After Effects

After effect updating AE to 25.01, it keeps giving errors and crashing, I can't do anything, I can't render. I'm about to go crazy, please someone help me, I deleted and reinstalled it many times but the problem didn't change.      

After updating AE to 25.0.1, I can't change any text to another font in the AE project file.I used for my name in the AE file a different font than other names in the same font, but since 25.0.1 I've error messages when I want to change any fonts. I've installed these fonts correctly on my pc and in the older versions I don't have these problems.I've tried to downgrade to version 25.0 but the problems are still there after downgrading AE.How can I fix this problem? Do I need to reinstall AE?

I installed after effects from Creative Cloud and was eager to use it, but I kept getting the same message that said the app couldn't continue because of the CEP suite. I tried reinstalling more than once, and I still get the same issue. I also tried changing the permission on the app, and it didn't change a thing!! Can someone please tell me what to do? And if there's no solution, how can I cancel my yearly subscription without a fee?

This has happened to two projects I'm working on. They are not very large or intricate projects, but once the project file size exceeds 560 kb, after effects is not longer able to open them. Crash occurs immedieatly on startup. Smaller project files can be opened, however even autosaves of these projects cannot open if it is over 560 kb.I've tried reinstalling AE, rolling it back to a previous version, clearing the cache, changing the size of the cache, changing the location of the cache, and even recovering the project with disk drill. Nothing changes the state of the problem.I'm running AE 25.2 but have also tried 25.1 and 25.0. I'm working in a Windows 10 environment with an AMD Ryzen 7 1700X Eight-Core Processor, 32 GB of Ram, and a NVIDIA 4080 Super.I'd like to be able to open these projects again as they're almost ready for export. If they're corrupted, I'd like to recover them if possible. At the bare minimum, I'd like to make sure this doesn't happen again so I can actually use

Hi, I have applied some color control on a character's eye. Now I want to precomp it and duplicate for another eye. But When I precomp all the eye layers' color effects are gone. what is the best way to solve this?  I need help. Please guide me. Thank you. 

 Just updated my macbook pro to Monterey, I have deleted "AE Juice" Plug-ins but unfortunatley still doesnt work, any idea what i should do?  

Hello everyone,My selection of "side B" limits the line to the square frame.In my opinion, the "side options" area limits it. How do you make them larger?     

The mask I created has a feathered edge. The fill that is generated has a hard edge. Why am i not getting the feathered edge on the fill?  

I just got adobe after effects today and im having trouble adding rotation and position under the same video. What happens is that I press P for position and then I press R for rotation and rotation replaces position, I want to put rotation and postion both under each other and not to be replaced, thank you

Hi, I have this error. So, I reinstall the Maxon and Redgiant. I've updated all things - After Effects, Maxon and my Mac. But, I still can't figure out how I can resolve this problem. Does anyone have the same issue as me and have any solution?

Hi, I’m trying to edit a video that was filmed on an iPhone. When I import it into After Effects, the colors look very different from the original video – they appear much cooler and not as accurate. I’ve tried adjusting the colors manually in the edit, but it doesn’t really help. I think the issue might be related to the export settings or color profile. How can I fix this?

How can I make a white solid in the OCIO color space? Currently, the color is not white. It looks almost gray. See my attached screenshots. Both whites are #FFFFFF.

Hello everyone,  I have a big issue I have been trying to solve. mostly workflow related  I am doing a 3D animation and editing in AE woith many elements to do post-production on: facade, floor, glass, etc For a smoother file layout and workflow I don't want thousands of layers with a set matte, so I thought to put all adjustment layers for each element on a precomp and then MASK THE PRECOMP ONLY.Most of my layers have blending modes such as COLOR DODGE or SOFT LIGHT. This works with perfectly with COLLAPSE TRANFORMATIONS on, UNTIL I apply the mask to limit those adjustment to the area that I want them in. At this point I loose all blending modes and adjustments. Is there any solution you can think of?

We've been building Adobe export plugins for many years and this went fairly well. This week I was confronted that our plugin didn't want to run anymore, didn't happen always as it seemed to be related to being built on a computer with a more recent version of Microsoft Visual Studio installed and only in release builds. What we observe is an runtime error with a locking a std::mutex crashing Adobe. After some trial and error we found that when we 'disable' the runtime dlls from Microsoft from the Application Support directory of After Effects the issue goes away - as Adobe would be using the system installed runtime dlls in that case.I'm not sure why Adobe decided to ship runtime dllls next to their binaries and not rely on a minimum installed version of these which I've always been advised as the proper way to do things. Anyhow it seems that this blocks us from moving foward to a newer version of Visual Studio as that would be blocking creating plugins for Adobe.&

La prévisualtion ne fonctionne pas, aucune image n'est lue. Only when I click what’s shown in the picture does the video play completely smoothly without any stuttering, and I have to do this every time I want to play a video.Do you have any ideas on how to fix this?My PC specs:64GB RAM 3200MHz DDR4Ryzen 5 5600XRTX 3060I have allocated 170GB on a separate partition for cache files, but everything—including the system and files—is on the same drive. I should add that it doesn’t matter whether I set the playback quality to 1/4, 1/2, or full— it stutters the same way at every resolution

Why does nobody give an answer to why this is happening, it must be wide spread.  I am using a 3090 and 2080ti drivers updated, after effects is the latest. why does it say initializing GPU every damn time i open up AE, and it takes minutes to finish. this needs to be fixed. it never used to do this, it's only through updates that this has happened.

Hi,I just updated after effects (2017.2 release - 14.2.1.34) and I'm noticing that I no longer see the anchor point and bounding box in the layers, the mask and shape toggle are active and responsive as i can see the masks but I can't see the anchor point or the bounding points of any layer. it briefly comes up when I press Y and drag around in the comp but I can't change it's position. The only way I can change the position of the anchor point is by double clicking on the layer to open it and there the anchor point shows up like usual, but in the comp view the anchor and bounding box no longer show. Is there a setting that changes??
