Why Adobe Ae do It restrict for processor power of my desktop, when the information in the word is very light before new technology until 3-4 years ago is usefull for every coputer and device?

Hi i have problems with the following short cuts: []Moving In or Out Point to timeline indicator position option+[]Trimming In or Out Point to timeline indicator position  I don't have the [] on my German keyboard. Can I assign new shortcuts? I don't find these two commands in the shortcuts menu in after effects to assign them new shortcuts. Thanks 🙏

I've been having this error of the script not being able to find the file (shortcut files or .lnk) even though it is at the location. Hi there, There is an important question for me that I want to ask. For example, I used a 3D TV model in glb format in After Effects. But can I embed the video in the TV into the glb model via After Effects? Or how to do this? Also, in the gltf model, I think the texture comes separately. How to use gltf in after effects? Can the textures be added to the model in After effects?

Hello insane coders.I am finalizing a commercial purpose script and am trying to decide which is the best marketplace for sales.1 - My first option is Envato, since it's the only one that has its data open and I can see that there are people actually making money there.2 - I wonder if any of you sell through the Adobe Exchange platform. If so, do you actually make a profit? For despite having 90% of profit from sales to the producer, sales volume is unknown.3 - Aescripts does not tell the producer% or the sales volume, could anyone tell me?4 - Is there any other option even better than the ones I quoted above?I hope this inquiry helps me and also helps other coders decide how best to make money from our hard work.Thank you.

Whenever I am masking and curve the mask by clicking, holding, then dragging, I can't make a straight line after that point. After the curved line, I click to make another point and it becomes curved automatically. How do I fix this?? I want it to be straight after. 

I was editing this morning and everything was fine. I take a break and come back to find out that I cannot move the keyframes on my clips. My clips are not locked and I've never had this issue before. When I first add a keyframe to an original clip, I am able to move it momentarily until they 'lock'. After they 'lock' I am not able to edit them unless I add a new keyframe entirely, this makes editing very frustrating and tedious. I can only edit keyframes on nulls and adjustment layers, but when I easy ease them and edit the graph, they move all out of position. I've tried researching the topic but had no luck, I am not sure what to do. I've heard it might be a plug-in issue but the only plug-in I have is twitch, and I have been using it for a very long time without any issues. I edit on AE2024, 

Hello! I recently downloaded AE Beta 24.2 to try bringing in some 3D models from Blender, but it doesn't seem to be working. The models do not appear on the screen, although I can see them there. I found that the advanced 3D option is missing. Could you please let me know which version includes the advanced option mode, or do you have any recommendations on this matter? Thank you!

Hi community. I have sent an AE file, as collected files to another friend. And she's telling me that after effects is giving her a warning that Optic Glow is missing. But I have removed it from the AE file, and have replaced it with After effects Glow effect.  I have gone through the 5 layers, and Optic Glow is deleted. no where to be used on any layers.why is the missing effect still coming up? Thank you.

I'm doing an animation involving moving from panel to panel in a comic strip, replacing the comic panels with video. The master comp is 1920x1080 (which will be the size of the final output) and I've got a 4000x2960 precomp nested within it which holds the actual comic page. I'm using the SureTarget plugin for camera control, which uses the anchor point of the target layer to detemine where the camera goes. I'm animating the anchor point of the precomp to get the camera to move from panel to panel. I'd like to be able to play with the Bezier handles of the motion path so that some of the camera moves follow a U-shaped path rather than a straight line (such as when the camera moves from the rightmost panel on a line to the leftmost on the line below), but I can't seem to find any way to make the motion path visible for the anchor point parameter. Any suggestions? I've definitely got motion paths switched on in the View Options. (AfterEffects 24.6.4, MacOS)

I have just bought a brand new MICROSOFT 14" Surface Pro OLED, Copilot+ PC - Snapdragon X Elite ideapad I am trying to download after effects, however, it will not install.  On my creative cloud, it only shows the online beta version (which is not what I want). When I use the browser to download the app, it downloads the set up file.  After double clicking on the set up file (+ trying run as administrator), it just opens my creative cloud again but doesn't install. what can I do?

Where can i install a 23.x version of after effects, i need to install it bc my installed plugin says its not compatible with my M3 mac, only with intel mac. 

Hi there, I'm developing a simple tool for After Effects that feeds a multi line textbox with some log of the entire process. This same log can also be exported in a separate txt file later.Is it possible to use different color lines on a multi line text box? My idea is using like red for errors, gray for info and green for success, for example. I tried many times and I'm not coming up with anything. Almost sure it is impossible, but I wanted to hear from you wizards here 🙂 Thanks in advance.

hi, this is my first time downloading and using a shake preset pack and i'm having some issues when it comes to the clips. whenever i apply a shake preset (vertical, horizontal, rotational) you name it, it always repositions my clip so the only way i can use the shake is to re-edit the entire preset to actually be centered in the clip. the shakes themselves work fine, but they're in between motion tiles where the clip is barely being shown. for example, here in this clip i put on a rotation shake and the shake is happening between motion tiles. i followed all of the requirements needed to use the shake, like the fact that the shake only works in 1280 x 720. i have that. but idk why this is happening. in after effects cc 2019 the centered position is 640 x 360. and idk why this is happening. if additional screenshots are needed and more information i'd be happy to provide.

Hello!! My bounding box has suddenly disappeared. This has happened for all my layers. The handles are always visible, and the box is visible once I drag it outside the preview window. But, even when it's outside the preview window, the box doesn't do its job. It's kind of as if it's just there for show, and only the handles work. My layer controls are activated on both the comp and the view tab. I've tried restarting it, and it did nothing. Below are some screenshots! Any help is appreciated. I'm working in quite an old version (AE 2020), so if it's simply a glitch because it's out of date, then that's fine.

"Advanced 3D is not supported by the current hardware" error when starting up AE Beta 24.3 (Build 14). I'm on Windows 10 with the latest Nvidia Studio Drivers 551.23 on An AMD Threadripper System. Is a 3090 really not supported? It's one of the best cards out there still and has been out for quite a while now.

I've been getting multiple NaN pixels lately since updating to version 25.1, with a normal workflow that I have used for years. I cannot clearly find what's causing the problem, since it randomly appears and disappear. I'm just getting random NaN pixels that expand masively when blured, etc. From my brief experimentation, I believe the appartion of NaNs has something to do with the "Repeat Edge Pixels" feature of some effects (such as Minimax, Channel Blur or Fast Box Blur), but sometimes it persists after removing all that. Sometimes I just hide any layer and the NaN pixels disappear, but the layers by themselves do not seem to have any NaN pixels. Sometimes I just add a Levels effect to a Black Solid layer I'm using as a Matte and the NaNs disappear. It's very hard to pin. Unfortunately, I do not have a comp I can share because I'm working for a client and in a very tight schedule, but I wanted to report the bug in case this is happening to other people and hoping we can ge

So I'm re-posting in the hope that it might get fixed one day. The issue occurs when trying to use PosterizeTime effect in a composition with a frame rate of 23.976I have set up a test file with frame counters.
