Hi, Community!Can anybody help me with the topic?Maybe somebody knows the difference in plugins scanning method in these two versions of AAu?Plugin is seen and works properly in AAu 2018, but no attempt from AAu 2020 seen  even to load it. ( my logs analysis)Plugin is qute legal and not included to any of blacklists.Any idea would be appreciated.Veronica

Audition has been working without any issues since I installed it 4 months ago. Recently, it has started to freeze every 5 minutes or so. This happened prior to any system or software updates. I updated the software two days ago, but that did not fix the problem. Windows rolled out an update yesterday sometime but that has not fixed it. I have uninstalled and reinstalled and that has not ifxed the problem. I have plent of disk space, i7 with 48 GB RAM. HELP!! I am in the middle of a project and am getting nowhere fast..Thank you

Is there a way to increase the size of the readouts in the Selection/View window?

I have a vocal track that is only a little off every here and there. I plan on using Auto Pitch Correction, but the one issue is that there is a pitch modulation in the middle of the track. If I cut the track before the modulation, highlight the portion with the pitch issues, and apply APC from the rack, will it effect the whole track, or just the part of the track that is highlighted? Can I apply one instance of APC to one 1/2 and another to the other half?

I am starting to write songs with my sister but I don't have a proper software. If I were to get Audition, would I need attachments like a microphone, instruments, etc. or do I just import files from my phone? Can I import files from Voice Memos on my phone?

Working with 40 minute chunks of audio, it would SAVE the file in about 15 secondsNow it takes more than a minute just to SAVEAnd that's after I updated itWhy would it be going slower after an "Update"? 

HiI started working on a PR file by dragging in into AU, it shows all individual, sperate tracks perfectly. But when I save the file in AU by "file -- export -- export to adobe premiere pro -- with 'export each track as stem' ticked, I got an mixed down file.Is there settings i can change to make Audition save it as a file with all tracks sparated, and can be edited individually? Thanks

I use CS6. I am digitising some old vinyl and noticed after I had done a few that my record player was running a bit slow (c. 1.8%). No problem, I thought, I'll just use the time and pitch stretch process in Adobe Audition to get it back to normal. Specifically: Effects> Time & Pitch> Stretch & Pitch (process). I have set the Stretch to 98.23% and locked the pitch to the stretch, which should drop the pitch by 0.31 semitones. Unfortunately not that simple. After the stretch, I notice most of the waveform seems to be in Clipping. So I checked using the Amplitude Statistics. The average RMS amplitude before and after are very similar Before:14.16L, 14.47R After: 14.28L 14.55R. However, the number of possibly clipped samples has gone from 5L, 75R (a few more than I would like, but not worth re-recording) to 17921L, 17337R. What is happening? Why does time/pitch stretching affect amplitude at all? How can I stop it?

Has anyone being able to configure a nano kontrol 2 from Korg as a control surface on Adobe Audition?When first pluged on my usb the korg, adobe would read it, but wouldnt work anyway, so I downloaded the drivers from Korg, and now that I have intalled them, Adobe won't even see the nanokontrol, I try to look for it on the midi entrances on mackie control configuration but is not there :C Can Anybody help me with this?

Hi, I am using Adobe Audition CS6 in Windows 7 (not interested in upgrading to Windows 10 or to CC at this time) I want to use the Korg Nanokontrol2 in Adobe Audition CS6 along with the Focusrite USB interface.  I have the Focusrite USB interface up and running great, but I can't get the Nanokontrol2 to work in conjunction with it.  Can anyone provide a walkthrough?

Problem with aptitudes marker adjusteing manually 

So I started a multitrack project in Audition and I was doing a bunch of editing without any issues, and I saved and closed the project. I later reopened the project, and suddenly the playback is slowed and REALLY low-pitched. It sounds like the audio is lagging slightly behind where the playhead is on the project. I have reopened Audition several times and this issue is persisting. I have no idea what's going on. I don't know if it's an issue where somehow something has changed with the sample rate, but after looking at the .sesx file in a text editor it's definitely formated to 44100 hz and all of the audio files are also in 44100 hz. Would really like to fix this instead of starting all over.

When I use Open Append> in Audition and select consecutive clips from a CD that plays without gaps, there is audible sound hiccups where the track breaks had been. I'm a beginner so thanks for explaining it simply to this computer savvy but non-sound engineer. Is this an automatic crossfade issue? Details: I'm using Windows 10 Pro and trying to combine an accompaniment track for my choir to record with. The CD I'm pulling from has the song broken into short clips that correspond to specific measures in the sheet music.

I am using a Audient ID14 with Auditon and I want to be able to use both channels for mono audio.  Right now I can only use the left channel for mono.  When I look at the audio channel mapping it shows the L as mono but not the right.  How can I change this?  I want to be able to use both XLR inputs and record the audio on both channels based upon which one has the phantom power applied.  Currently I can do that for the L side but the R side has really low volume.  I am trying to find the correct settings in Audition to do this as it surely has to be possible.

Hello.I have to realise a podcast interview with Audition.I record my voice with my mike, and i want to record -at the same time- the voice of my guest (in Skype, Facetime, Messenger or other). Is it possible ? And if i just want to record a sound from my computer (vidéogame, conf call...) how can i do it ? I think it's possible with Audacity, but not with Audition ?Thanks a lot for your advices

I have been notified by a friend that Mac's new OS 11 is about to drop and that some Music software may not be compatible in the 64-bit world. I am a subscription Audition user, so my Audition is current. Is my Audition subscription going to be compatible with OS 11? Please advise...Thanks!

soooo frustratingAudition 13 cc is not recognizing plug ins  this is a huge problem! I have waves, izotope, etc and I really need these. Not a newbie. I know how to add plugin folders to the manager. Previous versions I added vst 64 and vst3, never a problem. Now I do a scan and nothing shows, scan just hangs  Previous editions, 0 issues. If i added new plugin and opened up effects manage/rescan, boom, there it was. What is different?Win 10/home/16gigs onboardNo issues, same folders vegas 17, sound forge 14, acid, cakewalk

Hi!I've just aquired the Korg nanoKontrol Studio. It is recognized in Mackie mode in Premiere and works as expected, however Audition won't recognize it as a control surface. I know that Audition is finicky about midi devices but as a control surface I read it works. Is there anything I can do? I purchased this to use specifically in Audition and have now spent at least 1.5 hours trying various things to no avail. Other topics don't provide any help. Thanks so much!

i have been trying to use a virtual audio cable and audition to do some real time voice EQ/compression/deesser and i can get the audio to work just fine in adobe and i can hear it in adobe, but when trying to use it as a real time editior and push said sound out to apps such as OBS and Discord i get 0 audio. My hardware settings are setup properly (as ive watched / read 5-10 different guides on this now) and still no audio is being pushed out of Audition.  

Hello there. I'm relatively new to Audition and am trying my best to figure things out. I've done pretty well but I'm having one problem that I cannot figure out. I hope someone can point me in the right direction.I use Audition to edit church sermons as well as to record and edit podcasts on my MacBook Pro, both of which are recorded with different microphones and systems (church is through the sound equipment there, and podcast I use Audition and a Blue Yeti). While I'm working with the files, everything sounds fantastic; all effects, tweaks, etc, have no issues. However, when I do the multitrack mixdown to both .wav and .mp3, the resulting sound quality is awful. It honestly sounds like going from listening to a CD to listening to an AM radio station in the bottom of a barrel. I have used other editing programs and iTunes for playback, but everything sounds terrible.I've tried searching for answers on Google and other message boards but nothing really addresses my issue. I've imported a mixdown mp3 into my multitrack session and Audition will not allow me to split the track at the playhead. Anybody know why that might be?

I'm trying to create favorites for effect I commonly use and am encountering an issue 1) I click "Start Recording Favorite"2) I apply the effect ("Mouth De-Click" for example)3) I click "Stop Recording Favorite"4) I name and save the favorite. Is there a way to create a new favorite that I can apply to different sections of audio? It seems that I'm only able to create a favorite to apply to an entire selection, or one specific section of an audio file. For example: I want to be able to create a favorite, and then be able to apply it to different sections of an interview as I edit. Right now it only applies it to the entire file. When I try to create a favorite by appliying it to a section of the file, the favorite will only apply it to that section, even when a different section is selected.   Any help?
