After Effects

When I edit the video from Google Earth Studio for the first time, I cut it and mark it with boris mocha ai in the effect, and I don't do anything like that. What is the reason and solution?

 I installed the After Effects in 25.0 English (International) version.However, I was very disappointed that Dropdown Menu Control, which has had the same problem for a long time, still has not been fixed for a bug that does not express non-English languages.I checked this bug from version 24.1 and reported it to my company's adobe account.However, After Effect is not fixing this issue until a new version comes out.This is creating a huge problem with distributing presets for team distribution, but Adobe doesn't seem to be interested in speakers from other non-English countries.

whenever i import ai format image to after effects the quality of the image decreases significantly, and i dont know how to fix it by turning the rasterization on it helped a bit but still not the desired quality

Hello there,I wanted to synchronize my old After Effects CS 6 to 2024 version (I'm using win 11). Unfortunately there seems to be an issue during instalation (Error code 127). I checked some YT videos with sollution, check almost each possible support forums but nothing worked 😞With help of my friend we noticed there is issue with Cinema 4D inside of the Synchornization file. We think installer is unable to unpack it so it blocks the whole instalation each time at 76%, but we are not 100% sure about that. Maybe some of you guys had a same problem?Please if someone know how to fix that I would be so thankful. After a month I'm out of ideas.Below I'm sending error code from Sync and Cinema 4D was the only file we couldnt copy from Sync file. I tried to install it as a separated application but adobe still wants to install it as a plug in.Is there a chance to get Synchronization file without Cinema 4D installer?

Instale el PlugIn de mister horse animation composer en mi AE v25 y me tira error y no me deja abrir el programa. Me pasa en otras versiones también. Ya probé desinstalando ambas cosas y no funciona. También probé generando una restauración a una hora en específico antes de instalar ambos programas y sigue sin funcionar. Ya Nose que mas hacer

Sometimes, when working in after effects for a while, all of a sudden the import and save functions simply stop working. Auto-save would help, but not if you're working on something you haven't saved yet yourself. Extremely frustrating since I can't see any other way than quitting AE with no way of saving my work and having to start all over - which can be extremely upsetting. I know - save your work as you start it so that auto-save saves you.. this souldn't be on me though. You guys need to introduce the ability of saving a .aep file through media encoder or enable a secondary auto-save function that works with unsaved files. I don't even care about the bug that much - programs can malfunction... just give me some redundancy that allow me to not start from scratch.I would use bad words in this thread if I could.

Hello! I'm having issues with my After Effects eating up all my memory on my computer. I was having this issue and then got a new computer with 32 GB of memory and it's still eating up everything. I'm using the Roto Brush tool and inititally it was crashing on me whenever I used it, but now with the new computer it's just throwing me a warning saying there's not enough memory. I tried messing with the Memory & Performance settings and it didn't do anything to help. I'm fairly new to After Effects, so I don't know if this is user error or if it's a system thing. Is there something I should be doing differently? Thanks!

Unstable releases- I am seriously considering not updating to new versions at least until 2 revisions.

I'm looking to see if a layer has an effect, and if not apply it. How to do check if a layer in a comp has a specific effect applied i.e. "camera lens blur", and if it's not there, apply it with specific values? Alternately, if the effect is applied, change the value to a desired value? (I think, I can figure this part out once the first part is answered, but this is where I'm headed) As always, thanks for your input.

The problem started just today. When I try to open the Mister Horse plugin panel, the program crash, every single time. I tried to uninstall AE, the MH plugin, update, etc. but nothing works. Any of you guys have some idea of how to solve this issue? Thanks.

Lasers, dinosaurs and space VFX are cool, but every so often you need to roll up your sleeves to add effects that hide problematic elements in a shot. Reflective surfaces are a great way for production equipment to wind up in a scene which ruins the illusion. Recently a friend of mine had such an issue and asked if there was anything I could do to hide a light's reflection in a painting. To make matters worse, one of the scene's actors moves infront of the reflection!   Follow along with me as I use the included Boris Mocha AE planar tracker to isolate the painting. Hello friends and Happy New Year!I would like to ask something that has been asked many times but there is a detail which has not been answered.My issue is the following:As you know, there is the well known rolling credits jittering issue. There is the flickering issue, as well. I know that you must not use 100% white font color. But even if I use 90% or 80% or 70%, there is still a little flickering going on. I cannot go under 70% because in my credit roll there are some words that are less "bold" than others and when the font color is at 70%, they look two dark.The other thing is the well known issue of using an expression so the scrolling can be smoother, without jittery font edges.The thing with this expression, though, is that you cannot easy ease the scrolling speed at the end. As a result, the credit scroll stops very abruptly.The abrupt stop is may main issue. The expression which forces the animation move every pixel (so you avoid subpixeling issues) is useless to me if I can'

Hello I'm a beginner editor and I've encountered a very annoying problem that I can't solve. When I use the Pen Tool to make my path, it doesn't seem to round, but when I attach an object to the path to move it, it moves around the curve correctly. It's visually very tiring, can it be fixed? The picture shows how angular the path is, but it shouldn't be like that. Regards and please help 😕😕 

Barteldes Small is from Adobe Fonts, it displays correctly in other Adobe programs but not in After Effects.  Here is what it is supposed to look like in Illustrator: Here is what it looks like in After Effects: It looks like only the capitatal letters are being effected. I hav tried removing and readding the font family back again, and I do not have any other fonts named Barteldes on my computer, also it is an Adobe font.  Not sure why this is happening. Thanks!

I've been experiencing crashes in Adobe After Effects for the last two months, happening every 2-3 minutes uses or even more frequently. I reached out to Adobe support several times, but they couldn't fix it. They uninstalled Microsoft Visual C++ and updated my Nvidia driver, but the problem returned shortly after. I thought it might be a Windows issue, so I did a clean install of Windows 11, but the crashes still happen. I can't get any work done, and Adobe hasn't been able to resolve it. What should I do?My PC specs:- Laptop: Asus Scar 16 (2024 model)- Processor: Intel Core i9-14900HX 2.20 GHz- RAM: 32 GB- Graphics: Nvidia RTX 4080- Storage: 2 TB SSD

In my other laptop it was working fine.This is my new laptop with a NVIDIA 1050Ti. When I am making a new composition, no preview is shown. There is nothing even when I am adding an image.I tried reinstalling it. I fiddled with some settings. CAPS lock is off. I also tried porting the settings from old laptop.Still not working.

How do I get back my " add" button in After Effect, the contents does not have the add button next to it, and I seem not to know what to do... help 

Hello Community... why are my Puppet Pin tool Animation take a new position while "the man is running".. As you can see in the video for example the leg in the backround is going in another position even when there is no puppet pin frame point. I may can not explain it well but please take a look at my uploaded video so you know what I mean.. I animated it yesterday and it worked well firstly. I tried also to pre compose da legs an arms but even in the composition the animation glitch is the same.  please help 

Hi, im working with large footage, as you can see the media has a scale of 4608 x 3164 but when i pre compose it it looks squaseh but still says that the dimensions are correct as in the media, even when i create the compositon directly from the footage it squases it, please help haha, why is this happening?, this is the third shot im workong on and it looks like from here on out this "error" is happening in almost all my pre-comps.

Salve a tutti!Sono entrata da poco nel magico mondo della creative cloud ed ho cominciato ad installare i vari softwares sul mio mac. Pochi minuti fa ho completato l'installazione di After Effect e, controllando nel Lanchpad, ho scoperto di aver contemporaneamente scaricato Cinema 4D (non licenziato, quindi in versione trial). Il problema è che io non ho nè visitato alcun sito Maxon nè ho rischiesto alcuna installazione del software suddetto.Domanda: è una sorta di pubblicità inclusa in after effect o, non so come, la Maxon si 'infiltra' nella creartive cloud? Attendo con ansia risposta illuminante 🙂Katia

A certain file keep crashing when I scrub the timeline or sometimes even after it's immediately opens.  

My AE comp renders as a full-length video of a black screen (with audio, when enabled). Comp plays fine in RAM preview, and I've tried all types of codecs and disabling RAM intensive effects, though I'm working on a quad-core i7 macbook pro with 8 gigs of RAM, so that shouldn't be a problem. Have followed tutorials to a T, and haven't found any help elsewhere online. Standard 1080p hd output. Please help!

We have one file that is resisting all the regular troubleshooting steps to be able to be opened in After Effects.Details >- opens fine on Mac, crashes seem to be relegated to Windows computers (but not all windows computers)- newest version of Ae on all related computers- Windows are all running Win 11, Mac is running Sequia 15.0.1- file begins to load, then crashes after AE starts up- file dialog for saving a copy loads, but doesn't save new copyTroubleshooting we've tried > - opening in safe mode- clearing cache and opening- loading into fresh after effects project- saving new copy of file from computer it works on- saving a 23.x copy of file from computer it works on- closing Dropbox (what we use for file sharing and syncing) and opening file- reducing project from computer it works on and opening I'm attaching the logs from the last open, would super appreciate if anyone has any ideas of how to sort this out!
