Windows usere here. Audition records on both Host and Interview even though I have the 2 mics plugged in and panned left and right on my Mixer. I'm new to Audition so I apologize if this is a stupid issue to bring up here, but I'm at my wits end trying to figure out what I'm doing wrong. Can some kind soul take pity on me and help a girl out? 🙂
Hello Everyone.I got the Zoom H6 Recorder. When I Record directly to the Computer, I attach my Mic to the Scarlett 2, and I record to Audition. With Zoom H6, I have a choice of Recording directly to my Computer. Is It possible I can attach Zoom H6 to the Scarlett 2?Which option Is better to get the best Sound Quality.Thank you very much.
I am having issues exporting a multi-track mixdown. I try to export and then receive the error code (0000000B). I have seen that sometimes that is an issue with an external VST being used, but unless I am mistaken I don't think I am using any VSTs (Just to be safe, I 'disabled all' in the Audio Plug-in Manager. I have tried exporting with different settings but that doesn't seem to make much of a difference. Let me know if you know of any other trouble-shooting that may help! Thanks HC
I don't see any way to uninstall plug ins from Audition. I have some Wave plug ins I do not want or need, because I don't like them. Can anyone help me find the 'Uninstall' button? Please!!!
I'm relatively new. I haven't been able to figure out how to start a new thread (the directions I found didn't help), so this seemed to be the likeliest thread to try. I'm using Adobe CS4 with Windows 7 Pro. Currently I can't get Soundbooth save a file as an .mp3 any more. I've been doing this for years, but now, it doesn't work any more. It doesn't crash, it just sits there. Any thoughts on why it would suddenly not let me do a standard procedure? I haven't installed any new programs, and Microsoft stopped supporting W7P before my last successful project. Any suggestions on how to proceed? Ive already uninstalled and reinstalled it with no improvement. Thanks in advance. [Mod note: Moved to a thread of its own.]
I haven't seen anyone else post this yet, so I wanted to make sure to bring it up so Adobe developers are aware (although they probably already are). This is a problem both in the stable build of Audition CC as well as the most current beta build. Audition is processing audio files (especially WAV files) EXTREMELY slowly, waaaay slower than it had previous to me updating to Big Sur. Also, in multitrack mode, the visuals on the wav forms keep on distorting or showing the WAV form from a different audio file, etc. And with them refreshing, it also slows the program way down. There will definitely need to be some updates to the software for it to work smoothly with Audition. I can still use it, but it's become difficult (but, that's the price one pays for installing MacOS betas this early). Hopefully later Betas make it go smoother too, but there may be some tweaks needed by Adobe here to make it work properly.
Adobe Audition is picking up system sounds when using Discord(and everywhere else) and I don't know how to stop it from doing so.*Edit: People can;t hear themselves through my mic, but they can hear when I play youtube videos and such. So it's not really 'system sound' per se, it's just weird.
I need help because I can't ear anithing while I'm recording/editing things in adobe audition. I click play and I see that there is a wave but there is no sound. After when I transform that in MP· it's ok but I can't work with this error
My company uses a "high definition" phone system, and after recording announcements from a phone handset, my home quarantine inspired me to record everything in my home studio. Everything sounds great, but when I try to upload the files into the phone system, the upload fails. They allow 16-bit, 16kHz PCM WAV files, and that's how I configure my export, but it says the files are corrupt or using the wrong codec. I've been over this probably 50 times and it always fails. I called the phone company and explained my problem. They suggested I run the files through a file converter at g711.org. I did that, using the "High Definition WAV (16Khz, Mono, 16-Bit PCM)" option, and the resulting files work fine. So, how do I get my top-of-the line audio production program to export files in the same format as this little one-page .org site? I tried the libsndfile format as Steve suggested. One third of my files exported as .WAV, one third of them exported as .AU, and the final

CCAudition 11.1.0.184Premiere Version 13.0SystemMac OS Sierra 10.12.61. I export Sequence Markers (or Clip Markers) as .csv from Premiere.2. When attempting to import those markers in Audition (in either sequence or audio clip), Audition outputs "Error while reading marker data from file [file name]]".I would be grateful for any help importing my markers from Premiere into Audition!
I just downloaded adobe 2020 from creative cloud. Whenever I do ctrl+s to save my file, it says " Audition encountered an error trying to perform the operation". I was just editing a simple mp3 file, nothing too complex related to presets n stuff. Please help me resolve this error.
So this is my situation...I'm setting up to do streaming and I'm using audition...I have a microphone that I want to improve the audio of with Audition, No problem. I have it piped into track 1 and piped out to my master...master links to virtual audio cables and then those go back to my discord...works no problem. Now, I want to set track 2 up to take the input from discord and pipe it into another master and also mix it with my mic on the same master...the problem is...once I set my default audio equipment up those are the ONLY audio devices it gives me access to... So I can't take my discord audio and send it through another virtual cable and have it mix with my mic to go to my streaming software and I can't also send my discord audio to my headset because all I can see is the first Virtual Audio cable and my mic input. I have no other inputs or outputs avaliable to use. What am I missing or doing wrong??
When I record my voiceovers into Audition, the waveform is not balanced at the top and bottom. Is there a reason for this? I am using a Rode NT1-A into a Scarlett 2i2.
Hey, I would love to know if there is a way to place markers equally along an audio track? I figured that if I know the BPM of a song, I can place markers perfectly on every beat of the track. Is there a way I can say to Audition (or any other tool, premiere etc) "place 'x' markers equally between timecodes 'y' and 'z'"? Thanks 🙂
I create a very simple weekly Podcast for my church, single voice, three music tracks. As part of the template I created for this, I have an effect, specifically, iZotope Ozone 9 Advanced, in the Effects Rack of the Master Track. Whether using the latest release or the latest Beta version the Input and Output meters on the Master Track Effects Rack show no movement at all, (the rack is set to "Track Effects" and not "Clip Effects") though toggling the rack on and off shows the "effect" is working, confirmed by opening the effect and studying its own input and output meters. If I remove and reinsert the effect, with the exact same settings, the meters become "active". Clearly this is a "visual" problem but surely should not be happening, I think?
Hi everyone,This is a complete shot in the dark, but for a short I'm working on, I want a scream to turn a distorted autotuney sound as in around 6:16 of Runaway. I need to both distort the voice and ADD fuzz to get the sort of bad autotune effect I'm looking for. Anyone have any ideas or plugins that would work specifically with an app in the adobe suite? Thank you for your time!https://youtu.be/x-FkJ5FzWgs?t=379
I cannot hear what I'm recording through my headphones. I'm using Adobe Audition 1.5. I can hear the instrumental fine. Can anyone help me?
I was given a 32 bit Win 7 machine. It's dual core. It definitely runs Audition 3.0. I want to use it for just playing keyboards to a drum track for practice during the quarantine (and occassionaly writing a song or something). Definitely not for serious recording! In the past I used Audition 3.0 with a Win 7 32 bit machine quad core with a sound card and was very happy. My problem: I'm hearing latency from the keyboard plugged directly in to the machine (not even using Audition). When I use Audition, there is SERIOUS latency. My question: can I solve this problem by buying a sound card? Or how about a Behringer Xenyx Q502USB Mixer?I do software, not hardware. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
Hi! Adobe audition keeps crashing. Like every 5 minutes it crashes maybe after i put some effects. And it doesent even save what I'm doing. I am running a macbook bro! I have already went to the site, adobe crashed now what? Please help anyone?
Hi,I want to use Audition (13.0.7.38) for live streaming. Audio input is an XLR mic (Samson Q2U) connected to a Focusrite Scarlett Solo (which connects as an audio interface via USB).Disabling the multitrack-Enable input monitoring-Enable smart monitoringoptions does not change the minimum latency value.Input device is seen as MME by Audition. So, relevant PC specs are:Ryzen 7, 2700X32GB RAMAMD 5700XTMotherboard is MSI X470 Gaming ... something, with Realtek - codec ALC892, driver version 6.0.1.8619 (from their website)
Hi! I am trying to use audition, but whenever I record, I am getting this weird glich. Does anyone know how to fix this? I am running a macbook pro! See screenshot below
Does Audition keep a record of the effects I applied to a .wav in waveform mode? I did a voice-over session a few weeks ago, imported the recorded audio into Audition, applied a few effects like dehummer, etc., and the result was great. Today, I imported a different recorded clip into Audition, and went blank on which effects I applied to that other clip. Okay fine, I'll take the hit on needing to improve my workflow, because I did not write that stuff down (I will now), but I really did - as naive as it may be - rely on Audition to keep a track of what I applied to that clip. I mean what's the point of saving the file once you import into Audition (the .pkf file) if that data does not get saved, or am I missing something? Does it keep track? If so, where is it? Otherwise, one would have to keep a log of every effect, ever adjustment, and that can get a bit maddening no? Thanks in advance!
When can I find a 32bit version of Audition?
