Fix this awful application

I have updated to Adobe Bridge 13 (Version 13.0.0.562).Now Batch Rename with Metadata isn't working anymore. Regardless of which Metadata-value I select, it always takes an aperture value (e.g. "f^F11,0"). So it ignores the selected Metadata-value and fills the batch-rename with "f^F11,0".I often use "Metadata Image-ID" for Batch Rename. With this annoying bug, that is not possible at the moment. 😞Do you also have this bug?

Hello in the new Bridge version I can't reorganize the photos in the collections. I can't drag and drop the photos to reorganize the collection manually like in the older version. Can anyone help me? Thanks

I seriously can't believe that it's 2022 and Bridge & Raw still doesn't let us use Dual monitors or detach Panels & Functions. Photoshop has had this for 2 decades or more and it helps massively with workflow.For technical reasons, I can't use Lightroom so I rely on Bridge and Raw. It's so frustrating that I cant utilise dual monitors. Having all the panels open on another screen would save so much time scrolling through screens of sliders or functions.Both programs have gotten a little attention recently from programmers. Can this please be on the wish list somewhere? 

After I delete rejected pictures in a directory, the screen refreshes to the first images of the directory, no matter where I was in the directory. I have to scroll back trough all the images to get back where I was. Quite annoying when cleaning up the rejected pictures from a directory with hundreds of images.

Guten Tag,ich habe seit letzter Woche das Problem, dass Bridge die Metadaten für den neuen Dateinamen nicht mehr übernimmt. Als erstes soll der neue Dateiname Metadaten - Überschrift enthalten. Wenn ich "Metadaten" auswähle gibt er mir als erstes die Option mit der Blendenvorwahl an. Egal welche Option ich auswähle, im Dateinamen bleibt die "Blendevorwahl" stehen. Hat jemand eine Lösung für mich? Es ist für meine Arbeit sehr wichtig, dass die Informationen aus den Metadaten auch bei der Stapel-Umbennnung übernommen werden. Danke! 

Unfortunately, Creative cloud does not have an option to revert. (tried all apps, 3 dots- to all versions, but not there)Is there another app that does the same thing in organizing files, with the option to move things around manually?  I can't believe Bridge would mess this up.

Im nächsten Support soll von zwei Grafikkarten (INTEL (R) UHD Grafics und NVIDIA GEForce MX350), die INTEL abgeschaltet werden.  Na, ja. Hatte jemand das Problem schon mit der obogen Fehleranzeige? When choosing photos I use the star method and then use sort by rating - there is always more than I want and I found out that two photos are selected when I only want one by default? Not sure how to pose the question but it seems like Bridge wants to show a comparison or something and I only want the one that I selected to be starred....any help will be very helpful!

I just update to Bridge 13 today. I had a huge job that required me to moves small segments of files around. IF I selected several files and then moved them, the sort order would reverse...then, when I moved them again, the sort order reversed again. For example, if I selected image numbers 3, 4, and 5 and then moved them behind image number 10. The sort order would become 10, 5, 4, 3, 11. Then if I grab imagers 5, 4, and 3 and moved them behind image number 15, the order would become 15, 3, 4, 5, 16.  How do I get it to STOP doing that? All I want is for it to stay 3, 4, and 5, no matter where I move it? HELP??? HELP!!!! Kirk Voclain

DEAR SEETHARAMAN: I UNDERSTAND THAT A BRAND NEW RELEASE IS HIGHLY COMPLICATED  STUFF, BUT SO MANY THINGS ARE NOT WORKING AS THEY USED TO DO.I HAVE INSTALLED THE LATEST BRIDGE VERSION ON MY MACBOOK PRO 15" LATE 2018 (MAC OS UP TO DATE - CHIP INTEL i9-6 CORES) AND I NEED TO COMPLAIN ABOUT QUITE MANY THINGS.* KEYBOARD ARROWS ARE NOT MOVING ME FROM ONE PICTURE TOP THE OTHER!!!!!!!*IN BATCH RENAME, THE TAB KEY IS NO LONGER MOVING THE CURSOR FROM ONE WRITING PLACE TO THE OTHER, BUT IT'S GOING THROUGH EACH AND EVERY BUTTON ETC!!!!!!!*WHEN I SELECT, LET'S SAY, TEN PICTURES AND MOVE THEM FROM THEIR GRID POSITION TO A DIFFERENT ONE, BECAUSE I WANT THEM TO BE IN A DIFFERENT NARRATIVE SEQUENCE, THEY LAND IN THE NEW POSITION IN A REVERSED ORDER!!!!*WHEN I SELECT A FEW IMAGES AND TRY TO DRAG THEM IN A DIFFERENT POSITION, THE SCROLLING IS UNBEARABLY SLOW!!!!!*WHEN I CHANGE THE POSITION IN THE GRID TO EVEN JUST ONE PICTURE, BRIDGE MOVES THE PICTURES EITHER UP OR DOWN, INS

Bridge updated this morning and now not working properly. Once the program launches and I click on a thumbnail image, an error box xomes stating the following:"HRESULT: GPU Device instance has been suspended. Use GetDeviceRemovedReason to determine the appropriate action." then kicks me out of Bridge not allowing me to use the program.What is goign on? I don't have time for this!

The Filter panel won't updated correctly. The numbers are NOT correct.    

This might honestly be one of the most annoying interface issues in any Adobe software I use! When using Bridge as network image library viewer / sorting tool, I often use the Folders panel to navigate through our company image library with many subfolders. When dragging images to move or as copies (+ Ctrl) into other folders in the Folders panel network tree, Bridge decides that you want to see the VERY TOP OF THE DIRECTORY TREE after each and every file move or copy procedure. Nevermind that I am often browsing files nested 20 directories deep in our image library. NO, Adobe's engineers decided to code Bridge so that the Folders panel view refreshes and resets every single time you move or drag a copy of a file from one folder into another. So, anytime I want to use Bridge to organize files, I have to constantly drag the slider bar back down through the entire tree, searching for the blue-highlighted current folder and begin my next transaction.... Does

After uptaing med Adobe apps to 2023 i experience a rather unhealthy thing. After photos have been imported from memory card, Adboe Bridge delets photos om card.  Why?

Can't rename files with metadata other than aperture. I want to write the ISO speed but Bridge always writes the aperture instead. Please fix the bug which seems to be new in version 2023. Thx, Andreas

Hi,  Since the new update, I've been having tons of problems.  One of which is when I use Bridge, and I'm done processesing an image, instead of just going back to the last image I worked on, it selects two images, seemingly randomly, every time.  Anybody?

Ich Wähle den Filter 1* oder mehr ([STRG]+[ALT]+[1])2. Wähle das Bild "005.jpg" aus. Dieses hat einen Stern.3. Ich hebe den Filter auf.4. (Bild 005.jpg ist immer noch markiert) Ich drücke nach rechts  -> Jetzt ist nicht 006.jpg markiert sonder irgen ein anderes. In keiner Sortierung kommt dieses Bild vor oder nach der 005Was mache ich falsch?Vielen Dank für Eure Hilfe   Michael

That's about the size of it.  I really can't wrap my mind around what it is with this company any more.  For the past 4 or 5 years, each update you roll out introduces more problems than it solves.  So here's the first of what I'm sure will be many after launching the newest update. When I go through a run of files, I mark the ones I intend to use with 3 or more in Bridge and then screen to view only them.  When I'm finished with one or a group of files, I select them and either un-rate them or just lower them to 1 or 2.  In the new Bridge (the 2023 just downloaded version) it freezes and then either crashes officially or just closes without a word, over and over and over.  Kindly figure it out.

Why has the order of my photographs in my Bridge Folders changed.  How to I revert back to the previous order of over 2000 photographs

In all the older versions of Bridge, if I drag and drop files from my grid into the Favorites, the files were copied, if the folder was on another disk.Grid View: c:\bla  Favorite: d:\blub Now, since Bridge 2023, the files are MOVED every time - even, if the icon on the mouse cursor during drang&drop pretends to do a copy (a PLUS is shown). I think, this is a bug, isn't it?

Unfortunately, I don't have the option to revert in CC.  Please make a clear option to revert back to the older app!The more I use Bridge 2023, the more serious problems show up that are obvious glitches that were never there before.Manually moving files and they will change sequential order, glitching in viewing thumbnails, and pdf export formatting ..just so many problems that are documented here in this forum that I never experienced with the old Bridge.I'm pleading with you to give a available link to "classic" Bridge or whatever you want to call it!The program is nearly unuseable at this point. It's not saving any time or helping with organizing reliably.

Hi, I'm having a weird problem where ai files and templates that I have saved to favorites are not opening on click. Favorite folders are working fine. The weird issue is, if I have folder where the file is store open, it works, but as soon as I navigate out of the folder, it wont open. I'm using the latest updated version of Bridge and Illustrator. Thanks for any help in advance!
