Using Audition 13.0.7 Intermittently the audio sound will decide to play backwards even though it is playing forward in the time line and I have not reversed the track. Why might this be happening?
When I export my final mix back to premiere it only shows audio and doesnt have the video. What did I do wrong?
I finished a project with loyts of little clips in a multitrack session. After saving the finished project, I selected Yes to the option to save the files to a session folder. A folder called Imported Files was saved to the same folder where my Audition file is. (This way I can give the whole project to someone else, including all the source clips, so the guy can make the whole project sound prettier.) Once all the files were saved to the Imported Files folder, all the little clips on the multitrack session were greyed out with questions marks on them. Now I have to select Link Media on all the little clips to connect them back to the project. What happened? And is there any way I can relink the hundreds of little clips without having to use Link Media hundreds of times? All these files are in the same folder. Is there a way to tell Audition to look for all the files in that same folder? (The same folder that Audition made for this project!) In case it matters, ther
64 bit adobe audition 2017 / 64 bit pluginPlugin opens with NO GUI - can't use - no buttons..
I have a clip that is approximately 1:25 that I wanted to speed up to 1:15:17 in Premier. But the sound is horrible. So I unlinked the audio and video in the clip, changed the video time to 1:15:17 in premier, and opened the audio in Audition. Using the time and pitch / stretch to retime the audio to 1:15:17, but when it goes back to Premier the audio is only 1:15:05 seconds, leaving my audio out of sync with the video... I've tried using the same percentage for both audio and video with similar results. I'm guessing this is user error, but I can't see what I'm doing to not get the desired results. How do I get Audition to give me a specific time length so it will sync with my video?? Thanks for your feedback!
I need some support please, because my Audition CS5.5 can't find all the Effect presets that usually can be chosen in the drop down menu. For example during mastering or Hard Limiting and so on.. The pop up says: Can’t find the preset. Is it possible to download them and install them again?Thank you!
I'm recording an audio book. For certain sounds there is a spike/buzz from my narrator. I've been highlighting these individually and then running the noise reduction/restoration process to fix them but it is super time consuming. Is there any reason why I couldn't highlight the entire chapter and run it through the process? Will it eliminate too much overall?
Is there a way to copy several effects you applied to a clip imported in Audition (from Pp) and then apply the same effects to several other clips in PremierePro?
iMAC Adobe Audition (latest) won't record anything. It's so damn frustrating! Samson C02U is working in the input preferences, but won't record in AA. Yes, the default is set right. [Moved to a thread of its own - Mod]
Hello Everyone. If I right-click on my Clips, I can choose Match Clip Loudness. Also, Inside the Window- Match Loudness, I can drag my Clips and use this Feature. I noticed Match Clip Loudness has Target Loudness and Tolerance. and I noticed, Window- Match Loudness has additional Features such as Max True Peak Level, Look-Ahead Time, and Release Time. Which one is better to use? Thank you very much.
As the subject suggests, I experience weird subtle sounds that sound like a staticky stutter that add up when I do parallel processing. This doesn't happen pre-fader so I am wondering what's the problem. Does anybody experience this issue? CS6 never had this but I have it in CC 2020.
I want to export multitrack edition with video reference emmbeded on MP4 or another format trough Adobe Media Enconder export function, but it only export audio with black screen.Regards
Izotope Rx7 has a "mouth declicker" that is very popular with voice over artists. Audition should have a similar functioning feature to fix clicks and mouth noises.
For what CC costs, I shouldn't have to buy REAPER or another program to do something even GARAGE BAND can do. MIDI sequencing is huge part of most professional audio productions these days and I LIKE audition, I don't want to have to switch. PLEASE add just basic sequencing.
Audition is crashing unexpectedly
Hi all, I've just migrated from Protools to Audition and am having some teething problems. I've got a track which has needed a fair bit of RX to clean it up (Voice De-noise, De-hum, De-Click). I've also used some native plugins (DeReverb, multiband compression, Graphic EQ 10 band). Auto fade's enabled so I'm expecting a seamless transition from one cut to the next but instead there's a surge of untreated audio at each edit point, creating a series of interruptions. They range from sounding like electrical surges (presumably from the ground loop which appears on the untreated track) to harsh mic bumps. I assumed this was a latency issue so tried pre-rendering the track, but this didn't solved the issue. I hoped it might be bug which would right itself on export, but the .WAV is exactly the same. Does anyone have any ideas about what could be causing this / how to fix it? It's not something I've ever encountered in PT.
Hello. I'm trying to use a 64-bit VST plugin (Turbine from Boom Library) and acessing it in Audition using Blue Cat Patchwork. The plugin works all fine in my multi-track session. I can hear the sound and all. But, all I need to do it add an automation for that. Basically, I've managed to get a preview of it while playing in multitrack, but, I've no idea how to export the sound. Since there's no sound clip that's generated in Audition, I can't seem to figure out how to export it. I've attached a short video of the working of the plugin. In it you can see, I can hear the sound while in multitrack, but, since, there's no audio track to work on, all multitrack export options are greyed out. It'd be great for me if I can get this to work in Audition itself, because, to me, for pure audio editng, Audition works just perfectly.
I edit a 1-hour long podcast with 4 different people talking and a music track. Audition works great for me and I don't plan on replacing it any time soon. But when I get near the end of my initial edit, I find that it can take up to a second or two for my play head to move to where I click or to begin playback. Now, this wouldn't be an issue, but like I said my initial edit. I still have at least another hour or so of work after the point at which this begins to happen. I am running Adobe Audition version 13.0.7 on Windows 10 version 10.0.18363. I am running both Audition and my audio tracks off of an SSD, I have an 8-core processor clocked at 3.9GHz and 32GB of RAM. I have also recently noticed an issue where about 15% of the time when I save my project, the clips magically unlink themselves so I have to go back and manually relink them. Which would be fine, but I save at least once a minute. And any time I can save not having to relink clips that should not be unlinked would be
While recording a podcast episode, my co-host's recording randomly stopped, and then when she tried to save, Adobe froze and is now not responding. She does not want to lose the recording and doesn't know how to save it. She cleared up space on her laptop, thinking maybe that was the issue, but it is still not responding. She is using Windows 10 and was recording a waveform. Please help if you can!
I've been noticing the "Detected Dropped Samples" warning keeps popping up at the bottom right, sometimes when I record, sometimes when I playback. When I thought that maybe "Smart monitoring" was the cause, I switched over to Direct monitoring - but the issue still occurs. I tried sessions at 44 and sessions at 48. Issue still occurs. I tried with Track FX enabled and disabled. Issue still occurs. I tried enabling/disabling the audio hardware preference "Force hardware to document sample rate...". Issue still occurs. I updated Audition as well as all Focusrite Scarlett drivers/software. Issue still occurs. The ONLY thing I've done where I noticed progress is when I increase my buffer size to OVER 128. At 128 it still happens but extremely rare. However, why would this be a factor when I'm recording with Direct Monitoring?Although I see the warning appear, I don't actually hear any artifacts. So...is it really an issue? I'd rather hear FX without latency and live with the wa
Hi, I would like to hear ONLY the direct input of my mic in Audition while recording but the moment I arm the red R button, which is needed to record, I hear the software processed signal ADDED to my direct monitored mic. This makes is sound a bit phasy as it adds a tiny amount of latency. I don't understand why it's doing this. Isn't that what the orange I button is for? To turn on live monitoring? I'm keeping my "I" button OFF so why does hitting R keep enabling the processed signal to pass thru into my headphones (even if "I" is off)? On that note, what is the purpose of the I button if its functionality of allowing the live monitoring is not independent of the R button? PS> I'm using Focusrite Scarlett 4i4 3rd gen with latest Focusrite drivers and software.
After I used the open append option and uploaded a few files to the clipboard, was it possible to change the order of the files?
I'm using Audition 13.0.7 with Mac Catalina 10.15..When I save a project (sesx) some of the files goes ofline.. If I'll close the project and reopen it they became online untill I save it.. 🙂Any idea?
No matter which bitrate I choose when exporting a mixdown in the mp3 format, it exports at 192k. Is this a bug?
I often work with VO files that come to me as a .wav in which there are multiple takes of certain words or phrases that are recorded sequntially... in other words, the talent simply repeats the phrase or word with a different inflection, sometimes as many as 5 times. I have been cutting the segments and moving them to a new track and aligning them (see image), but I cannot seem to figure out a faster way to jump between takes than soloing and "un-soloing" or muting and unmuting. I set up a loop so it is just the immediately preceding and following few words, but it is still hard to manage to seamlessly swap which is played. I think it's called punching, but I'm not really sure? Either way, this is a huge time suck, and honestly I'm never sure if I'm getting the best combinations because I can't do a quick compare in context. Any suggestions?
