I'm not sure what I'm looking at but I'll assume this is in LR on your iPad - about 100% - context helps, at least capture the LR interface. It's not pixelated - it is full of color noise and a little chromatic abberation around the top of the helmet. You should be cleaning up noise at 100% - that is how the image will be viewed.  ... Not sure why the instructor chose to use artboards - have they been using artboards throughout the course? Just curious. They want you to generate a scene in each artboard for summer and winter with the backpack - yes? I can't see your layers panel but you should be able to select just the backpack layer and generate a background. The lesson is teaching gen fill and wants the backpack to fit into the scene. You can also isolate the backpack on it's layer - just delete the white background and then do a gen fill. A screenshot of your layers panel with the artboards open to reveal all layers would help. It's very confusing for beginners to mix artboards and layers. You should be able to generate background or just do a generate. In my opinion, with the new harmonize feature coming soon (currently in beta) you don't need to generate background, just create the scene with generate and then you will be able to harmonize the backpack in there. This is a feature - I use it all the time after I make a text layer and I want to make another one - so I can set up my text BEFORE I type it, otherwise I accidentally change the text I just created. Or sometimes I want no layers selected so the next layer I create automatically goes to the top of the stack. This is not something I ever want to change and I guarantee I'm not alone. You can't just click a button and hope to make this work. You need to place the image of the person where you want it on top of the car image. You can try using the new Harmonize feature in Photoshop Beta to blend the images together. I'm not clear on where you want the person in the car image. Learning some traditional Photoshop editing will go a long way for you to make this look they way you want.  ... View more

You have brush stokes and want to change the colors - a screenshot would help, include your layers panel. Are the brush strokes in their own layers? I would use a clipping mask above the layer set to color with a solid color in it... Create a colid color layer, set blend mode to color and clip to the layer to recolor.  ... View more

I would think this would fall under copyright like artwork - you can't outright claim something is your own and sell it. If they are using the brush and making slight alterations, that would be a copyright issue. There are so many brushes out there for free and it's really easy to make them, I don't understand why anyone would bother reselling existing brushes. I downloaded the file - yes you have everything set up correctly. Select the QR code layer and just invert - cmd/ctrl  + i to invert the color from black to white. You ahve a tiny square in there that is white and will turn black, just delete it, erase it or whatever. then do the exact same thing to teh IG logo layer and save it all as a png file.  ... Are the pixels already isolated on a layer so you have an alpha channel? The color replacement brush is NOT the answer. You just need to get the pixels on their own layer and then you can simply invert the colors or fill them with white. It's quite a few steps to type out. Is the current png transparent?  ... View more
