Audition

I think I know why too.I have a project with stacks of fabfilter and izotope plugins on several tracks. I opened the project on a work machine to show a work mate some edits. This machine has no third party plugins installed. I think I must have saved the project out of habbit from there.Now I've opened the project back on my machine and all the plugin setting have returned to their default settings! The project is misbehaving in general now too, with strange distortion on any track with spectral denoise - regardless of the settings.This is hours of work I have lost. Does anyone know if there is a way to recover the original plugin settings and restore the project?

I'm working In premiere (v14.8) and audition cc (v13.013), the most recent updates as of this post. I can send the audio I need for editing into audition fine, but the video is not following. Rather than importing the back half of my video project like I'm trying to do, it is repeating the first 20 minutes of the video instead over the audio of the second half. This is problematic as I'm trying to edit a feature film and need to make sure my timing and inserts are correct. I have uninstalled and reinstalled. I have restarted the computer, and cleared the media cache to no availe. I'm using dynamic link. Has anyone else experienced this and how can I get to correct part of the video to transfer? Can audition only handle video files of a certain length? thanks~

Hello my friends!For a long time I have a problem with exporting files in mp2 format. When I put them into the batch process, I setting the output parameters, clicking RUN, and i got the message "an error occurred while saving the file to disk... the destination may be full or no longer avalibe" I tried to export with many severals mp2 format settings and other format too (like ogg and wav) and nothing - every time there is an error. The files are saving on physical disk which is a lot of space. Everything is fine with disk.Is this another program error? My AU version: CC 2015Please help me

Hi all, I'm about to give up on Adobe for any help with this. Been on a chat with them for nearly two hours and the chat support hasn't been able to help. Sadly I think there ubiquitousness has evolved them into caring less and relying in these communities to provide the bulk of their basic troubleshooting support (vs being a place to share insights, techniques or new ideas). It is pathetic they seem to be using poorly trained and likely poorly paid help. I feel bad for them. First they pointed me to a posting on this community from 2012? Granted it was from one of the best here, but 2012? My guess if they have him on speed-dial and in their Rolodex. hello,I saved in the favorites a set of effects that i watned to remember for next projects, and then i update the Audition and this set that i saved in the favorite- disapeared. it is very important for me. is there a way to bring it back?

HelloWhenever I update Adobe Audition, I lose all my favorites. I restore sound files and I record a sequence of processes, equalization and other.In the new version, I have no favorite, so I have to start every time to record all my automatic processes.Is there a way to save these favorites? The ideal would also be able to use both MAC and PC because I have to update everything every time And on Mac and PC and on all computers.So, I am always three or more versions late.In Photoshop, automations are automatically retrieved. Why is this not the case in Audition?Thanks !

how to change adobe audition cc 2020 language on mac?

It should be intuitive, but having mixed a new file with church organ and six separate voices, I want to export it as a.wav or .mp3 file to use as bakground to a powerpoint slideshow, but I can't find how to do it. I suspect it is in 'export' but some of the options are greyed our.

Hi, I'm running Audition CC (11.1.1) on a PC (windows 10).Recently I started having problems when I was saving files (Save as), getting a Fatal Error.I updated to the latest version, and now it won't start at all - I'm getting a fatal error and the message "Audition cannot access the documents folder. Please make sure current user has the read/write permission to the documents folder."I then follow some instructions I found in the forums here, uninstalled, did the cc cleaner, reinstalled. Again, it won't start and I'm getting the same error message. I've tried holding down shift to start with the default preferences but it doesn' work - is that just a Mac thing? What's the PC equivalent?Please can someone explain ***IN VERY SIMPLE TERMS*** how I can sort this out. I am not a computer wiz but I need Audition to be working to do my job.I've been using Audition for years but any more of this nonsense and I'm switching to Reaper because this is infuriating for a product that costs so much.

Hi Folks,    I cannot get rid of the hum in a section of my audio. It's a regular cycle like 60 Hz but nothing gets rid of it. I tried De-Hum at different frequencies with varying number of harmonics, also  noise reduction.  I tried to find the problem frequency using the parametric equalizer.   Does anyone have suggestions?  I've attached a sample.   

After spending 2 hours with useless support I will post my question to the commity.I have added a languages pack(Danish) to my windows languages setting and have now a Microsoft voice of Helle, who speak danish, so far so good Now I want to create a text 2 speech using the voice of Microsoft Helle using Audition  But I can't see my local languages when I open Effects/Generate/Speech, simply because Language dropdown is not enabled.Anybody who know the solution to enable Language Field.I have attached images from my windows settings and Audition Text to speech formThanks

Hello! I have searched relentlessly for solutions on this message board and on others before posting and have yet to find a solution to my issue.  I have an audition session (podcast episode) and the entire recording sounds wonderful in my multitrack and waveform versions. Then, when I export the file to MP3 format (ive tried both exporting with media encoder and multitrack mixdown), on playback, I hear a static noise that buzzes randomly at the 1 hour mark, and continues to the end. The first hour of the episode is pristine.  I checked the entire audio file and this does not happen in editing, so I know it has something to do with the export. There are NO issues on the file in audition. There is no static or any issues in the waveform view. I have the correct exporting settings, file and stereo/bit settings. I do not have any edits on the file except for background noise reduction, and some upper level spectral selections. Ive checked and rechecked the raw aud

I'm trying to figure out how to remove - not avoid, it's already been recorded - mouth smacking from my recording. It's easy for me to do at the very end of a sentence, but when it's in the middle I've found it nearly impossible. I've tried going to the waveform to discern what looks different, but haven't been able to make it work that way without erasing too little or too much. Online I saw someone using the FFT filter for those noises that escape with some letters, but that also didn't help with this saliva issue. Help!!! 

I have an Audition CS6 multitrack session (sesx) file which is refusing to open. The error message says "The file is either corrupt or using an unsupported format". The strange thing is that I saved three different sesx files at various points while I was working on the project (to ensure I had a backup and could revert changes if need be) and I get the same error message when I try to open any of them.Luckily I exported the finished project as wav before I closed Audition but I'd nevertheless like to find out what the problem is as it's quite worrying to think that I could have lost days worth of work even when I regularly saved backup copies of the session.Any help in diagnosing the problem would be much appreciated.

How do you do it???I'm working on a podcast,  an audiocast of a book.I read for ten minutes. Put it down. read for another ten minutes, etc.If I do noise reduction on the various tracks and then fix the esses and the breathing IN THE WAVEFORM editor (making sure not to erase the breathing entirely) and THEN bring them all into the multitrack and try to do the loudness adjustment in the MULTI TRACK, so that all the tracks match each other, the breathing on some of the tracks and the mouth noises which were successfully reduced in the WAVEFORM, are suddenly back again!And so I have to go back to the waveform editor and reduce them again. Should I START in multitrack, match the loudness, and then go to waveform to fix the breathing and mouth noises, etc. being VERY CAREFUL not to change the volume and mess up the adjustment I did in multi. Or what. Please?????

Is audition have this feature? When dynamics effects added to effect rack or volume curve changed it will be great to see what it will do to waveform of a track, I trying to find such options in Audition but I failed (in Cubase it turned on by default)

Hello guys, I have recently moved from Mac to PC and use Adobe Audition.  When I import audio files into a session I want to make sure that they convert to the same proeprties (file type, bit and sample rate) as the multi track project.  On my Mac it used to do it automatically. On my PC it doesn't seem to be doing that so the audio in the session has all different properties.  Do you know how I can ensure that it is all homogenised when put into the session?Any help massively appreciated!!Zak

I'm not sure if this is already a feature so if so please let me know, but I would LOVE to be able to link multi-track sessions to one another like pre-composing in AE. I find my multi track sessions get so busy so quickly and it makes it really hard for me to have an efficient workflow like this. Any suggestions or ways round this?  thanks in advance!

Hey, my audition is not working like at all. I have the latest update and I have even uninstalled and installed it again. But here's the problem:1. I have audio hardware as my rode rodecaster pro input and output, that's my pc settings too.When I hit record audition says:Audition has detected a problem with the current audio settings.When I go to preferences then, audition has changed my output to {0.0.0.00000000}.{98d4ad38-0d1eAnd put the master clock to that too. If I change it back, audition changes it again. Any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks

Hi everybodyI want to set my ratio about 4:1 or something normal, the only way I can do it is by dragging the point on the graphic display line?  When I go to the settings tab I don't see anything for ratio.  and when I click on the Segment 1, Segment 2 information below the graphic, there is nothing to edit. So I wonder if there is something wrong with my display, or.. where can I type in my ratio?Probably something I'm missing, thanks for reading!

I got some problems in my adobe audition, the problem is the audition closes by itself, about after 10minutes after use, a warning appears 'please save your project ...' and if I cancel, auditon will close by itself

Can be order of applying to track Volume curves and effects rack changed? Which one is default? Curves goes first?  

Hi all,Is there a way to create a keyboard shortcut that creates a pre-defined time selection on the waveform editor at the cursor/playhead? (rather than relative to start/end of file or an actual time stamped location) I use Audition to edit voice over files. (I started when it was Cool Edit Pro) I import the 'raw' file which may be up to an hour long of the talent reading the script. This then needs to be edited into prompts with each promt being saved as a seperate file. I add a fade in of 0.01 seconds at the start of each prompt and a fade out of 0.325 seconds at the end of each prompt. I used to have these selections (0.01 seconds & 0.325 seconds) saved as a favourite so I could apply them from where my cursor/playhead is placed using a custom keyboard shortcut. This is a critical shortcut when you are editing up to hundreds of files a day. Without this function Audition is of no use to anyone editing large numbers of files requiring top and tailing.Any help with this wou
