Bridge

I've just had to move files to another drive and now the majority of the files in my collections are missing. I had the forethought to also assign them keywords. I can find them using the Find function but when I drag them from the Content panel to the Collection - they are still missing. Please advise! Thank you

Adobe Bridge is what our creative department uses to name and sort through footage since we are already paying for the adobe library. Since we have started shooting more in 10 bit 4k, we aren't able to play back anything at all in the software. This issue exists amongst M1 Mac machines, Beefed up Mac Machines, and Beefed up Windows Desktops.  Clips will load in and appear to be fine, but will not play back at all. It is frustrating when even after effects will play back the clips we use in full speed... live. Adobe bridge seems to not like the file type at all. Other softwares such as Kyno play back the footage perfectly with no stuttering issues across multiple Mac and Windows machines. We would love some sort of hardware acceleration or something to play back the 4k 10 bit footage we are shooting, as of right now it seems to not work at all. 

Supposed, for example, I saved a bunch of files by the Prefix "Illustrator" such as in :Illustrator - Beach.aiIllustrator - New Artwork.aiIllustrator - Render Text.aiAnd:Photoshop - Image 1.psdPhotoshop - Image 2.psdAnd so on. Would there be a way to type in, in the Filter window "Illustrator" and up would only show the files that begin with these letters? 

Suddenly the names of folders are pinned inside the icons, Rename is not in the "right click" menu, or the edit menu.Whats going on????

Hello. Please view the attached Metadata > File Properties. I shot this image file on the date & time as in the Date File Modified field. In the Date Created field, why is the date 22 months ago?   Also, in IPTC Core for this same image, the Date Created is 16/10/2020 10:05:01. Why are these different? I would like the Date Created to be exactly that, the date and time that the image was created. Thanks for any help!

Hey everyone - do any of you know why Bridge is not preserving the Date Created as the original date the file was created? Every time I go into a file and make a change, it's as if Bridge is thinking that's when I created the file, so it updates both Date Created and Date Modified instead of just the Date Modified. I just did a 'Bridge experiment' file to show this, so the screenshots are (be1) when I actually created the document; (be2) is when I went in and made a change and saved it; (be3) is a further change that I saved. You see that both dates are updated each time and for some reason it retains a 3-second gap between the two each time... Any ideas about how to fix this would be gratefully received, thanks 🙂 (be4 and be5 show the date records in Windows explorer, where everything looks the way it should)

Hi everyone, I'm looking for some assistance using Adobe Bridge. I began looking into this as I found it increasingly difficult to browse and organize my photos shot in .ARW I've located them through bridge, wherein I was impressed with how easy it was to preview and organize the photos. When I went to check if the green labels I had assigned in Bridge were also applied to the main file in my Finder (on my external drive), it appears all files I've opened in Adobe Bridge are now saves as .XMP When attempting to access these files, it opens Apple's photo app (which I'd like to completely avoid doing as I can't stand the file management through here). Why are the files converting to XMP? Is there any way to avoid this? What are best practices when I'm simply looking to review and "Accept" or "reject" photos from a photoshoot with 100's of photos shot in raw?

I don't know if this is a particular case for my PC or for the Windows 10 environment. 1. No application is open - only the desktop is visible. 2. I open Bridge and send an ARW file to Photoshop 21. 3. Adobe Camera Raw opens on top of both. 4. When I press Done or Cancel in ACR to return to Bridge ... 5. ... ACR closes, but now Photoshop is covering Bridge 6. I have to select Bridge again - an redundant activity - to bring Bridge in front of PS. Can this behavior be controlled from any preset to let Photoshop open behind Bridge?  

Seeking an expert in Bridge to advise in setting up workflows in tandem w Lightroom and InDesign.  Already use Lightroom to manage photo assets but needing to apply bulk metadata, manage a large library of InDesign Files.   Looking to indentfy how to best use Bridge and Lightroom in tandem in a compreheesive and cohesive workflow.  Looking to understand how scripting can be applied to this integration.  Expertise of best practices of best leveraging  LR and Bridge in tandem is a must.   Scripting knowledge would be helpful.

Bridge incorrectly alters the metadata in PNG files to remove the ICC profile tag after purging cache.   Steps to reproduce:   Bridge 11.1.1, Photoshop 22.5, Windows 10 Pro 21H1   1. Save a PNG file from Photoshop with ICC profile embedded. 2. View in Bridge, File Info->Raw Data 3. Right click->Purge cache for selection 4. View in Bridge, File Info->Raw Data   Expected: ICC profile tag intact Actual: ICC profile tag removed   Note that when opened in Photoshop, PS File Info shows the ICC profile tag intact and PS correctly identifies the profile.   Example screenshots before/after cache purge. This is a PNG file with profile saved in Photoshop 22.5. Pour l'instant le plan de travail affiché est systématiquement le premier, hors je souhaiterais afficher le deuxième et ou 3 ème, sans avoir à exporter ceux ci en jpg... Est-ce possible ?

Windows 10 (1903), latest versions of Bridge and ACR. Downloader will not display images from Z6 but Bridge and converter recognize, display and process Z6 NEF files. No issues with NEF from other Nikons or Canon/Olympus raw images. Reset preferences in Bridge, did nothing. When I first got the Z6 I had no problems. I am not sure if this happened after installing the new RAW image extension for Win 10 (which I believe only works in 1903?)--file explorer now displays raw image previews.

Nikon z6ii or z7ii preview images still not showing up in the Bridge photo downloader. It's been almost a year since the cameras came out and still this problem exists. Will Adobe ever be able to keep up with new technology?

New computer and just downloaded Ps/CC/ACR/Br on it.Now when I try to rename a folder I get a "Permissions" error. I cannot find how to change. 

I accidentaly made a PDF-file from two JPG-files. Can anybody tell me how to change them back? I found out how to convert back to JPG, but not when the PDF-file contains two or more pictures. Then only one picture is restored to JPG.

I am very new to Bridge and somehow have Essentials, Libraries, etc showing everything on my computer.  How can I get rid of this? TIA

The Bridge does not show thumbnails of video generated by modern day iPhones. (12 pro max with plugins used). As a little freeware program like Icaros can generate thumbnails for any kind of video in Windows Explorer. Like to use the Bridge, but thumbnails have always been an issue over the years.    

I have Bridge v11 downloaded onto my new Mini M1.  I had an old version of LR on my dinosaur where I had somehow corrupted the library files beyond redemption by a luddite like me.  So now I have folders (mostly by year) with 8K+ photo files on my 1TB external SSD waiting to be introduced to Bridge.  Just for a change, I thought I'd ask for help instead of blundering ahead on my own.  Please enlighten. 

Last year I up graded to a Canon 5D mkIV and ever since I have had to battle with Bridge slowing down when adjusting and processing RAW files. With the old mkIII files, I used to be able too select over a 100 RAW files at a time and work on them without any issues with my system slowing down, but now I cant open more than 20, before the process becomes painfully slow (30 secs for each file to resolve its self before I can work on them and then a couple seconds delay when adjusting). The only option I have, is to restart Bridge every time after processing only ten images, which resolves the issue, but is not ideal when trying to work on 400 wedding images at a time. This of course is having a massive impact on my work flow and my time.Currently it take my system over 2hrs to convert 200 raw files into JPEG's.I understand the MKIV has bigger files, but the increase in files size is not proportional too the time my system is taking too process the files.When checking my resource monitor w

So I cannot rate and label only jpg files in Bridge 10.0.4.157. All other formats is working.I have Camera RAW 12.3 - the latest update.I already have reset all preferences and purge a cache. Is didn't help.Any suggestions?

In list view or metadata view measurements are displayed in pixel dimensions. In other views one can display the measurements according to images DPI in cm or inch.Is there a way to display measurements of width and height according to the image DPI in the meta view? I’d like to sort columns and check in list view by sorting to width and height.
