Adobe XD

Hi, after a recent update to Windows 10, I can't seem to open any XD files. They start to open, pause for 10 seconds or so with a blank screen and then the app simply closes. I can open the app itself though, just not any files. The files worked before the windows update. I have tried updating XD, uninstalling and reinstalling and have looked, but not found any answers online.Any help much appreciated. cheers chris

By contract requirements I can't publish material on third party cloud.Since Adobe XD cross file components will only work with if published I can't basically make use of that feature. Which is very problematic to work with design system development for me right now in this context.Is there any way to make it work offline only? Like, publish locally in my Creative Cloud app or something and not uploading it?Thank you in advance.     {Title Renamed by MOD}

I'm a UI/UX Designere. Adobe XD is a PAID product and you have yet to deliver basic features. Especially the cloud problem. It's not like you've never developed similar software before, you've been doing it for years you know the drill.  It's been an error for several days. In the previous version, the cloud and library stopped working, so I couldn't collaborate in XD. so, I re-installed a new version, but it's in the same state. and now, some of the important files from the previous version disappeared in the cloud. I'm Korean, and the Korea Customer Center is not solving anything. It takes a few days to ask your headquarters and solve it. I'm about to release an app. What are you going to do with my lost file? When trying to create a component with multiple states (for example this colour wheel), I added states to the default state component where each number takes to a different state (represented by the numbers in the component properties) The states are not recognizing the interactions, also, if I delete the element and simply copy paste the element with applied states, it does not work. It used to work before, so this is a downgrade. Please add it back. I have to add both PC and 3 different gamepad controllers for each of those numbers, this is very frequent to me. You also could make it smarter for gamepads either, making those layouts automatic when you dont link them.    <Title renamed by moderator>

I have an issue with updating an existing XD link. When I updated it today some of the images dissapeared. The days before I didn't have problem with that. I've tried to group, ungroup, switch layers, restart XD a thousand times, place the images again and nothing...   Does anybody know what's going on and how to fix that? Hi, can you tell what is wrong with it? If i click on arrow, selected text dissapeard. So i cant made this part of text bold, italic or something else. Thx a lot.IK

We created a library with ui components to be used in our team. For some reason the componets don't update anymore if we do a change to the original component (e.g line width on buttons) Is this conected to that a document now need to create it's own library ? 

I have a strange issue regarding a shared library file. I am the owner of the XD file, and untill recent no issue with sharing the Library when needed. Now I get inactive buttons for share and update, with error message: You don´t have edit access to the library published from this document. Ask the owner to give you edit access.Help? - I am the owner of the file. Why will it not update?Tried to logg off and on again, restarting XD, updating to latest version etc etc. Still no luck.

I have a vertical menu bar that is hidden on the left of the screen, I want the user swipe from left to right to show the menu bar then when the user is done swipe the vertical menu bar from right to left to hide from the screen. Any help ThanksRob

Is it possible to change XD links we have from Published to Private? We don't have original XD file of some file.Why there is only option to Delete Published files.. why we can't set a Password or turn them Private!?For many years, still a waiting for such an important basic feature. Thank you

Needing to use some Adobe stock images in my XD file but the CC Library is telling me "something went wrong...". Have tried the followingresfreshed the CC Library desktop app (windows)Restarted XDRestarted my computer  

After Update 44 and migrating linked assets to libraries, clicking linked assets freezes XD. I can't do any work because I have to wait several minutes for XD to unfreeze. I literally can go away, make a cuppa and come back and it's still not letting me click anything. Then when it's ready, I can suddenly click something but if it's an asset that linked the whole process starts over again. I can't update the linked assets or replace them with the newly published assets from the library. 

My XD version is updated to version 44, however my colleague with same configration and ios vesion is not getting the update  due to which we are unable to work on common cloud files. Any solution for this?   <Title renamed by moderator>

Hi learned people,I'm almost having a mental breakdown. I found out XD had launched a feature to flip images (along y-axis, etc.), so I updated my XD. After updating I've lost a lot of work I'd done in my files. While the files are there, a lot of work I'd done in past several months has been completely deleted - like it's nowhere (creative cloud, deleted files, etc.). My published links still show the work and haven't changed, just like my XD MOBILE app which wasn't affected from the updated desktop app.I need a way to restore my files to as they were before the update. I don't even want the update or the new flip feature. Has anyone faced this issue or has a solution to this?Thanks a lotAmit Seetha[Moderator: e-mail removed. Hello, I have an issue with share links in Adobe XD. When I try to update the share links "development" it stopped at 50% and noticed an error 44:15.I worked on this file for several months and this is the first time I see this kind of problem.The 2 others links (view and show) are OK and I can update them. It occurs just after I try to update and lost my Internet network for 3 min.But now my network is OK and the error still appear. I try with another network, and read the officials advices for this kind of problem but I can't delete some artboards as mentionned because I need them all for user testing at work. And I don't understand the last part about create a new file and link the artboards between the 2 files...is that even possible ? Thank you for your help.Hélène

I added a coworker's company email that works in a different country than me. He also has a separate Adobe subscription from my own, but Adobe XD wouldn't let us coedit, saying we didn't have the permissions (see screenshot). It only worked when he used his personal email. What's going on and how do we get around it so he can work from his business email?

As some of you know Adobe decided that we needed Indivitual accounts and Business accounts, Im one of the lucky ones to get 2 accounts with the same email address. Problem: From within XD with my INDIVIDUAL account, it's now impossible to invite a user on their INDIVIDUAL account. Eg. Let's say a user called Mike has email mike@acme.com, now ACME pays for the XD subscription via CC for Teams / Business for him and all the other designers within ACME. When I invite from my INDIVIDUAL account (me@acme.com) this user (mike@acme.com) the invites ends up in his business account. Same thing if mike@acme.com invites me@acme.com I dont see the invites and dont have access to these files. HOWEVER if I log out and log back in and choose BUSINESS account then I see all the invites.  PS. Using the BUSINESS account for working is not an option for us yet as all our files and libraries and everything is within our individual accounts, and I can't move the files fro

I've just spent weeks preparing to migrate my linked assets to a library only to find that several links to said library are broken (i.e. appearing as red links) and that the library isn't updating even though it says it has and that XD freezes when I touch a linked asset.   My setup: MacBook Pro 15-inch Big Sur, v. 11.6 XD v. 44.0.12.7 x64, Creative Cloud Sync 4.21.0.14   I created my library by making everything in the source document local. Then I published my library. I did this all by D-Day (21 SEP '21).   I opened a document that uses those components. I saw a notification at the bottom that said the document had linked assets that had been updated to use the library (or similar message). Some of them show as blue links that need updating, some show as normal links (i.e. grey links), and some show as broken links (i.e. red links).   Why the red links when some of those were brand new components created in the source library doc (as opposed to ones that already

Hi Adobe Team,My Team members are not able to access the Prototype link, even i sent them a invite also seperately to see the pubish link. At certain point of resizing (or size) the layer priority get's messed up on canvas.Objects which are on the very bottom in Layer Tree overlay other objects on Canvas. Holding Shift and resizing the Group of objects in given file will show you the problem. Cannot upload the XD file!"The attachment's xdlayerserror.xd content type (application/octet-stream) does not match its file extension and has been removed."
