Audition

I want to download and install Adobe Audition version 12.1.5 from 2019. (It was the last one with the green icon, I beleive!) I asked Adobe but they said they can't help me because it's more than 3 years old, and said I should ask here instead.  That's odd, but....does anyone have this version? I imagine the file name might be AdobeAudition12All.zip

This is a whole new thing - I've been using AA for many years with this exact setup, and suddenly this issue.  The only difference is that the speaker isn't me - I'm engineering.   And - I don't hear this while monitoring live!!Please review the :07 sample attached.   These are the Amp. Hello Everyone. I have some Video and Audio Clips inside my Premiere Pro Timeline, I am using the Dynamic Link, by using, Edit In Adobe Audition-Sequence, and going to Audition. Inside the Audition after applying my desired effects, I choose the File-Export to Premiere Pro. The problem is it opens in Premiere Pro Beta, not the original Premiere Pro, and there is no file thereThanks 

Hello,I have a multitrack project open with 4 layers of audio. Track 1, through Track 4.I want to descrease the volume of ALL tracks at the same time. Like a global volumereduction.  How would I accomplish this ?Thank you for your time

3.0 works fine.  3.0.1 patch won't install.  I download it off the site, save it, click on it, popup asks permission to install, click on that...it's gone.  I've downloaded it twice off the site this month; I also have a copy of it already from years back when I first installed 3.0...which installed fine.  I only uninstalled it in the first place, to re-install 3.0, to fix a problem.  Now I can't get 3.0.1 back; it just doesn't re-install.

Hi! I have a lot of clips in a project timeline with changed envelope volume. I haven't used keyframes but just dragged the yellow envelope volume line up and down to affect the entire clip. Now I want to reset all these envelope volume changes back to zero db without having to manually drag each and every volume line to 0 db.  Can I do this in sort of the same way as I can mark alle keyframes and delete all keyframes at once? Thanks in advance. Best,Morten

Hi, I'm trying to record our school concert with 2 mics which is connected to an audio interface. This is simple because you can just select Interface mono input 1 and interface mono input 2 to record in seperate tracks. However, I want to also record with a USB webcam that I have. it has a perfect quality of mics.The video itself will be recorded on OBS and I could possibly record the sound too. however, I want the sound input from my USB webcam to be recorded on Adobe Audition too. What should I do? Should I just record the sound of an interface seperate and put it together afterwards?

i have an mp3 filei captured a noise print and reduced the noise from the entire file successfully the first timeafter that any noise print i capture and apply noise reduction process stays the same and is not applied.My software is the latest versionPlease help 

HelloI have an interview that is one hour long. The are segments where the vocal is compromised.I think the audio line feed may be the culprit.The first segment  in this two minute extraction from the one hour audiois an area that plays good however the audio then plays into 'segment two' at 42 seconds - the sound needs to be fix, if possible.Is there a way to fix those areas with that apparent anomaly ?Using Premiere Pro CC then to work on the open open into Audition.Thanks https://youtu.be/J-zUIPPgop0

Is it possible to keep personal settings from Audition version 3.0 to 25.0?

How do I clear audio in the waveform editor without having it ripple delete? I other words, I make a selection, hit a key and the remaining audio stays in place? There should be a clear in place command. And I'm not talking about using the G key to clear the actual selection, I want to clear the audio within that selection without it being a ripple delete. Of course insert silence works but that's an extra keystroke. I know it's possible because at one time I had it set up as a custom key command. Thank you for any help.

Hi everyone.I made a multitrack session. After trying to export it, I can no longer hear any audio in the original file. My audio is working fine in other apps and I've tried changing the output in the Preferences > Hardware. I can hear everything fine in the waveform editor, just not as a whole multitrack. PLEASE someone help me I'm terrified I've lost all my work.Also, how can I export a multitrack session as an audio file I can listen to in soundcloud spotify or apple music?

I am recording my band for the first time on an Allen & Heath SQ-5 with Windows 10 using Adobe Audition 2024. My computer has 64GB RAM and 14 Cores, 28 logical processors.I can record multitrack just fine but when I go to punch in, the recording is not in sync. It starts in sync, then slowly drifts out of sync with the original audio so I can't change any latency settings to fix. The punched in tracks drift.I am using the A&H SQ ASIO drivers. I have set the computer power settings to High Performance, Disabled the USB Suspend Setting and both the SQ-5 and Windows SQ ASIO Driver are up to date. I've tried high and low buffer settings, and many in-between. The audio hardware settings are correct for the board (I can live record multitrack and playback without issue; the punched in recordings are the issue). The board is USB connected. Any guidance will be greatly appreciated. If I can't get this to work I have to go back to the Roland OctaCapture and I'll lose a lot of

I am tracking drums in a mulitrack session in Adobe Audition.  I'm playing to a scratch track already recorded in Audition on a track that's NOT armed.  How do I get the transport to keep playing the scrtach track over and over so I can doo multiple takes of the song.  The takes would stack up on top of each other with each take.  Then I can edit with the razor tool to reveal previous takes below?  How do I record with the Playback Loop button on?

Hi Adobe,I used Audition to generate a 1-hour 0dBFS 1kHz tone and saved it as a .wav file without any issues.However, after converting the file to .mp3, closing it, and re-importing it into Audition, I noticed that the dBFS of the .mp3 file was reduced. The amount of reduction varied inconsistently.If the audio file is 1 minute or shorter, this issue does not occur.I tested this with both the 2024 and 2025 versions of Audition, and the issue persists in both.Best regards,Jeffery.

I have the problem that Audition wont output audio. I can move the playhead manually, but it wont move when I press space or the play button.Changing the output device doesn't have an effect. Neither do restarts or resetting the workspace have an effect. Does anybody have an idea what's the problem here?

I'm using Audition on a Win 10 machine running Audinate Dante VIA.  For some reason I can only route the Mix bus to a Dante output.  I have VIA set up as 16x16 and CAN route the mix bus to any of the DANTE outputs available but if I route the output of a bus to a Dante TX it does not transmit.

Hi, I've recorded a .wav clip at my school using their adobe audition, emailed it to myself to edit at home using my adobe audition (via my adobe premium pro subscription) however the .wav file doesn't seem to load into my library, when I drag and drop, a new tab opens to just play the file. Any pointes?

Hello!I am looking for an answer to the following question:I have a music track, I don't like the middle part, I would like to cut it out, and connect the beginning and the end of the track with a smooth mix.The volume of the first part of the track gradually decreases, and at the same time, the volume of the last part of the track gradually increases. Is there any way to stretch (or compress) a portion of a file in multitrack view? Here is my scenario.  I have 2 files in multitrack view of the same song, but from different sources. I want to be able to adjust the end of a portion of the track so that the 2 files start at end at the same points. I have to edit the entire track in segments since there are speed variations within the track. Doing this in the multitrack editor will allow me to exactly align them if I can adjust the length of the segment I have selected. Is this possible? I am using the current version of Audition.

A new release of Adobe Audition. And you can have any Appearance you want so long as it is a shade of black.Adobe are still not listening. Some of us have a hard time seeing and working with dark colours on the screen.Why is there still no light coloured option or options for Appearance? FrustratedRob

I've spent many hours talking to Adobe AU tech support, but sadly, I have not had any luck with them. I'm working on a large-scale project where all the audio is edited in AU, and then all the streams/tracks are bounced down to a server. While in the editing process, we need AU to follow the timecode from the video servers so the playhead in AU follows the time of the video playing back.  It could also be the case that I could output a specific time from AU so that the video servers follow the AU playhead.  This has been possible in all other DAWs I've worked in ProTools, Logic, etc, but can't seem to get any external timecode into my AU projects. I'm using the latest AU on MacOS.  Tom

Hello all,  I'm new to Audition. Using Version 25.0.0.47 on a Macbook Air M3. I'm experiencing the following issue:  When I'm playing back audio waveform in Waveform view, I click to a location on the waveform, and instead of the playhead jumping there instantly, a second "dotted line" playhead appears.  If I click in the time counter above the waveform, then the playhead does jump to the location I choose. But I also want this to happen if I click on the waveform itself.   What am I doing wrong? What do I need to check/fix in order to get the playhead to simply jump to where I click it on the waveform, instead of creating that second "ghost" playhead?   (**screenshot attached for reference)
