Hi, I'm very new to Audtion, but learning. We have a podcast I am trying to edit. The audio when imported is split. One voice is on the left channel, one voice is on the right channel. It's not like this when you listen to the audio out file in QuickTime. But if you listen to it in Audtion, the tracks are split. Any help would be much appreciated. thanks, Dean.
Hello, my microphone has very bad quality. It worked fine on my other computer, but since I changed it to my laptop, the quality isn't good anymore. I have no idea what to do, if I'm supposed to install something to improve the quality...I don't know. Clearly I'm new to all of this haha. Could anyone please help me?

Newbie here. A lot of video viewers complain that the text-to-speech in video editors sounds robotic and unnatural. It appears to also be the case with Adobe software after listening to the function in YouTube videos talking about Adobe software such as Audition. Amazon Polly (Text-To-Speech) claims to have natural sounding and life-like speech and that appears to be the case. Can I upload Amazon Polly Text-To-Speech into Adobe products such as Audition, Captivate and Adobe Premiere Pro? Is a plugin or other software required to do so? Is there a tutorial on how to do so? Thank you.
When increasing the volume of short bursts of sound, it no longer sounds like the original afterward, which is very poor. I used the Widget or whatever you call it on the screen with +0 dB on it. How can I make the sound louder that matched the fidelity of the not so loud sound? Thanks
Hello Adobe community,I had a very interesting problem that I still can’t find a solution to. The point is that when I record a voice in Adobe Audio Audition, there is a lot of superfluous in the recorded sound .. Let's say some strange sounds or saliva or clicks, well, something like that .. As I understand it, my microphone, RODE-NT | USB is very sensitive and records sounds that make my voice not clear, but with small extra sounds like clicks and so on .. Is it even possible in this program to make them non-existent or at a minimum? Well, or make my microphone less sensitive to voice. I will be extremely grateful to your answer! Thanks one more time,KirkinS
If anyone could help me figure out how to remove the static from the airconditioner and amplify the voices and make them real clear I would be very thankful here they short file
Hi, My soundfloor has gone from -60 to the mid -40s. Please help! Nothing has changed except the upgrade. I tried tweaking the gate on my interface to no avail.
I have solo'd one track and panned it hard left. When I monitor it with in-ear monitors, I can still hear some audio in the opposite channel. I have it panned at 100% Left and with my left monitor out of my ears, I still hear some of that track in the right channel. I double clicked on the file and in waveform view, I muted the right channel. Still didn't effect it. How can I get rid of that signal coming through the opposite channel?
Hi there,i use audition for the most of my audio work, I want to buy a control surface, but they all seem to be optimised for Logic, Pro Tools ect. Anybody know what would be the best one for compatibility for Audition? Thanks!
Serriez vous me guider 😉 ? Merci par avance.
Had to do a hard reset on my laptop all my files were saved to a external hard drive and i have the cloud back up files but im still not able to open prevous projects.. HELP
Hi there, I am currently working on voice-overs in Audition, the recording was captured on an iPhone and sent to me, however, they contain a subtle echo and sound very flat. The main objective is to make the voice-overs sound like they were recorded outside in a city space. I was wondering how I could go about making this? Your help will be most appreciated, any questions feel free to ask.
Hi, i am facing the following problem. I created a multitrac session in Audition. I mixed a file, it simply is a skateboard driving from right to left. The file was recorded using one LR mic and one Mono mic. Everything sounds absolutely perfect in Audition, means if i listen to the track it goes from the right speaker to the left one. But after exporting it as a stereo file it is Mono only. means: I hear exactly the same out of both speakers, no panning (sound does not go from right to left) anymore. If i open the exportet file back in Audition it playes back just fine. What am i doing wrong? Thanks a lot
As a precaution, I sometimes export my session and "save copies of associated files" - when I go to open an exported version the files are corrupt - either all white noise or one channel missing with gaps of silence in the other channel. Has anyone else experienced this?
I'm trying to send my audio from Audition to RX 7 via the connect option.I go to Waveform then I go Effects/VST/Effect/iZoptope inc/RX7 Connect The Effect - RX 7 Connect window will appear but I can't get "Repair" to highlight before hitting apply. I've tried highlighting the waveform, double clicking on it, not having it highlighted and nothing changes... then suddenly it would work. Repair would be highlighted and I could connect to RX 7. Now it seems to have stopped working all together. Please, what do I do? What am i doing wrong? Thanks,JR
I'm using Audition to edit an audiobook at the moment, and one of the chapters that I'm editing has a pretty high noise floor. I have tried the noise reduction process, and adaptive noise reduction, neither of which are giving great results. I then tried some expansion using Dynamics, by putting it in the effects rack. Before I apply the effect and I'm just previewing, it sounds like this alone has basically removed the noise, which is strange because I wasn't expecting expansion to do that much. I then apply the effect to the audio file, and it suddenly sounds much worse; you can hear the noise cutting in and out with the expander, which is kind of what I was expecting it to do. Does anyone have any idea what is going on here? Why does the effect sound so different before it has been applied? I tried restarting the program, and I'm able to fully replicate the issue again and again. I'm getting the feeling it might be an issue with something other than Audition but right now
Hello, I tried to configure a set to make a podcast with USB microphones, the program detects them all but I have to set one as default. When I try to assign the USB microphones to each channel to record simultaneously, only the microphone that I assigned as default appears, the rest of the microphones do not appear. How should I do to be able to record all the microphones at the same time?
I've been using audition to create my podcast. This is the first time I'm opening up these existing multitrack sessions on a new iMac Pro. I have the mic chosen as my input in Audio Hardware. I also have it set as my input on my host track- but yet when it's armed I get no level. I checked System Preferences>Sound to troubleshoot and to see if mty computer recognizes the mic and it sees the mic there. So this one's a real head scratcher. Any feedback or help you could offer would be GREATLY appreciated.
Audition 13.0.1 is available for download from the Creative Cloud desktop application. This update provides stability and performance improvements and is recommended for all users.
Hello,I've been using audition with a Yeti Blue USB mic for a while now. I use it to record an intro to podcast episodes. I plug headphones into the Yeti to monitor the sound and then record. Now when I record my voice also comes out of the iMac speakers. I know I can select the Yeti as the default audio output but it doesn't make any sense to me that the voice would be coming out over the speakers as if this were suddenly a PA system. Any ideas?
I want to create a series of markers (cue or beat) to represent a given time range in a dance track. For example, I know the bpm is 104, sample rate is 44.1k (I usually work in a display time format of samples), the range for an 8-count of beats would be 203538 samples (I work in samples because it's much more accurate than marking 4.615 seconds). I have previously created scripts to mark an audio clip every X number of beats, but this only works for an entire audio clip (for example if I want a short audio clip to be marked by 8 beats - basically splitting the total time by 8, I have created scripts that work fine - script included below). The problem is when I want to use the same script, but only on a highlighted section (or better yet have it work from the cursor forward) - it just doesn't work that way. My guess is that these scripts are percentage based and not necessarily based on X amount of time/samples. I included a sample script of how I would mark an audio clip i
I have been editing some audio and found that sometimes the stop button becomes disabled and it puts at risk any editing I have been doing. The only solution is to stop the programme and restart, at which point the stop button is OK. Am I alone in being affected by this? I was really concerned at it took some time to edit this work. This didn't happen with Cool Edit so what has Adobe done here?
Hi I am editing an audiobook, which means extra attention to even slight flaws that might distract from the intimate connection between the listener's ear and the story. So I am aggravated by an occasional hiss that comes up under the narration. I have tried all the usual methods for filtering this out, and cannot get it. Editing on an iMac running High Sierra, version 10.13.6, with Audition 2020 13.01.35.I've attached a sample of where this occurs. Any suggestions? Thanks Rob
