Hey everyone,So I was going all crazy in karaoke mode, having a preset done to my voice adding reverb, noice cancellation etc in real-time when the sound suddenly stopped working.Allow me to elaborate: With a preset of reverb, noice cancellation and pitch, I was recording myself sing and adding music to it afterwards.This was going fine, and I was almost done when the sound suddenly stopped working. I tried to do playbacks on my own voice but got nothing. This had previously been working up to that point.The only time I get this to work now is if I use virtual audio cable(which I use to get good voice on skype, discord etc)'s additional program "Audio Repeater". As long this is set to repeating what I am saying, I get to hear the sounds I recorded on adobe audio CC.So... what can I do to not have to have the audio repeater running and still be able to hear my voice in playback like I just had? :S I didn't change any settings at all.Also, sorry for the messy explanation.

When sending a clip from Ppro to Audition for repair work the reference file always comes back as Non-Drop Frame TC, which is strange since I'm always working in Drop Frame. In order to get the TC to match properly I have to go into modify clip properties and manually set the TC back to Drop. Is there some preference setting in either Audition or Ppro that will get it to send back the same type of TC I started with? This is an amazingly annoying PITA in what is otherwise a wonderful feature of Ppro.By the way I'm working with the latest release of PPro and Audition, on a Mac Pro and cutting ProRes 1080P30.

Hello There,I have a weird issue.I wanted to control my loudness level on some sounds. All was working fine, loudness was detected correctly, but for a group of sound, it's impossible to make the loudness meter work. The ITU Column remains empty.I tried to delete all, refresh and stuff, but this group of sounds keeps having the ITU column empty. Is there something I missed? Thanks !

HelloFor some reason, in Audition ( latest version I think, on a Mac ) my space bar has ceased to perform stop and start playback and now only records. I've tried to remove that command from the keyboard short cuts menu but it's still doing it - any suggestions, please? it's driving me insane! Many thanks.

I'm having a hard time figuring out how to route channels through multiple buses?I have all tracks running through Bus A which feeds my Virtual 1-2 in my UA console for my cues.I'd like to route all the drums into a unique Bus for quick mixing.When I try to add another Bus to a channel...there's only the option to select 1 Bus.What am I missing?THANKS!

Looking for any advice or links to tutorials on how to optimize audio playback on smartphones.Audio tracks on my videos sound good when playback is over traditional speakers. However, on smartphones often background or music beds are not heard mixed with voice, etc. I am guessing that sounds/music/voice need to be kept in closer db range to optimize playback on smartphones.With most web content being viewed on smartphones, I was hoping to find a tutorial or best practices for optimizing audio playback on those devices while maintaining clarity on traditional audio systems.Any help/advice/direction would be greatly appreciated!Thanks!~

Hi I have some audio files and when viewed in windows explorer there are fields like Name, Title, Artist, SizeHow can I edit this information in Audition. Specifically I would like the Title field edited as this is picked up by some audio players.

I've been working on a multitrack project in audition for a long time, never experienced this problem beforeYesterday I was doing literally final touches to the session, switching audio output between tv and speakers (I don't know if that's relevant). Everything seemed to be perfectly synced.At some point my video preview started to delay, and the audio began to be out out of sync (important - the beginning of the video WAS and still is in sync, for some reason. Disprepancies happen later). I cleaned the software's cache, thinking it was the performance issue. It was not.When exported to Premiere Pro, the same problem happens. Changing sample rates and frame rates didnt help, or I might do the wrong settings. Previous versions of the project began to be out of sync too.Exported video also has delayPlease let me know what kind of information do you require to help me find a solution for this problem.I don't recall doing anything else to make this happen. This menu optionClip -> Silence selected clips in time selectionBehaves differently for two separate tracks in the multitrack editor, and I can't fathom why.On one track (the desired functionality) it simply silences the selected audio, but on the other it sets two keyframes at -inf and hence affects the entire track.Does anyone have any idea what has caused this? Hello,I have multiple files that I want to increase the volume to be at a more normal level, but I noticed that when the volume is increased, I can hear some "clicks", a little bit of distortion, even though it's not too loud. What is happening? What do i do to avoid that?Thank you.

I want to put together several versions of a song that will have guitar backing (real recordings by me) with overlays of wind instruments, particularly flute. My partner will be doing the simple flute parts with a real flute, but when it comes to the more complicated solo flute segments – in a separate version of the same song – I may have to use a software flute, or other woodwind. And I want the best, outside of using a real instrument.GarageBand offers software instruments, but I'd rather not have it cluttering my system. So my questions are:1. Hello community,First of all I am relatively new to using Audition, and I have switched to using it for the audio post production work and sound mixes i do on videos.The problem I have encountered, is that i have recently started a project with an OMF and video from a client, but now there is a new version of the video edit, which includes a new sequence. I want to know if there is a good method of being able to easily transfer the new OMF with audio and video into my already existing audition session, which i have done extensive mixing and sound post in already...I'm trying to think of what might be the best way to go about this? Would be great to know if anyone has answers Thanks in advance

Hi,when transferring a vinyl or shellac you sometimes have a surface scratch and consequently a very regular issue.How can I tell Adobe Audition (CC 2017, Mac) to fix this. Is there a way to apply e.g. the healing tool every 2 sec automatically?I hope you know what I mean.ThanksTristan

Hello everyone,First off, I have to point out i'm fairly new at Audition, so my lingo might not be on point for this.Basically, I have a single track project opened in Audition with a couple of effects in the rack. But whenever i try to apply these effects to the audio, some parts of it are missing on the resulting track. It's not like Audition cut the track and rearranged it; the file has the same duration as before only with some audio data missing always in the same areas.I couldn't seem to find anything that would even talk about this kind of issue anywhere on the internet. Can anyone here please help?

I've been using Audition 3.0 for several years. When I'd open it, it looked like thisToday I clicked some wrong button somewhere and got a blank, empty window: Main, Transport, Time, Zoom, Selection/View, Sessions Properties are all missing.How do I get them back? Is there some Default setting somewhere that sets up the window like above?

Hello,I'm running a MacBook Pro with MacOS Sierra (10.12) and have the monthly Adobe CC subscription, so I am able to download any of the Adobe CC products when needed.  I'm currently running Adobe Photoshop CC, Illustrator CC, Premiere Pro CC, Media Encoder CC, Camera RAW CC and Acrobat DC without any type of issues at all.  I recently wanted to download and run Adobe Audition CC (2017), so I downloaded it from the CC panel and installed it from there and when I go to open Audition, it comes up with the following "Fatal Error" dialog box:How do I fix this issue?  I haven't had this error with any of my other Adobe products and I don't understand why I can't use Audition considering everything else works perfectly fine.Thanks!Mat
