     I'm using Audition on Windows 10 and I'm having a problem trying to import video into the program.  Every time I try I get an error message stating, basically, telling me that "something has gone wrong and Audition has stopped working. Windows will close the application and inform you when a solution is found".This is for any video I import. Audio tracks load okay, just not video.  I can't import stuff from Premier! I've looked online for help to no avail, and I have uninstalled and reinstalled a few times still nothing.  I'm a film student and I have a sound project that I need to do.  The school has mac computers and this where I received my video. Any help in this matter would be greatly appreciated.

I'm having a problem recording Internet audio with Audition 3 on Windows 7 using Sound Max.This problem began last week. Before that this combination has been working great for many years without any problems at all.When I'm recording Internet stream I open "Stereo Mix" channel. I used to adjust the channel 2/3 open and in this point the recording level was fine and the recording used to go smoothly and the result was fine. But now when I open the ""Stereo Mix" only a tiny bit the right channel go "red level" and other channel goes almost the same level. When I play back the recording there is no audio at all but only some static noise.I can't understand what has happened? Do I need to install AA3 or SoundMax again? Any help would be very much appreciated. Tony

Hey,So I recorded a podcast recently. We didn't have our regular gear so we had to improvise. We recorded two mics into a Tascam recorder an the third direct into Audition. The Tascam tracks recorded at 44100 and the Audition track at 48000. Audition says it converts the sample rate when I drag it into the multitrack session but they still run out of sync with each other. I can get them timed up near perfectly at the beginning of the recording but as the recording progresses they get more and more out of sync. It sounds like the track recorded at 48000 gets ahead of the 44100 (which makes sense) but shouldn't they be able to sync perfectly if they are bring converted in the project?

So I'll make this brief. Until recently (The latest update) I had a solid routine going where I would record and sync my audio tracks and have hardly an issue at all. Lately, when I upload my audio from Audition toPremierr Pro, I have a synching issue that runs the entire course of my audio. But this is really weird. While my dialog is going, the two tracks remain perfectly in sync, no lag at all. But if there is a gap or "dead air" my Audition audio seems to skip, as if the recording edited out a second or two of my silence. This is causing massive delays in what should be the easy part of my editing. I just can't figure out what would cause this to happen only when there are silent gaps. I'm currently fixing the issues, but this is something I need to solve or else I will have to look at other audio capture options. If anyone has any thoughts please let me know.

I do a normalize process, multiband compressor process, capture a noise print, so far so good. then apply the noise reduction which causes audition to hang and then crash. This just started with the latest update of cc. I've uninstalled the program and then reinstalled it and it didn't fix the problem. Is anyone else having this problem?

hii was watching some tutorials and i found this screenshotsit's about cc 2014i'm using cc 2017 and mostly 2015 more stable under w10in short i can't find how customize the color of the right or left channel like the screenshot (taken form adobe blog)thanks

Never had this problem until I updated to 2017 Audition now my iZotope pluggins like Ozone shut down Audition when loaded. Any Idea?

Hey, this is just like the headline says. I'm trying to rollback my version of Audition, due to a glitch in the latest update (5/10/17) that causes the program to crash. Specifically, when applying noise reduction.I've followed the steps, removing the program, going back to CC, selecting See all apps. So far, so good, except that the "See previous versions" option does not appear. It simply does not exist, apparently.Of course, I'm on a deadline, so it's urgent, but chat is closed at the moment.Help?!

Is there a way of turning off sort order so that I can arrange a series of clips in the order I want in the files window, rather than them defaulting to alphabetical order.

Hello everyone.. I ran into an issues with Audition CS6 running on a Win7 machine with the Intel HD 530 integrated video. During playback and recording, the audio would cutout for an instant during the time any other program was opened or if any existing applications windows were minimized or restored. It was recreated on other workstations including other brands, ie HP, Lenovo. The common elements were the Intel HD 530 onboard video and running one of the Classic Desktop themes. Switching back to an Aero theme fixed the problem. Hope you find this helpful.. Rob

I no longer have VST effects that are listed in Audition CCFor whatever reason they are still showing up under my effect list and they won't go away.I reset the folders to be displayed, and still they are trying to show up.  I cannot get rid of them in anyway.  Those .dll's and vst3 files do not even exist in the folders that they are trying to point to.Thoughts??

Hello,I have both an Acer Aspire Touch V5 and a Lenovo Ideapad s400 touch. My Lenovo laptop is down and I am waiting on an adapter to be delivered. Meanwhile I am using the Acer Aspire laptop. And on both computer I've had the blue screen of death. On the Lenovo it happened two weeks ago. On the Aspire it happened two days ago. couple of times when I had the blue screen of death, I was working on Audition and when it restart again, it didn't save. I did tried to install updates, that didn't work. I am wondering if Adobe Audition is unstable and how to fix this and why is it not saving projects? And does anybody else have this problem? And I will download the blue screen of death when you request it.

hiI just upgraded to the latest Audition 2017 CC, and I can't apply a Noise Removal filter without the program crashing and disappearing.It never did this before in all the versions I've used.The pattern is this: I capture a Noise print sample, I openthe Noise Reduction filter, then I press the "play" arrow topreview the NR settings, and the program simply disappears.It's happened 3 times in a row.I'm on a 2011 iMac with 12 G of Ram, and lots of HD space.OSX / el capitan 10.11.16.thanks for any suggestions.

Hi everybodyI hope someone can help me with this... I'm probably doing something very simple very wrongly...I have a multitrack session with 2 mono recording tracks, 2 mono buses and the master track.each of the mono tracks is output to 1 of the buses, and the buses themselves output to the master track.The problem I have is that, no mare how much I move the Pan control on the buses, when I render a mixdown, all the audio is always on the left channel, even though when I play the multitrack session for previewing, the panning works just fine.Lastly, I should point out that the recording tracks are routed to the busses via sends, not via regular output. If I use the regular output, it works just fine, but, because of my setup, I rather use the regular output as a return channel for my audio interface; otherwise, I would have to create a bus for every single input.Any ideas what could be the problem?Thanks in advance for the help

It started when I tried to start noise reduction on a 5 minute wav.now when I goto effect>noise reduction it crashes every time.I have tried clearing the media cache. Is there anything else I can clear to get it to work?

I love using the skip select feature in Audition CC but, I would like to be able to adjust the offset to any time I want. I find it starts with too little pre-roll to get an idea of either the beat of the music or dialouge and the same after the jump. Is this an adjustment somewhere or not available?

I recently updated to the latest version of adobe and I absolutely hate it. None of my compressors are working properly, they all give this grainy distorted tone whenever i activate them. I'm not having this issue during the recording process or any other plugins, it only happens when I use the compressors. Does anyone know how I can fix this? Or restore audition to the previous version?

I have this really long podcast, that is made up of sections, section 1, 2, and 3. I have this edited as an MP3 file, for people to listen to. But I'd like to create some type of file that allows users to skip to the different sections in the podcast. Is there a way to do this in Audition through a single file? Or are my only options either creating separate audio tracks or a CD? Thing is I want users to be able to download it, so I don't think you could download a CD, maybe some type of playlist file?Would appreciate any suggestions or help.

Hey guys,I am wondering why i don't see the 2 features 'Metronome' and 'Global Clip Stretching' in my CS 5.5 Audition on Mac (running on current Sierra).I already tried:- activate it at 'clip' > ... and 'effects' > ... - there is just no feature in any of the menu-dropdowns- repare it via install fileSo any Idea what I could try to get these 2 important features?Thanks so much,Luca

Hi, I've set Audition up to record my TD30 drum kit via the 8 direct outs to a Behringer X32 Producer, USB connected to a laptop using the X-USB facility.  Setup was relatively easy and the mono channels 1 to 4 are behaving as expected, but I'm having trouble with the stereo outputs 5,6,7 & 8.  I can set channel 5 as S5 in the drop down menu in the channel settings, but on channel 6 I don't get the option for even numbers in the drop down menu.  Same for channel 8.  Why would that be?Channel 5 is Toms L and Channel 6 is Toms R.  When I play any of the 4 toms everything comes in on both channels 5 and 6.Any help appreciated, thank you.

Hi guys,So I've been searching for this answer for at least a year, and I can't seem to find anyone that has had a perfect result with removing the bgm from a tv show. I found some videos on YouTube where people could remove the bgm, but if I ask them how they did it, they just don't answer..Example:The original video from 'Power Rangers Dino Supercharge' with the real bgm and audio:Power Rangers Dino Super Charge - Forged Under Fire - Power Rangers vs Singe - YouTube And then the edited video (it even has no bgm in the beginning):Dino Charge: Supercharge mode - Music edit - YouTube I really don't get how he did it, since at this time, the show wasn't even out on DVD, so he just had the TV airings. I myself already used the 'Centre Channel Extractor' but it didn't really help. I got results, but they weren't as good as the one from the video above.I really hope that someone can help me here.

Was suddenly having choppy / stuttering / dropouts playback in Audition, so I did a clean Mac OS El Capitan install onto another drive, with only Audition installed.  Nothing else running or installed at all.The playback will stutter every few seconds using a Blackmagic Decklink PCI card for Audio out in using the latest Audition.Quicktime player is fine, no issues.  I then installed Final Cut Pro X just to check and the playback is fine there, too.  So it's something in the Adobe world.Did PRAM and SMC fixes to no effects.  Again, this is a completely clean install.  The buffer size is max size.Okay, just wondering if anyone else is having the problem.  Thanks.

Hello,I have been having this problem with Audition since December 2016.Mastering or Compressig presets won't load. Do you know how to solve the problem ? I tries uninstalling the creative cloud, but it didn't work...Thank you

I was recording into audition CS6, and the for 20-25 minutes the waveform was proceeding as normal, displaying the sound that was being recorded. Suddenly, the audio region stopped advancing to the right. I paused the recording, and when I did the region went grey (displaying an unlinked audio region with no associated file). When I opened the audio file in the project folder, it was blank.Has anyone had this happen? Does the mac save a backup or archive of the recording in progress?
