先日Aeを入れたばかりの新参者です。起動してみたはいいものの、「システムの互換性レポート」と注意書きが出てきて使えません。いろいろ自分なりに調べてインテルドライバーとソフトウェアを最新の状態にしましたが出続けてしまい未だ開けない状態にあります。これは自分のPCのスペックなどに問題があるのでしょうか。有識者がいらっしゃいましたらご教授いただけると幸いです。よろしくお願いいたします。 使用しているPC→Razer blade15   Corei7  Windows10

Hello! Trying to animate a write-on effect, but with a sans serif blocky font - so each line/section/curve of the characters "draw" on at varying times as a way to reveal the word. I don't want an organic, handwriting look though - more like trim paths, but the brand's font design is too specific to recreate using hand-made strokes. Is there a better way to accomplish this, or do I need to recreate with strokes and use trim paths?

Jedes Mal, wenn ich versuche, eine Animation zu rendern, hängt sich das Programm auf oder stürzt komplett ab. Der Renderprozess startet zwar, aber nach einer Weile friert alles ein und ich kann die Animation nicht erfolgreich exportieren.Ein paar Details zur Animation:Die Komposition hat eine Breite von 14.400 Pixeln und eine Höhe von 256 Pixeln. Ich frage mich, ob die ungewöhnlich große Breite der Komposition das Problem verursacht. Möglicherweise überfordert diese Größe meine Hardware oder überlastet die Software.Hat jemand von euch ähnliche Erfahrungen gemacht oder eine Idee, woran es liegen könnte? Ich wäre sehr dankbar für jeden Tipp!Danke im Voraus!

I keep on repeatedly getting an error with After Effects that states: After Effects warning: Unable to set clip. GDI Status: "GenericError" It happens to me every day, usually over my lunch hour I switch my screens off. If After Effects is running, when I return and try to RAM Preview, AE will load in to RAM as much as it can, usually playing back once before this error pops up. If I hit ok, the same error then pops up repeatedly, and it will not go away giving me no chance to save my work. I have to use the Task Manager to be able to quit AE. As I've got two monitors plugged in to two PCs, it also happens when I switch PCs then switch back to the one running AE. Can Adobe fix this please? Or at least make it so that the error message doesn't keep coming up when I press OK in an endless cycle of doom?

(See attached video.) When I copy a layer with relative property links, then paste to create a new layer with those property links, then duplicate the comp, the duplicate layer does not update. Steps to encounter the bug:Create a layer.Copy with relative property links.Paste to create a new layer with relative property links.Duplicate comp.Change a property of the original layer in the new comp (position, in this case). The position of the duplicate layer does not update; it remains frozen in place It should instead "follow" the original layer. Curiously, the position property in the layer stack does show that the property is updating properly; it is merely not updating visually. I have several third-party plug-ins installed; ask if you need specifics. I am running After Effects 24.5.0 (Build 52) for macOS Sonoma 14.6 on a 2021 MacBook Pro with Apple M1 Max chip and 64 GB of memory.  

Hello, I'm wondering how this transition was made? (see video attached) How does someone move the video down so smoothly? Is this doable in After effects? Thanks!

hello everyone, since yesterday after effects is suddenly unable to cache my compositions. Instead of caching it like it used to, the cache bar just randomly flickers all the time. I already tried to purge the caches and everything multiple times, selected new locations for them, changed the resolution and minimized my project files. I m already working with precomposed comps and proxys. Everything behaved fine before.  I have tested to open a new project and imported a clip into the compositon to see if it occurs again. It worked perfectly fine. The sequence was cached and the green bar behaved normally.  Has somebody experienced this problem and knows how to solve it. I have worked tones of hours on this project and would appreciate every helpful advise.  

In PP there is an option (hold shift key while loading) to reset the plugins loading cache. Is there a similar thing for AE? I have some plugins not loading with this message:The registry tells us to cache so the plugin will be loaded from the cache. The plugin is marked as Ignore, so it will not be loaded. 

I have been noticing premiere projects and after effects projects vanishing .  I recently was able to reproduce this because fortunately, we have a backup system in place and was able to recover the deleted project, and reproduce it. I have a dynamically linked after effects project with som fottage that became unlinked.   I choose "edit original" from premiere and relinkd the footage that was unlinked. When I went into premiere it said the after effects project (that was just there) was offline. When I looked in the folder that the ae project was in, it was emptyhttps://youtu.be/a4DBbu6js4c

 Hello, I'm having a problem with the rotation on my animation.I'm new with the program and I'm doing my homework which consists in animating a ball bouncing , I got the bouncing but the ball doesn't spin at all and I don't know why.Can someone help me figure it out please ? 

I was doing a fairly large project in ae and at one point after restarting the program, I saw this error, created copies, ran in safe mode, but nothing helps, cleaned the disk memory, it appears literally from nothing, at the moment on some saves it disappears but after restarting the program it appears again please help

Another way to ask the same question and/or it would help solve my problem: How can I view my main Layers that contain all my precomps, while working on my precomp components.My issue is that I have sliders that Adjust Many things inside one of my precomps, but I want to look at my overall project while tweaking my slider. If I was to use the slider, I will go inside the precomp, and I would not be able to see my overall project. Thanks in advance 

I'm new to After Effects and would like to animate an element in the same way as the GIF below. Any suggestions on how I can get started? (what tools should I use, besides position and opacity mapping?) 

Trying to align animation to audio, I hit play and NOTHING moves. Audio plays and video plays but I need to guess where on the wave form it coudl be at to cut my animation to. I do not even get the red cached timeline indicator. There are NO updates as I am fully updated. I use Mister Horse plugin.AMD 5900X64GB RAM3TB NVMe RAMNvidia 4080 Super Nothing heavy going on and no Mister Horse plugin being used but it is installed.

I love AE and would very much prefer creating my camera work inside an AE comp.  There is a tremendous amount of information online about the workflow from C4D to AE, but I can't find solutions formoving from AE to C4d.  I've attempted to use the "merge Comp Cam" to my cineware file, but it never shows up in C4d.  I save the cineware file, merge, etc.  Nothing seems to work. I know I must be missing something obvious because most of  us come from an After Effects background. They wouldn't make the workflow just one way, would they? Screenshot included.

I recently got after affects and I have been trying to use graphs but it doesn't show up. I tried scrolling, pressing the "fit all graphs to view", highlighting my keyframes, so maybe i'm just missing something.

Hey, I'm making an animation bank.As it is a bank and I will use it for various projects, I want the assets to be as editable as possible.Each assets consists three comps - start, body (loop), and ending, so I could alter the length of the asset as I please.the body comp is a single, cycle type, loop, which the loop expression is configured on its Time Remap value.I know that you can limit the cycles based on a timestamp, but is there an expression that makes the loop go only in full cycles depends on the layer length? for example: a layer is 5:00 sec in length, the looped keyframes are 2:00 sec in total.In that scenario the loop will have 2.5 cycles, but I want the expression to recgonize that after 2 loops it won't be able to complete a third cycle so it will freeze on the last framefor clarifications I use LoopOut exxpression on all of those said layers.Thank you!
