Adobe, you folks should inform users of the issues with the EQs in Audition 13.0.1, in the pinned announcement posted above, as referenced here: https://community.adobe.com/t5/audition/parametric-equaliser-not-functioning-correctly/m-p/10801010#M19979 If I recall it worked correctly in 13.0.0 and was introduced in the 13.0.1 update, . Looking forward to seeing this issue fixed.
When I click on a waveform, too often the visible part of the wave form is highlighted instead of just leaving the cursor where I have chosen to put it by clicking. Anybody else having this problem? Any solutions? Can I disable the double clicking which chooses the visible part of the wave form? Can I increase the time betwen clicks so the visible part of the wave form is not chosen?I am using Audition 13.0.3.60.Any help would be greatly appreciated. Marc
I don't know if it's already possible (I don't think so).PROBLEM:In the Waveforms view, I set my beautiful panels on the right and left with the sound wave in the center. I saved the Preset, all beautiful all functional.I move to the Multitrack view and have the same panels, in the same arrangement on the right on the Left etc.Yes, but now the panels on the right give a lot of trouble to the view and to the assembly on the multitrack of the various tracks ... setting and when I return to the multitrack the same thing ... HIGHLY BAD and FRUSTRATING !!!I PROPOSE:1. Is it possible to save in the same NAME as the Layout preset the separate settings one for the Waveforms view and one for when moving in the multitrack ?? (same preset different views)2. Is it possible to review the settings of the panels of the various windows?Too many panels to keep open and always little space ... and if you would adopt a Responsive panel setting, and with a small interface with opening buttons superimposed
Hi, New to Audition but not recording. I have a decent Macbook Pro (specs below) that should easily let me -while playing- click the Solo or Mute button and have Audition just do that on the fly. But it doesn't, it just keeps playing as if I did nothing. And if I make an eq change (or any other effect) I can't hear that on the fly either. I have to press stop and then play again to hear the difference, which is SUPER slow. I'm only talking 4 vocal trax with minimal effects (just compression, eq) and a sub grouped reverb. There's no way the program works this way on a normal basis. Anyone have any ideas? So I have finished my stringing together several files including mp3s I used for accompaniment and my own vocal recordings and I am trying to export my project. I go to File-Export-Mixdown- Entire Section- and finally I change the format to mp3. But for some reason the recorded vocals will not export with my accompaniment. Can anyone help?
Hi,using Audition v13, Win10:is there a plugin for Audition to export the waveform data as JSON – esp. for using it for https://wavesurfer-js.org/faq/ ?Or is there another option/progam for creating these JSON files? Or: is it possible to export waveforms as graphics with Audition? Thanks a lot!mycc

Hi everyone, I don't know exactly how to phrase my issue, so this may be tough. I am using a ROG GU501 gaming laptop, a Behringer U-PHORIA UM2 interface, a Shure SM7B microphone, and a CL1 cloudlifter. Audition is also up tp date. For a while now I have had a LOT of just... Like, tone background noise. So, there is a base level of some sort of noise that is being picked up, so when I record there is just an annoying, garbage buzz in the background. I don't have any compression or effects on any tracks or clips. I haven't changed nay settings in terms of audio hardware or recording. This was not an issue before. I honestly don't know when, but it just, kind of, happened. As many problems seems to do. There may be something that changed, but I just can't figure it out right now. What I do notice is that the noise seems to be a result of, like, my computer itself. When I click the mouse, there is a bump. It isn't liek the fan is constantly going, so it is more as if my sessions
When I open audition all is fine. When I import a file, immediately a weird strange grayish colored haze appears all over the problem making any editing impossible. I do not get any such distortion with any other adobe problems, only when I open an audio file in Audition. No idea at all what that is about.
Using Audition 2020 and a Presonus 68 box for podcast recording. I downloaded drivers and instlled. After setting the hardware preferences, when I go to assign the input options to the channels, I am only give 2 of the 4 input options. The Presonus 68 box has 4 inputs and Auditon is only letting me select either 1/2 OR 3/4 - menaing I can only use 2 of the 4 Presonus lines. Any suggestions?
Does there exist a method of expanding the height of a waveform? I've got one that's really low and I'm trying to match it with some other audio and its near impossible.
Adobi製品の画面がすごくチラツキます(特にAuditionの再生時や各種チュートリアル時) 操作自体に不自由は無いのでおそらくGPU側の問題だとは思いますがイマイチ前例が無く、解決法がわかりません. PC環境Windows10 64bitCPU Core i 7 9700k 3.6GhzGPU Geforce GTX1080ti Memory 16GBHDD 8TB
I've been using Audition to record the audio for a video podcast and have done 9 episodes without any issues but in the 10th episode I have a ton of skips in the audio recorded in Audition. It seems to be happening randomly approximately every 30-90 seconds and skips about 1.5 seconds which I have to break up in the audio file to resync the audio after the skip with the video recording and that leaves a 1.5 gap in the audio recording. My setup is as follows: 2 Tascam TM-80 microphonesBehringer U-Phoria UMC404HD USB interfaceEarly 2015 13" MacBook Pro w/ 2.5Ghz i5 and 8GB memory I'm not running any additional applications during the recording so system stress shouldn't be an issue, and I've never had this happen in any of the first 9 episodes I recorded. Do you guys have any idea what might be causing these skips and what I can do to avoid them in the future?
I've noticed no real answer to an old question. Can Adobe Audition open files in the M4A format? Thanks
I rested my hand on my Mac keyboard and accidentally did this to my cursor. What does it do, and how do I change it back? It's the little cursor thingy in the pink channel, with a blue slash running through it. EDIT: Nevermind, I figured it out! Turns out I managed to get myself into Slip Mode. Fixed it. Thanks,Adam
Hello there, With Audition 2019, I can't understand why I don't obtain the same dB level when I listen to my file in multitrack mode than in edition. Edition mode has a lower level. However, track gain is on 0dB and media gain as well. Thanks
Hi all,I wonder if anyone can tell me if it is possible to set up dynamics processing as a noise gate which is side-chained to a vocal track such that the noise gate is ON when there is no signal from the vocal track sidechain and OFF when there IS a signal from the sidechain input. I realize this is essentially a reverse noise gate! What I'm trying to do is add a "telephone line noise" sample to a character voice in an audiobook production which is itself treated with EQ to give it a telphone-like sound, but I only want the "line noise" when the voice is speaking, not at any other time, e.g. when other characters or narrator are speaking.I'm sure it's possible just can't get my head around how!
On our backup production computer, we have Adobe Audition CS5.5, which I am not familar with . . . and the volunteer that use it is gone. So I have a question. After I have edited 5 20 minute lectures, and I want to save them from an mp3 to a wav, I can't find a place to "save all as" or "batch" them. Is there a function that would allow me to save them all as wavs, instead of having to save them one at a time? Thanks Dean [personal email address redacted - Mod]
Hi. I'm very much an amateur user of Audition. When I edit a file I almost always delete the beginning and end and save the middle. More or less. I always find the spot where I want the file to begin. From there I use Ctrl Shift Home to delete the portion of the file at the beginning that I want to delete. When I find the spot where I want the file to end I use Ctrl Shift End to delete the portion of the file that comes after the part I want. Problem:New laptop does not have a home or end key. Home is on the left arrow and End is on the right arrow. To use these keys as Home and End you have to use the Alt key. But you can't select text using the Ctrl Shift Alt Arrow. Any ideas on a work around? Thanks.
Generally I like to boost my final sound outputs so they play at my right volume for middle volume settings on playbaqck devices. Usually, I seem to need to hard limit (~-2 db). Then the volume is too low, even with the input boost. If this was photography, I would just lift the shadows or middle tones. I'm not finding the way to do that in sound. The dynamics processor shows a curve, but that has NOT done the job. I've messed with the other dynamics, to no success. Anyone? Is this a job for smart compression techniques? Have not made that yet work ok either, but I am a rookie. Working in EDM tracks. Thanks !
I'm using ripple delete to clean up a podcast conversation. Voice 1 - track one (Multiple clips)Voice 2 track two (multiple clips)Music - track 3Noise bed - track 4 How do I ripple delete tracks one and two but leave 3 and 4? Another approach would be to lock 3 and 4 for editing but I haven't found that either. If any of you advanced users can suggest some features or workflow tips that's be great.
After sending a sequence from Premiere Pro 2019 (13.1.5) to Audition (12.1.5), I am able to save the multitrack session, but when I play it, I get no audio playback, and Audition crashes when I click the Multitrack menu, try to select Import/Export, or try to Solo a track. (Strangely enough, I can mute a track without crashing Audition even though I can't Solo a track.) I am on Windows 10 1909 using a Ryzen 7 3700X with 64 GB RAM. I have tried:Sending sequence from Premiere Pro (remove all effects, no video, no pan/volume information)Importing sequence from AuditionSaving Premiere project to a new locationSaving Audition interchange files to a new locationImporting the sequence into a new Premiere Pro project The result has been the same for all of these, leading me to believe there is something in this sequence that is corrupt or problematic. But I don't understand how this is possible, because the audio is all extracted and rendered as new WAV files when sent to Auditi
Adobe audition cuts my last talk plz can anyone help my and told me about effects
