So far as I can see there has been no response from Adobe about the mess of a program that 2023 Bridge is. This program isn't ready for prime time. Please fix or address some of the issues people have been posting about here. I thought as a I worked with this software I'd stumble arcross some new things I liked but so far it has only be headaches that I find.
I have 93 screenshots with the date metadata marked as the day the screenshots were taken. I went through and manually renamed each file with the date at the beginning like so: mm_dd_yy_description When I try to organize them by date in the file explorer, the file explorer doesn't make them truly chronological. It gets close but things get a little mixed up. All the dates are different. I'm trying to figure out the most efficient way to go through each photo and change the date metadata if that's something that will help the finder sort them correctly by date. Also, is there a way to extract the filenames of each image into either a .txt or .CSV?
A few days ago, I updated my Bridge version to the new version 13.0.2.636.After that I have constant crashes in bridge. It easy to reproduce: Start Bridge(Go to a folder with some images)Select one image (for test purposes I select an JPEG image)Hit SPACE to get full screen viewHit SPACE again to get out of full screen viewWait a couple of seconds: ---> CRASH(Or click another image, see below) This seems to be 100% repeatable and renders Bridge unusable. This is somewhat of a crisis as I rely on Bridge for everyday work. Several log files can be provided:- CRASH-REPORT-after-full clean.txt (XML)- Log Collector: AdobeLogs_20230116_015900_363-win-GS.zxp- Adobe Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool.log From CRASH-REPORT-after-full clean.txt:crash exception="EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION" exceptionCode="0xc0000005" Additional details:When uninstalling version 13.0.2.636 and then installing version 12.0.3 everything seems to work OK!I have submitted a few crash reports (u
hello communityI think it would be very helpful and great if Bridge would also generate thumbnails from Cinema 4d files. Unfortunately this function is missing until now.
Most of these bugs were reported in Bridge 13.0 and apparently fixed in 13.01 & 13.02.However having just tested v13.02 properly for the first time in production, editing a large conference job with over 3000 images I've found that many of the bugs still remain.I'm not sure how to replicate the bugs, but in the process of fullscreen labeling of files, Camera Raw processing etc; I had the following issues.A very simplified version of my workflow:1. Sort files by date.2. Fullscreen browsing through all images to Label selections.3. Process groups of Labeled selection images in ACR, then labeling those images (Approved) within ACR.4. Repeat.....Most of these issues occur after steps 2 & 3.Issues encountered:- During Fullscreen preview, Labels do not always show unless you scroll forwards or backwards.- After exiting ACR, multiple images become selected, despite only clicking on 1 image, and cannot unselect the images.- While using the arrow keys to go through the images in the con

I've upgraded to the latest versions of Photoshop, Bridge, and ACR. All are incredibly slow. Bridge is almost impossibly slow and locks up occasionally. Saving a file in Photoshop is incredibly slow. I have a Nikon Z6 and a Nikon Z7ii. I use Adobe downloader to import my files into Bridge. This has happened after I upgraded the OS, Photoshop, Bridge, and ACR. I'm wondering if it has anything to with Adobe's support for the M1 chip. I'm seriously considering a new Apple Studio computer with M1 chips. Could that help? Thanks. Some, if not all, DSLR and mirrorless cameras store focus point into image EXIF data. This data can be visualized using some 3rd party tools, but it would be highly useful to have this visualization cabability directly in Adobe Bridge. I personally use Sony Alpha camera which stores this data in JPEG and ARW files. Please consider adding this feature in upcoming bridge releases.Attached is an image of A7Info software which visualizes the focus point stored in image EXIF data.
the program is not working
After updating, the application does not open, although I have uninstalled it, I have installed it several times
Bridge 2023 The preview page contact sheet under the output workspace is huge. How can I reduce the size so it fits in the preview window
Buenas trades, como deberia hacer para ver las palabras claves que asigno a las fotos en la cuadridula de miniaturas, donde veo solo numero de archivo y clasificación?Muchas gracias!
HiI had Bridge 2019 running on a Win10 PC and many inages indexed with a lot of keywords. Just bought a new PC (also Win 10) and installed Bridge - 2021 edition. The first problem was that I lost all of my keywords - I researched this and copied the relevant XML file from the Appdata folder and they all appeared again. But I seem to have no indexing set up - if I search for images with a keyword it grinds away and eventually finds them, but does not obviously cache the results. After a lot of searching I tried the following:Went to my main Pictures folderSelected View->Show items from sub folders and all my folder and images appeared in the main pane.It then reported it was indexing in the status line at the bottom, and the list of keywords that I had used appeared under Filter in the Filter Panel, together with an indication of how many images there were that used each keyword. If I clicked on one of those keywords it immediately showed the images that used
Adobe Bridge 2023 shows incorrect EXIF data from the camera when we have a local language, in my case Polish. After switching the language to English it shows correctly. What's weirder in the Matadata panel shows everything correctly, even after changing the language to Polish.I show all on the screens. Camera is Sony Alfa DSLR-A700 with 50mm fixed focal length lens
Bridge 13.0.2.636 photodownloader does not recognize compact flash cards in macOS Ventura. I've tried all CF cards I have and none works. (No problem with SD cards apart the download being extremely slow, as it has been for the last couple of years with Bridge). I see the CF card on my desktop but when I open photodownloader it tells me there is no card recognizeable. Refreshing does not help. Anyone else with the same problem?
I'm using Bridge to easily browse photos stored on three separate company servers, two of which I have to VPN into. Sometimes my VPN connection will drop without me realizing it and when I go to open a smart collection that is searching folders on the server, I'll receive a message that the folder cannot be found and Bridge will go ahead and delete the collection.I figured out that there is an "Undo Delete Collection" in the "Edit" menu that I can use to restore my collection when this happens, but I would prefer that Bridge not delete my collections in the first place. Is there a setting somewhere to prevent this from happening?
hello Team,Images are in icloud drive. Bridge is showing only the icons but not the image thumbnails. Also the extension is changed from XXXXXX.CR2. to XXXXXX.CR2.ICLOUD.
Looking for a way to find similar images or videos in my own photo and video libraries by using an adobe app, hopefully Bridge. Is this possible? For example, I need to find all photos on my system that look like another photo I selected as the source. This feature would be very useful to have in Bridge!
Can someone please help me understand why I am getting these diagonal white lines when previewing my PSD file and also in the resulting JPEG export? It is quite annoying and I just can not figure out why. It only shows up on some images, not all, and I can't find a pattern to it. I've attached the PSD too, in case that helps. I am running Adobe Bridge 12.0.0.234
When I select a single photo, hit my space bar to preview the image, and then navigate to any other photo and then hit escape to go back to the main view (in this case, Essential view), both the first photo I selected and the last photo I viewed are now selected. Seems like a bug. I work a lot in the metadata and I have to then click just the photo I want to edit, which adds another step.
I'm using the Beta version 13.0.2.630 on a MacStudio running Moneterey. I can't eject an SD card; Brige either ignores the request or freezes. Let me know if there's a fix. Thanks. Jim
After I reject a photo, can I unreject it? I can't find any option which allows me to do this. If I choose to batch rename my photos, will those rejected photos be renamed too? Or should I remove the rejected photos first before renaming my files in batch?
Hi!I just tried to batch rename a folder contents. With first folder batch rename got stuck around 95 %. Pressed cancel. All but one file was renamed. Thumbnails/preview images are not showing until each image is clicked with mouse. Then did another folder and same thing. Bridge beta V13.02.630macos 11.7.2
I click on the external drive in Bridge and it won't display folders or images
