I'm not much into posting in forums and stuff, so excuse me if I'm not posting my question in the right place. I just had one serious question!!! In the free version of adobe podcast, it used to export the audio files in WAV regardless of my input file format. I have just shifted into the trial version, and to my surprise, all of my podcasts are now downloaded in Mp3 64Kbps!!! I searched the sit high and low, but i couldn't find any option as to how i can change this setting. Although mp3 64 seems to be fine for a talking podcast, but I have a personal preference for Mp3 128 at least. Is there any way i could change this setting, or is there anything I'm not doing right here? I'm just importing my mp3 podcast and wait for the enhancement process to finish, and then I press download. It is not rocket science, I guess!! Yet, now I'm getting Mp3 64! I'd appreciate it if you could help me with that. [Mod note: Gets a thread of its own]
New user question, thanks in advance for any help provided. a friend and I recorded a podcast using the Hollyland lark max system. We both were miced and it recorded our audio an separate tracks. I entered the two files into the mixer to begin playing around. The very first issue I have is that our voices were picked up on the opposite persons mic so there are spots that you hear me speak but shortly after the same sentence is heard coming from my friends mic. I hope that makes sense I couldn't get Google to understand. Is there a way to remove that audio from each others track?
Hello, I am editing a video that was provided to me. However, the footage was filmed in a noisy public location. I am trying to find ways to minimize the background chatter, which is really loud. I understand it's probably impossible to get it all out completely however, I just wanna minimize it the best I can without it affecting the main voice of the speakers. The denoise affect doesn't do much and starts affecting the speaker's voice.Help is appreciated!
Hey, the Adobe Podcast page hasn't been able to load for a while. I've loaded it a few times and it keeps showing this message in Console.
I have a podcast where the guest mic was too high making the audio hot. Is there a way to maybe fix it in a way it wouldn't be so jarring? Any help is appreciated.
I have a Premium subscription to Adobe AI speech (podcast) enhancement. The resulting file is worse than the original. A strange warble is added to the voice that is not present in the original audio file. I tried to see if I could play with the percentage enhancement to see if it would make a difference, but it seems permanently fixed at 90%. (I can move the setting on the % bar, but it still yields a 90% enhancement.)
Hi, I recorded a podcast where unfortunately on the day of recording there was some intense construction in the background (banging sounds). I tried the enhance on it and while it takes out the sound it also distorts the voice and makes it choppy. Does anyone have any tips on a workaround? I dont mind a milk background sound as long as the voice is clear. The other option is to wait for enhance v2 to come out but it's already October and it's still not out.
Hi !Hi guys, I work with Premiere Pro but someone told me to post this question here.... please note that I never used Audition so I may need help even for opening my file, or connect the Audition functions from Premiere. I have a studio recording of an interview. The organizer provided the two people with two different microphones, so the voice of one has a perfect volume, the other is too high, even clipping every now and then. I would like to know if there is a system, a filter, to equalize these two different volumes a little, without having to cut and separate the clips of the two people. There are so many questions and answers in this video and I absolutely have no time to work with the cuts at every change of person....Thank you ! PS: I have a regular subscription to Creative Clouds so I am using the latest versions and I have also the last Beta
Hello all,I wanted to ask if you also have problems with speech encnhancement. I can insert the file (wav), but the file is not finished processing. I had it edited several times for over an hour. Otherwise it took 1 to 2 MInutes. Is everything running as usual for you guys, is the problem with me`?
If I pay for Adobe Creative Cloud and use Audition, do I get the same features I have in Adobe Podcast? I was thinking about starting to pay for Adobe CC but don't want to pay yet another monthly subscription to get the podcast enhancer AI feature.
To whom it may concern, Heres my issue, I just recorded a session using Adobe Audition with Xvox effects applied to a few vocal tracks. The first time I exported it with the effects and did a car test it was fine but I decided to redo a couple of recordings in my session with the Xvox effects still applied, then I exported it, did another car test and I expierenced flapping noises or popping during the vocal recordings. Does anyone know what this could be or have a solution? P.S. Sorry if I didn't explain myself better but if you have any questions feel free to ask. Thank you
I want to eliminate the persistent, tiny yet audible clicks in my Yeti Blue Pro voice recordings on Windows 10.In my research online I found that there are several potential causes and solutions, most of which I have already addressed. One potential solutionrelated to Audition is to increase the buffer size. An AI article says :Go to Edit > Preferences> Audio Hardware and increase the buffer size.. A larger buffer will reduce the likelihood of clicks but may increase latency, so balance this based on your needs. Ok. Except that there is NO buffer setting in Audition, only Latency - unless this is the buffer labelled LATENCY (just to confuse everyone). In Audacity I used to use some years ago, Buffer and Latency were two separate settings. Go figure. Is this the actual buffer size setting? if so, I have it already set at the max 500 ms and yet the clicks continue. Removing them is very time consuming, as the Diagno
Is there a way to monitor my plugins cpu? I'm trying to create the best template for recording, using the lightest plugins possible. Was wondering if there is a meter in Adobe that shows CPU usage or a 3rd party software to monitor? Thanks
I edit a lot of narration, and have yet to find a plugin (or the ideal plugin settings) to remove breaths that doesn't also take bites of sibiliance and other stuff I want to keep. This mean my cursor makes many a trip to the HUD volume wheel to turn down breath volume. I have a MIDI controller, the M-Wave SMC Mixer. It works with my DAW, and it LOOKS like I've been able to get Audition to recognize it. But I'm having trouble finding1) What to assign as the input fader. I realize this is more specific to the device, having less to do with Adobe Audition.2) Where I could assign a knob/fader to the HUD volume control, assuming I could do #1Anybody have any ideas?
What are the first thing that should be done to a soundtrack; and in what order, before fine tuning the dynamics?
I am regularly frustrated by Audition's locked-in name format for Markers: [Space]00 –First of all, what is the [Space] for? What purpose does it serve?Secondly, if I have over 99 markers, I want to be able to export them (to .csv) in a numbered sequence, and other software will have [Space]100 before [Space]02 (because of course, the [Space] makes it alphabetic, not numerical!)Thirdly, while sequential numbering is automatic (that is good: after creating Marker [Space]39 the next one is automatically number [Space]40), when I have 100s of them & need to shut down after [Space]350 & come back tomorrow, Audition resets to [Space]01!!! And I can't very simply set the sequence to begin at 351 (or even [Space]351)!I could do this decades ago already in SoundForge.Am I missing something? Otherwise, how can I do this and when will Adobe make this very simple ergonomic adjustment?
Now I've got a new problem:Parametric Equiliser is not working properly in Multitrack. The wave is not showing, after the first few seconds it freezes up and then disappears. Also when I run it, it makes crackling noise every few seconds. It works fine in Waveform, but I need to use it in Multitrack as for some reason the auduio has a different quality in Waveform than in Multitrack. Since I'm mixing the Multitrack, it is more important and that is where I need to do all the mastering. I've never had this issue before - any thoughts on how to fix it?thanks
Hi there, I'm thinking of upgrading from Windows 10 to Windows 11. Audition is the primary program I use. Has anyone here had any issues using Audition on Windows 11? Thanks!
Audition 25.0.0.47 on an M3 Max MBPFor ducking voices on a three way interview.I created 3 stereo tracks and 3 mono busses. Track 1, Track 2 and Track 3, Bus 1, Bus2, Bus 3.On each track there is an instance of Izotope Neutron 4 Compressor in FX slot 1.Bus 1 Send 1 is routed to Side-Chain>Neutron 4 Compressor (Track 1 - Slot 1)Bus 2 Send 1 is routed to Side-Chain>Neutron 4 Compressor (Track 2 - Slot 1)Bus 3 Send 1 is routed to Side-Chain>Neutron 4 Compressor (Track 3 - Slot 1) Track 1 Send 1 is routed to Bus 2Track 1 Send 2 is routed to Bus 3 Now when I try to Route Track 2 Send 1 to Bus 1, the only option available is Bus 3, I can't send to Bus 1, and if I send to Bus 3 from Track 2 I can't send to any bus from Track 3. So Bus 3 is now getting audio from Tracks 1 & 2 and sending that audio to the side-chain input of the compressor on Track 3, as expected, but the other busses are only getting one input each. It seems like the sends are disabled because Audi
Hello All,I'm using Audition v.25.0.0.47 on a Windows 11 PC, and I'm having problems with mapping 5.1 channels. My PC is is connected to a Denon receiver. In the Audition audio hardware settings I have the default output and the clock set to my home theatre speakers. That's the Denon. But when I go to channel mapping, it only has options for the L and R channels. Everything else is unavailable. I've been through every option I can find, and have watched numerous tutorials over the last few days, and I cannot figure out what I'm doing wrong. Any assistance is appreciated.thanks!
Audition 24.6.3.2, 2023 MBP M2 Pro, Sonoma 14.4.1, Samsung 4TB SSDI've imported a WAV file into a new project, placed it into a multitrack session to trim the head and tail (church sermon), and exported a 192Kbps MP3, just under 23 minutes long. The MP3 is needed elsewhere as-is, but I do import the cleaned-up file back into my project and place it in the multitrack. The file shows up grayed out, doing some sort of conform process, with a time estimate that grows from just over an hour to nearly nine hours. I let the process run and, after about 45 seconds, the clip shows up normal and we're ready to work with it. The first couple of times this happened, I force-quit Audition and exported a WAV file instead, but I'm trying to keep my year-long project folder to a reasonable size, hence the MP3. Today I let the process finish and all seems well, except for this apparent bug. Thoughts?
I have tracks that are MP3 files - mono, 192 - they came from mono 44100 32 bit. I can look at them and play them as single tracks, but if I drag them to a multi-track session the file turns into static.
Hello, I created an audiobook with 16 markers. Then I exported all files to separate mp3 files. 2 of the files where destroyed: they had at the end a strange loop of words or even a part of a text from a completely different chapter (marker). It seems that it appears only at the end of some files.Because I didn't recognize, I uploaded the files to audible - GREAT! Can somebody explain this?Did someone have the same problem?I am using Adobe Audition latest version 11/2024 Regards,Mario
It would be great if Audition could sync multiple tracks from different sources / files like in premiere pro.We record a pod cast and use a few different recording sources. It would be great if Audition could sync the files so they were in time with each other.
A few weeks ago I encountered an issue with the Delete Silence process. I have tried many different settings to define silence and audio, I do "Find levels" and then "Scan" but then nothing happens, there is absolutely no list that appears with the silences. I have since then done this manually but I'd like to know if there's a known workaround for the future or if I did something wrong? I'm on Windows.
