Adobe Scan

I am scanning papers with Acrobat android app. File names are in Hebrew which is a Right to Left languange.When i visit Adobe cloud i see that file names are in wrong direction. Imagine reading: Hello as  olleH.Is there a setting i can change?I am using Chrome.

When I log in with my active adobe account, the app refuses to upload any scans. It just says waiting to upload. I am having this issue on multiple devices. I created a temporary account and logged in with that and it works fine. It also works on the other devices. I log back into my main account and it again refuses to upload. I have tried all the troubleshooting steps listed in this forum and in the faq. I have reinstalled the app multiple times. I have logged out and in multiple times. There is clearly an issue with my account that needs to be addressed.

I have scanned 10 documents using the Adobe Scan app.  These files take up 52.4 MB when they are viewed in the Adobe Document Cloud. However, when I check the size of the Adobe Scan app on my iPhone, it is taking up 409 MB (68.4 MB for the App Size and 340.4 MB for the Documents & Data).Why do 52.4 MB of pdf files take up 340.4 MB on my iPhone?

Does the text recognition function sends data to Adobe?I was wondering about privacy. Are my data sent over the internet for character recognition?

I spent time in another state scanning yesterday. I was prompted to save scanned pages as a pdf and I did. When I made it home to actually view the document: the scanned pages are gone. I’ve signed in to cloud.acrobat on 3 devices and the pages are NO where to be found. I’ve used the application successfully in the past. I need the documents retrieved and yes I was connected to a good internet connection. Please advise with options other than what’s already been tried.

I scanned documents last week with Adobe Scan on my Ipad when I did not have the compulsion to log in to the App.  However when I opened the App today I have to login to the App as there is no guest login option.  As a result I cannot see the scanned files in this Adobe Scan App on my Ipad.  How do I retrieve these scanned documents?  Many thanks for your help.

my gosh I must be stupid. I have an adobe account. I downloaded adobescan on my iphone. i scanned some files that I know are in the cloud. Now I'm sitting at my iMac and want to access the scans that I took on my phone. Where the heck is the cloud?????

I'm unable to find scans from years ago, only ones from 2018 onward. I have looked both online and on my phone. Anyone know what could have happened? And most importantly, how to get those files?Thanks!

Is there any way to categorize (e.g. sorting into folders) or tag (e.g. similar to Gmail labels) scans? It'd be so useful since currently it's a pain to find receipts from different stores or for different purposes (e.g. dining, entertainment). Thanks a lot!

I had saved 2018 tax return on 2/13/19. It shows there’s 1.8 mb but when I try to open it, it says I have to open it in Yahoo mail because there was an error or something. When I try to open it there’s nothing there? HELP

I upgraded from an IPhone 6S to an IPhone 7 this week and:1. Adobe Scan no longer creates files although I can apparently upload photos to the app. It simply doesn't make and save a file when I select "save"2. All my scans have disappeared and there is nothing in the history or files list.Please help!

How do I stop scans from annoyingly re-cropping themselves after I save them?

I scanned 10 images. Cropped and rotated them to be "portrait" orientation. When I print to PDF and save to local storage the saved PDF has been recropped. Graphs and charts are flipped or cropped out.

I have scanned a few documents. Scan was able to pull text out of the images (I can copy out of them) but when I try to search terms that I know are in the documents I always get "No results found." Is this just me, or is this common to all versions of the app?

I have the same problem on iPhone. I have scanned, seconds after saving my scan disappeared. Where is my scan?Alois

The app is brilliant and used to be extremely useful— until now. After scanning a few lenghty documents back to back, the app started crashing horribly. It freezes and crashes within 3-4 seconds of opening the app every time. I tried restarting the phone but nothing has helped so far. Can this issue please be fixed? I’m quite satisfied with the app otherwise but I cannot even open the app anymore. Thanks.

After a good scan sometimes I receive a freezing site in the app-site. Then, there is no other possibility than to delete the app and reload it and start all over again. Adobe can do better than this.And in addition to that: the doc scanner technology should receive another very important functionality: to separate a double sided scan from books into two separate sites. Please learn from Fine Reader OC Pro and make this app perfect!But nevertheless a big compliment from my side: the framing of the sites and the speed between the automatically scanning is very very good and have no other product on the market which comes even close.

I selected some scans I don't needed anymore and wanted to deleted them. I just ticked 5 or 6 ones and when I pressed "delete" and looked if it worked, all the scans from mid July 2018 till today were gone, I guess they are also deleted but I don't know why. Is there any chance to contact adobe to get them back?Some really important documents where under the ones who got deleted. I hope anyone can help.Have a nice day,Clara

I  want to add Georgian (ქართული) in text recognition.

I would like to use the Adobe Scan. I want to save it on my local device. I do not want it in the cloud. Is this possible and if so how. Tthank you.

Hello,Until recently, when using autocapture, Adobe Scan asked if the picture "looks good" before saving the file and moving on to the next picture. Now it just take the picture without asking whether it "looks good," and moves on. Is there a way to bring back the "looks good" feature?Simon

There is no option that if added, Adobe Scan will get even better. An option to save the edited and cropped .jpg files should be added.
