I get the mp4 file with an .srt file, when I open the .mp4 file with VLC, I can include or not the subtitle, eveything works fine.When I render in DCP format, I do not find the subtitle file into de folder.dcp wich contains only video and audio along with the various XML control files. What am I wrong doing ?Thanks, Frank.

when i load media encoder i get a error window 'adobe media encoder has encountered an unexpected error and cannot continue … the load window was sitting at AEXD ... if i the unload and reinstall the app everything is ok … for that session I did a support chat and i feel had a poor experience ... the first call was disconnected with no explaination after asking me to re-name folder 'common' did not work. The second call i was almost immmediately asked to load software and do a remote session. My backgound has been computer security ... i was unhappy to leap straight into this option without looking for known errors etc first ... again this call was disconnected with no warning/explanation Is this usual? Is remote session the standard support route? Hi, Media Encoder 2021 will just stop once it gets to 100% and need a fix for this ASAP. I'm a youtube video editor so I use media encoder to export multiple videos at once. No crazy settings just Match source - High Bit Rate 1080p 60 videos. A 21 minute video takes 6 mins to get to 100% but then the bar just stays full and doesnt move? I have adequte space on my hard drive and have tried software only and still get the same results. This was never an issue in 2020 but really don't want to have to downgrade back to 2020 as that would be a lot of effort. Hope someone can help

Is there a way to create a workflow where the tape name of the file take automatically his filename ?I can choose that in davinci resolve but I don't see how it could be in media encoder.For the moment I can only do this file by file when I copy the file name into the tape name from my metadata and it's exhausting...

Hi.I'm trying to export an .mp4 from an image sequence (.tif) and add audio to it using the "watch folder" feature in AME. Unfortunately, I haven't had any success.I read that it's possible if the audio file has the same name as the first .tif file, but it's not working for me.Can you tell me if this is even possible using my method? If not, how would you approach this if you wanted to automate the process?Cheers 🙂

Hello, my problem is that the export of a Premiere sequence with growing files source material in XAVC-I 1080p50 via the Media Encoder is very slow (30min sequence in ~12min) as long as the growing file is not yet completed.As soon as you stop the recording of the XAVC-I file and thus finalize the file, the export is much faster (30min sequence in ~3min)The comparison workflow in DNxHD 1080p50 also works perfectly with unfinished growing files (30min sequence in ~3min). Premiere Pro 2024 / Adobe Media Encoder 2024Growing files are created with EVS IPDirectorPremiere sequence settings for both Exportcodecs:DNX 1080p, 50 frames/secPreview: DNX SQ 1080p 50 There are no 50p sequence settings for XAVC-I I'm looking for a “same as source” workflow with growing files for XAVC-I 1080p50 - preferably without reencoding, so that it works as quickly as possible. Where can I look for my mistake?

Hi! For the past month or so muliple users in our studio have been getting this popup error message, "ReferenceError: BridgeTalk is undefined". It typically comes up in the background/behind our apps, as such, it has not been obvious what is triggering the error. We ususally only see it after quitting our applications – After Effects, Premiere, Media Encoder, and occasionally Photoshop / Illustrator. Recently have updated many of the video apps to their latest versions (24.6.1 as of writing), and that hasn't eliminated the error. Does anyone have anyone have any experience what might be triggering? Note, none of us are using Bridge, but I've posted this here because it has "BridgeTalk" in the error. We're all running MacOS 14.5-14.6.1 generally, on Mac Studio M1's Thanks!

So I just bought Creative Cloud and have just started to try to figure out how to use After Effects today.I have imported a movie and added some text animations, and I am trying to export the video to the Media Encoder but I keep getting the following error.AEGP Plugin AEDynamicLInkServer: Adobe Media Encoder is not installed.
