Bridge

Hi Just wondering if anybody else has GeForce Experience (the NVidia app) installed--not that it's really useful for anything expect for skipping a few steps in the Display Driver update process--but wanted to check if anybody else has the same experience:Adobe Bridge shows up as "Peculiar Ultra Humongous Cuckoo". WTFThere's no way to rename it on the app list (I have 3 apps detected by the app; the others are VLC and AutoCAD and they show up fine). I've uninstalled and reinstalled GeForce Experience and the problem is still there. Currently uninstalled Bridge but not yet reinstalled as I have no use for it, really ( I only ever use Photoshop and Acrobat). Is this normal? I've done several passes with Norton and Windows Defender and both come up clean. 

Created many images in photoshop with a transparent background and I'm getting an odd checkered background in the latest verison of Bridge. The files open up fine but, it's a little concerning... so I wanted to see if anyone else has this issue? pic included. Thanks!

How do you share Bridge libraries on a local server? Thanks.

Hi all, I recently started working for an interior design company that hires outside photographers to shoot their projects. My job, as a marketing director, is to direct the use of these assets in collateral. I want to use Bridge, and by extension libraries, to categorize these Assets and allow third-party consultants to use our photos as needed. The problem I'm having is that historically these photographers send their assets in a .zip that contains three or four folders with the same photos in the same number of resolutions/file formats. For example, I have a folder for Project A that contains four folders that contain High Res Tif, Medium Res Tif, High Res JPG, and Low Res JPG.  Is there a way for me to simply import all existing project photography into Bridge without creating duplicates? Or will I need to dive into each of these folders and only import the highest resolution images? Thanks all!

When I try to set-up a Smart Collection using Document Type as the Criteria it only displays 3GPP as a choice, there is no pop up menu to choose any other type of file. I've deleted preferences and even reinstalled to try to remedy the issue without success.

Bridge 2020, 2021, or 2022 will not open. I am on a MacBook Air running Catalina.    I have seen this: https://helpx.adobe.com/in/bridge/kb/troubleshoot-errors-freezes-bridge.html BUT it requires Bridge to OPEN in order to try any of the suggestions.    When I click on the app, the icon will appear in the dock and start bouncing, but it never opens - the little dot in the dock never appears, the loading popup screen (with the credits, etc) never appears.. Sometimes I will get a pop-up about loading an extension but whether I select yes or no, nothing happens.    I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling. I've tried turning off Creative Cloud and the security software my employer has installed.      {Thread title edited by moderator}

Hi, All -- I had a power outage and had to repair Bridge.  Everything seems to be working except that Bridge will not accept the move of a PDF file into an image folder.  The green circle with the plus sign appear (working on a Mac), but the PFD file will not move from my desktop into Bridge.  What's up with that?  It always worked before.  Working on Mac Big Sur latest version.

 Is it possible to add labels & star ratings to a number of assets inside adobe bridge, and then access those labels and star ratings on a different computer? Or do you always need access to the hard drive where the files came from since Bridge is not cloud-based? 

When i receive emails (Outlook 2016) i drag and drop e-mails into folders on Adobe Bridge 2020.  I used to be able to click on emails that i have saved in bridge and they would open.  Within the last few weeks emails will not open i get this notification. The command line arguments is not valid. Verify the switch you are using.  Any clues on a fix?  It is really time consuming to have to switch back to email and find, or switch back to explore to open. 

Bridge stopped displaying thumbnails for .mp4_H.264 and .mov But ~ Will display .mp4_H.265Worked great up to a about a week ago. I have cleared cache - Updated Computer - etc- Read all the fourms and tried most of the fixes - Still not working - What am I missing?Please Help. Bridge Version 12.0.0.234 on a Mac 10.15.7

HalloMeine Verzweiflung ist gross, denn unser IT Support weiss seit einer Woche auch nicht weiter. Daher hoffe ich auf dringende Hilfe hier. Meine Adobe Programme kommunizieren seit dem Imac Update von Catalina, auf Bis Sur auf Monterey (innert 24h) mit der Raid Festplatte(IB-RD3620SU3) launisch.Heisst 5 Minuten ja, dann nicht mehr = MAC neustart, dann 15 minuten alles ok, = neustart. Dann gar nicht, = neustart, dann wieder für zwei Minuten alles i.O. Es gibt kein erkennbares Muster.  Fehler in Bridge, InDesign, Illustrator etc.Ordner in Bridge werden nur kurz angezeigt dann folgt *keine Elemente*, Dateien lassen sich nicht speichern Meldung *Dokument ist beschädigt*,oder auch Dokument ist zur Zeit von einer anderen Anwendung geöffnet, was nicht stimmt. Auch da ..alles was auf dem MAC ist wird immer stabil angezeigt, problemlos gespeichert und kann ohne zicken bearbeiet werden. Alle Adobe Programme laufen einwandfrei wenn ich nur auf dem Imac arbeite,

can you change which workspaces are shown? I don't use some of the workspaces but find the ones in pull down menu usefull, would love to have access as buttons

I choose one or more photographs, I add the text "bw" in the keyword field, click on some other photo, and the new text is not saved.  I added text a few minutes ago with the same method, and now it doesn't work. Can anyone tell me what I am missing? Thanks, Phil

Is there a way to edit documents in Bridge? I use bridge with Indesign. Currently I replace the documents in Bridge when they are needed to be updated. I do all the creating in Indesign. Is there a better way to do it?

 Hi I don't know what I have done, but my keyword list has disappeared from the Keywords Panel and now only the assigned Keywords are showing. This is not practical when adding keywords.I can still see the keywords in the Filter, so they still exist.

This problem is a ghost. You can google it down to CS6.Was working all fine until i updated today. Three different computers and all with the same result. Dell XPS 15, 16gig. SSD. Geforce GTX960 Win10Desktop I7 4770 32gig, SSD Geforce GTX1060 Win10HP Zbook G1 I7 4770 Quadro K2100M Win10 All with latest drivers and Win updates.I'm getting the following error on app startup This is german and means "operation could not be completed".PS gives me this one:This message means "PS cannot acces the file. The file is locked. blahblah."  Whatever The file is, it is not locked.I reset permissions.I removed everything with CC Cleaner Tool and re-installed CCI removed all Adobe entries from the AppData and program folders manuallyI reset preferences with ctrl+alt+shiftI unchecked GPU accelerationI cleaned my registry from all Adobe entries with Wise registry cleaner and CCleanerI manually removed the rest of all Adobe entriesI checked the Bridge log. It was 20meg

When I try to open a webp file through Bridge I get a Windows error that it cannot find "Adobe Photoshop CC 2019" and Bridge won't lauch the webp file in Photoshop 2022. I can open a wepb file directly from Photoshop 2022 and I can double click the file in Windows File Explorer which will open the file in Photoshop 2022. I can't get Bridge to open it. How can I fix this?

Hola.La semana pasada formateé mi PC por un problema anterior He vuelto a instalar Windows..He instalado nuevamente todos los programas: Photoshop + Lightroom + Bridge.Inicialmente, todos los programas funcionaban correctamente, hace 2 días.Pero el el día de hoy ha dejado de funcionar Bridge.Ni siquiera se abre.He desinstalado el programa y vuelto a instalar, pero no funciona.Entonces hice una restauración del sistema para recuperar el sistema 5 días atrás (ayer funcionaba).Mis soluciones no han servido de nada. La única cosa rara que me pasó ayer, (pero que a mi juicio, no tiene nada que ver ) es que desactivé la nube de OneDrive de Microsoft  y al hacerlo, se me borraron todos los inconos del escritorio, con lo que he tenido que volver a copiar todos los accesos directos en el escritorio. No creo que eso tenga relación con mi problema, pero lo comento por si acaso. Adobe Photoshop y Adobe Lightroom CC siguen funcionando sin problemas, pero Bridge se niega a e

Since I updated to 12.0.2 this morning Bridge will keep on growing it's memory usage non-stop until all my free memory is gone after a couple hours, and also eventually start consuming all available CPU and become unresponsive. I've reinstalled 12.0.1 to see if goes back to normal. macOS 12.3.1Bridge 12.0.2

Adobe bridge -mots clébonjour depuis la derniere mise à jour 12.0.2.252 la gestion des mot clés est devenue très compliquée, exemple un mot clé best ofpar exemple, étant déjà dans un sous mot clé divers existant, il recrée un nouveau mot clébest ofdans un nouveau mot clé evenements 1 en italique puisque evenement existe déjà il a ajouté de 1 et quand on supprime le mot clé et le sous mot clé .... celui ci revient avec un mot clé evenement 2par avance merci de votre réponse  

I found sometime the filter panel can detect camera model so I can select model for filtering, but sometime (meaning in another folder with photos from the same camera) the filter panel does not show camera model selection criteria. it is very strange.
