After choosing a time frame, scanning it through frequency analyzer window and then clicking copy all graph data, when I pasted I just got one row with 4 cells containing Freq, left, right an mean (it’s a stereo WAV). All data are just not transmitted. I fixed this issue by downloading an older version, so I believe it’s a new problem.
Since my update to Audition v 26.3 the Amplitude Statistics display shows my display has changed to show more digits than before, changing from 2 numbers after the decimal point to 15 numbers after the decimal point. I can't seem to change it, very annoying as I have to stretch the column width open to see the first digits before the decimal point, plus it won’t keep the column width every time I go away from it.
Adobe Audition 26.3.0.79 on macOS 15.6.1 (24G90), Mac Studio, Apple M4 Max Open a mono audio aif file Go to menu Window > Amplitude Statistics Click “Scan Selection”Result: The number format of all amplitude values is rendered totally unreadable (see attached screenshot)Regression:Since I am using the Amplitude Statistics quite regularly, I assume that this bugs was introduced recently.[Moved to Audition by a moderator]
See this discussion. Just thought it should be a bug report, not a question!….and I meant far, not for..argh!
As of June 17th 2026, the tools and edit is not working I don’t receive an error but the menu bar is just blank sometimes it’ll come up, but when I hit “organize” the next screen is blank I’ve done all the things. Updated, uninstalled, reinstalled.it’s still happening
I regularly use several apps in parallel when I’m working with audio (Audition, Cubase, MATLAB, Amazing Slow Downer, etc.) and often, when I switch back to Audition, it has stopped responding, and requires that I do a Force Quit to work with it again.A second bug related to this: when it happens, and I double-click the file I was working with (to restart Audition), I’m told that a previous session ended unexpectedly, and I’m offered the Later/Delete/Open choice about what to do with the recovered session. Since I want to ignore the recovered session and start over (with the file I’m trying to open), I select Delete, but this results in an empty session; I have to quit and double-click the file again.
When opening various VST plugins (from UAD to FabFilter), the plugin interface screens are blank. Just black. If I close the plugin and re-open, they are normal. I can still execute the plugin from the blank screen, but obviously can’t adjust anything. This just started happening a week or so ago.
Auto Save is not functioning properly in Adobe Audition. It fails seemingly at random. After hours of continuous work and attempting to open a version from five, ten, or twenty minutes ago, I navigate to my Auto Save folder and there are gaps of two to three hours.I am running version 25.0.0.56 on a 2021 MacBook Pro, Tahoe 26.5. My Auto Save folder is set to Documents/Audition Auto Save on my MacBook internal hard drive. I am working on the sound design of a feature film broken up into five 20 minute reels, and each reel is its own project file. I am referring to Multitrack projects, and the issue of Multitrack projects not Auto Saving. My Auto Save settings are to save a backup every three minutes, with a maximum of 10 files. I should also note that the limit of 10 does not hold true either, necessarily, sometimes it is more than 10 files. I first noticed the Auto Save malfunction when anyone would--when I messed something up, saved, and wanted to revert to a version from five or ten
contextual; Several different VSTs installed, OS is Win11, 64bit system, good expensive system, clean installs of everything, is a new pc.Problem: not a single VST can be found.Adobe Audition > VST plugin manager > scan for plugins > “nothing found”Tried everything. VSTs are 64bit, system is 64bit, app is 64bit.tried; Steinberg, Slate drums, and a bunch of others.have read up many others having same issue in forums with no responses or fixes.
Every time I double click a track on the multitrack view to edit it in the waveform view, and then try to record, the input level halves or is reduced even more. If I go back out and then go back in to record again, the input level gets even smaller. This bug is HUGE and is ruining my workflow.
Hi, I'm using the latest version of Audition and this bug has finally got on my nerves enough to actually post about it.In some cases when using batch process and using a custom favorite chain (with specific first-party and third-party VST3 plugins), the audio file comes out damaged, like some parts of other audio files in the batch list get pasted into the opened audio file, in random spots. This is not a common thing to happen and happens very rarely but it is too big of a bug to ignore, as I have to then constantly check if all files were processed successfully without glitches and is really a time waster when you get to more than 50 files. Please fix this as this problem has been present since I started using Audition CC (CC2021, or maybe even older), so it's been going on for too long! It's a rare thing to happen but still worthy of posting. Currently using Audition CC v24.6 (Build 24.6.0.69) on Apple M2 Max, macOS Sonoma 14.6.1
I make use of a .docx file to document the edits I need to make in the sound file. The image below shows the .docx files for the edits for July 19 and 26. I also had a .docx file for 260712.I can save the edited sound file without any issue. However, as soon as I save my multitrack session (.sesx), the .docx file disappears. At first I thought it might just have been deleted, but I can neither find it in the recycle bin nor recover it with an undelete app. This happens every time I save a session.None of the other files are affected.Steps to reproduce:Create or place a .docx file in the same working folder as the Audition project Work on and save audio edits normally Save the multitrack session (.sesx) The .docx file disappears immediately after saving the sessionExpected result:The .docx file remains untouched in the folder.Actual result:The .docx file disappears completely (not in recycle bin, not recoverable).System details:Adobe Audition version: 26.0.0056 Operating system:Windows 1
I have been trying to download the enhanced audio but nothing happens when I press download. Is anyone else facing this issue?
Audition 24.*.*windows 64 bit. Every time i click on of off a file it loads a new set of markers for the project. one for the timeline then ones for the file selected. This is, I believe causeing some issues, and after some time the software starts to lock up, show fonts weirdly and not even print the menu text on screen. Until it locks up fully and crashes. ( iusually save and quit now before this happens - every 15-40 minutes)Can we get a toggle to turn of file markers and only display timeline ones. Please?I do not need markers on indvdual files. It's really effecting my workflow.
Mac Audition 2024. If I try to use batch process with Export checked, it completely screws up the metadata with some random metadata from files that aren't even open. Doesn't matter if a favorite is selected or not. I don't even know how it's finding that metadata to load. The temp and media cache locations have been completely cleared.
I have to think this is a bug. When I edit and save something in Audition, instead of just adjusting the Data Modified and keeping the Date Created (like Izotope RX and XLD do for example), it overwrites the Date Created with the current date/time. I can't have this happen. What's going on?
I was trying to generate a logarithmic sweep (log sweep) signal. Specifically, I wanted to create a log sweep starting at 50 Hz and sweeping up to 15 kHz over 5 seconds, while maintaining a constant signal level of 0 dBFS from start to end.Of course, I set up a 48 kHz sample rate with 32-bit float. However, when I check the generated file, the sweep clearly exceeds the intended 15 kHz limit and continues all the way up to nearly 20 kHz. Additionally, once it goes beyond 20 kHz, the level drops by about 3 dB and the signal continues at that reduced amplitude. This issue doesn’t occur in other audio editing programs. I also tested it with Python code, and there were no such problems. So I’m wondering — why does this only happen in Adobe Audition?
Returned to work from vacation to find Audition had updated itself while I was away. New version is 26.0.0.56 Build. When I try to open sessions I produced in Audition 25.3.0.71, Audition comes up with the Can’t find all Media pop-up and wants me to link to the Media. When I try to link media (even if I manually try to link the media by right-clicking on the clip and selecting Link Media, it doesn’t work. I cannot seem to open old sessions with the new 2026 version. In my workplace, (radio station) I have to save all sessions to a OneDrive, accessible to all producers across the country, so anyone can work on anything. I have not tried to open an old session from my local HDD. (yet) I have reverted back to Audition 2025 so I can complete my work. Audition 2025 still opens everything normally… even from the Company OneDrive.
In Audition 26 (and for some unknown amount of time), clip markers are not functioning as expected, and the menu commands provides incorrect guidance. Here’s a video explaining and demonstrating the issues: https://screen.studio/share/Fy5mcjfb
I will got to the waveform editor, select the section I need to edit, and apply the RX Connect Repair plugin. I edit my clip, send back through iZotope RX, then click apply for the changes to set. After the changes are applied, Audition will stop recognizing my audio interface. I will have to close Audition, unplug my device, plug it back in, and restart Audition. I will usually have to reset it in the device manager as well. Starting happening after a Windows 11 update.
26.0.0.56Every time I open *.aac files, it cuts off part of the track at the end. Sometimes it's a few seconds, sometimes several dozen seconds.
In multitrack editing, if you use audio track stretching, the wave is displayed incorrectly when scaling. In my work, I need maximum precision down to the beat, but due to a display bug, I cannot achieve this, since at one scale the wave is in one place, and if you change the scale a little, the wave is already in a different place. This bug was not in version 2023, but appeared starting from 2024Windows 112023 23.6.1.32024 24.4.1.3
Audition completely unusable. It launches, displays the Learn Panel, and then freezes within 5–10 seconds. The UI becomes unresponsive: Menu items turn gray, the Learn Panel shows a blue highlight border, and the application stops, freezes my entire system & requires a hard reboot. This happens with every single launch, even after “clean” reinstalls and resets!I have fully uninstalled Audition, Creative Cloud, and all other Adobe apps. I have manually deleted all Adobe folders in Program Files, Program Files (x86), AppData, (Local and Roaming) removed leftover CEP, CEF, and WebView2 components, and reinstalled cleanly.Additionally, I have deleted all workspace files (except a custom “NoLearn” workspace created to attempt launching without the Learn Panel,) and edited AuditionPrefs.xml to disable it and set NoLearn as the default. I have deleted recovery files after each crash, and even attempted Shift‑launch to bypass previous sessions.Further, I have renamed Learn Panel extension
Hi, yes Audition 26 makes wat should be an easy peasy job into a nightmare. It looks like a beta version, not ready to be released yet. It is messing up my files, my work too and deeply regret to have uninstalled Au24 and Au 25. The last sweet event was yesterday. Using AU 26, I opened a file I recorded using a Zoom handheld recorder and began to edit it, then suddenly, Au26 froze, it was ciclying doing something for a long time, closed by itself and when I opened the file again to work on it, Audition 26 had done 4 things:1. it mixed up that file with another one I had on the same SD card, inserting it in the middle of my working file.2. It deleted the last 5-7 minutes of the original audio file AND3. It created another one with few seconds of the original one, with a greeting, repeating it in a loop for 29 minutes. 4. There was no back up savedNow, the initial file has to be on air tomorrow and I am on leave but working, using file recovery applications trying to find any copy on t
I’m regularly getting an issue where there are errors on processing or saving in the latest version of Adobe Audition which corrupts the audio file itself, leading it to only showing silence. For example, I had 20 short audio files I just ran a volume normalisation process on, I got an error during the process, saved the files, then reopened them to discover all were now silent. This is REALLY bad. It’s one thing for bugs to happen, but when they actually destroy the audio file being worked on at the same time, that is seriously bad news. I am very fortunate that my pipeline has constant backups at every stage of the process.
