With the older encoder the upload panel was always on the right side (I never needed to move it). Sometime after I upgraded to 2024 the panel disappeared. I haven't done any work in almost a year so now it's just become a problem. i upload to multiple locations. Can't find that panel anywhere and can't find a post that anybody else is missing it (iincluding searching here) fp
Hi there,Just a small request - can we please have the option in Encoder to 'Import into Project' We have this functionality within Premiere, but not in Encoder and I'm not sure why.Would be handy. Thanks,Matty
Since recent updates (can't remember exactly what version) I have an issue sending files to Media Encoder from Premiere. When sending to Media Encoder a custom preset isn't working correctly and captions are consistently not being burnt into exported files. If I export directly from Premiere with our preset I have no issue, but when sending multiple files to media encoder captions are either not burnt in at all, or one file will be burnt in but remaing files won't.Preset selected to send to ME from Premiere. As shown, captions are selected to be burnt in, and if I export with this they appear as expected.Preset once sent to ME. "Burn captions into video" selection has been lost (no longer selected), and even if I manually select it at this point it generally still won't burn them in either. I've tried re-creating the preset but this is also has no effect, nor has re-installing software from a completley clean OS install either.Due to this I'm exporting files one by one,
Hi!When I use Media Encoder to export videos from Premiere Pro, it exports without any audio effects. If I export one by one at Premiere Pro itself, it works fine and all the audio effects are exported. It's frutrating, because I need to export several videos everyday, and exporting one by one is not productive. It happened with me in all versions of AME, both in Mac or Windows computers. I'm using now a laptop with Windows 10, Intel i5 8th Gen, no graphic video card dedicated.
Hello, I’ve been running into an issue with sound effects like mastering or a hard limiter. When exporting through Media Encoder, some videos randomly lose sound effects, which makes it really frustrating to track down the low-volume exports and re-export them manually in Premiere. It’s especially problematic since this can result in accidentally delivering a video to the client with missing or low audio, definitely a problem!!! Has anyone encountered this before or found a reliable solution?
TLDR: Hi. I need this setting to stick with the pre-set when I save the preset. Here is what I'm doing, to many hundreds of file - so it's important that this work and I can export the complete settings for my presets in a backup file. A watch folder has been set up to wait for a video file. (This happens in many many folder, but let's just talk about one.)The video is CROPPED in Media encoder, 4:3, to chop off the sides. The final video is square, with the 4:3 action area in the center of the square, with an overlay covering the blank spots that contains branded info. The CROPPED video has an overlay applied. The final video is EXPORTED to a 1:1 video with audio removed.I use SHUTTER ENCODER to add our branded audio file to every video because Media Encoder wont do this.Currently, when I save the preset, the crop setting seems to vanish and does not appear when I just want to edit a preset. Help! Any suggestions?
We have seen a lot of crashers with the "Insta 360 Reframe" plug-in in our Dashboard lately. I tested with the latest plugin from https://www.insta360.com/de/download/insta360-x3 in("Insta 360 Reframe" V2 build 20) in the standard location on Mac, and it did not crash. Please verify if you have the latest version, and install it correctly in the default location.
The latest version of ME does not launch properly for me. Every first-time I try to open it, (like after not using the program or computer being off for a while or not using ME for a day or so) it errors out saying it can't find my adobe license and can either use in trial mode or quit. After quitting, and launching again, it does find the license and then opens properly. Is this a bug or what? Suggestions? Thanks. version 25.2 build 141.
My project fails to render in Media Encoder 25.3 (Build 73). At encounter of the first clip with stabilizer effect I get an error. In the Premiere Pro 25.3.0 (Build 84), the first frame of the stabilized clip is black, before stabilizing it was not black. Is this a bug in stabilizer or in Media Encoder? Can I rescue the project?Error:------------------------------------------------------------- Kodierungszeit: 00:00:0906/30/2025 02:58:36 PM : Codierung fehlgeschlagen------------------------------------------------------------Fehler beim ExportFehler beim Kompilieren des Films. Hello, I am in Premiere 25.2.3 and Media Encoder 25.2. I have MOGRT files in my Premiere timeline. When I send it to Media Encoder it says Missing Asset and names all of the MOGRT in the timeline. When exporting to Premiere the MOGRT export just fine. After Effects would not open in the newest version so I downgraded to version 24.6 and now it opens, but still no luck getting Media Encoder to export the MOGRT files. These MOGRT files have worked forever in multiple projects. Please help. Hello,I’m having an issue with Adobe Media Encoder. When I try to launch it, I get this error:"The application was unable to start correctly (0xc0000142)."I’ve already tried reinstalling the app, updating Visual C++ Redistributables, and running SFC scan, but the issue persists. Please help me fix this. Thanks in advance!
The Media Encoder 2022 seems to be buggy on my side. I usually select different sections of video and find out that the videos are exporting the same videos that I didn't ask for. Is there some kind of issue with Premiere's version when it comes to transferring the videos to Media Encoder for you guys or is it just bugged on my side? Usually, when I export things in bulk, I don't get this problem but it's been annoying and I have to double-check what actually exported correctly.
If I am doing an H265 Encode I cannot enable hardware encodimg if the Export Audio box is checked. Which seem strange. Version: 2025 v25.3Platform: Mac OS 15.5, Mac Studio 2025 M4 Max Steps To Replicate - Add Video To Queue- Pick HEVC Preset- Go to Export Settitngs- Under the Video Tab Scroll Down to Encoding Settings- Notice Performace is set to Hardware Encoding- Uncheck the Export Audio under the Export Settings - Notice the Performance Changes to Software Encoding - Try To Change to Hardware Encoding - You get an error that it is not supported. Expected:When unchecking the Export Audio box Hardwae Encoding for the video should still be avaliable
If you select several video sources in the program queue and click on change preset settings, a window opens where the timecode is broken at the bottom. The timecode of the longest file is shown, although this was not the case in the 2017 version.Logically, the timecode of the video I clicked on should be shown, even though several are selected.Current version is 25.1.Windows 10 22H2 19045.3570.
Hello,Today I tried to export a video from Premiere using Media Encoder, but unfortunately, Media Encoder won’t open. It gets stuck on the startup screen at the “Loading Queue Media” step.In general, the program doesn’t launch at all—regardless of whether I try to open it from the export window in Premiere or manually. The version I’m using is v25.2, and I’m working on an M3 Pro Mac running macOS Sequoia 15.0.Interestingly, older versions of Media Encoder do launch without any issues. Can anyone help me?Thanks in advance!
Since After Effects was updated to version 25.2.2, every time I send a file to render in Media Encoder I get a failed message. Maybe it has to do with the fact that the latest version of Media Encoder is 25.2 and not 25.2.2 like After Effects? mac proos 15.2 (24C101)3.3 GHz 12-Core Intel Xeon WAMD Radeon Pro Vega II 32 GB96 GB 2933 MHz DDR4
Hi Adobe community, I’m a post supervisor currently managing a global film production where our crew uploads footage remotely to a structured QNAP server. Each camera (GoPro, Drone, two Sony FX3s) drops files into a standardized directory that includes:/WeekXX/SDXX/CamXX/Footage /WeekXX/SDXX/CamXX/Transcodes We're using Media Encoder 2025 to automate transcoding using Watch Folders - but the current implementation is making this unworkable. Here’s why:________________Major Problems with Watch Folders in AME 2025 1. Original files are moved into nested timestamped foldersAME creates a folder structure like:/Source/YYYY-MM-DD_HHMMSS/This moves every input file from the ‘Footage’ folder into a new subdirectory after rendering - which is unacceptable.Result: Our ingest and conform workflows break because files have been relocated without consent. 2. No option to disable this behaviorThere’s no toggle or preference to keep source files untouched.Post-Render Actions used t
After upgrading Creative Cloud to 2021.VST plugins are bypassed when rendering videos from Premiere Pro. However, if exported directly from Premiere Pro, VST effects are applied, no problem.
Hello,I want to render a movie with subtitle into DCP format using Media Encoder. If I render in H264 format, I get the mp4 file with an .srt file, when I open the .mp4 file with VLC, I can include or not the subtitle, eveything works fine. When I render in DCP format, I do not find the subtitle file into de folder.dcp wich contains only video and audio along with the various XML control files. What am I wrong doing ?Thanks, Frank.
when i load media encoder i get a error window 'adobe media encoder has encountered an unexpected error and cannot continue … the load window was sitting at AEXD ... if i the unload and reinstall the app everything is ok … for that session I did a support chat and i feel had a poor experience ... the first call was disconnected with no explaination after asking me to re-name folder 'common' did not work. The second call i was almost immmediately asked to load software and do a remote session. My backgound has been computer security ... i was unhappy to leap straight into this option without looking for known errors etc first ... again this call was disconnected with no warning/explanation Is this usual? Is remote session the standard support route? If so I can build a 'support user' to limit their access. However, in a flash of inspiration I found the solution ... Due to my security background i am reluctant to give applications, under macOS, access to di
Hi, Media Encoder 2021 will just stop once it gets to 100% and need a fix for this ASAP. I'm a youtube video editor so I use media encoder to export multiple videos at once. No crazy settings just Match source - High Bit Rate 1080p 60 videos. A 21 minute video takes 6 mins to get to 100% but then the bar just stays full and doesnt move? I have adequte space on my hard drive and have tried software only and still get the same results. This was never an issue in 2020 but really don't want to have to downgrade back to 2020 as that would be a lot of effort. Hope someone can help
I am facing an error issue during rendering on my Adobe encoder in version 25.3.0 (Mac os)
Hi, i have a problem. When rendering the project from Premiere, AME suddenly stops and a dialog like this appearsplease tell me to solve this.thx
I'm trying to export .mxf files for braodcast. Exporting from Premiere Pro 25.3 works fine. However, in AME (also 25.3) I am only getting the 708 caption track and not the 608. I'm using the same export preset in both programs. In both programs, I see 608 and 708 caption tracks on the export settings page. I found that if I check the "Import sequences natively" option, AME will export both caption tracks, but that causes a bunch of media to become offline. Media that is online in Premiere pro. I believe this to be a bug, but any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
