Bridge

I'm editing 25mb NEF files shot on my Nikon D750. First from Bridge to Camera Raw, then in photoshop. I use the Nik software plugin in Photoshop.When I save my work to a PSD, the files are huge. Like 300mb for a single photo.I've been looking around and people are or were talking about the "DocumentAncestors" in the metadata. I can see the data in there.I've tried one of the scripts I found to remove the DocumentAncestors, but to no avail. 1. Is the DA really the problem?2. If so, how do I get that bloating crap out of my files?3. If not, WTF? I uninstalled Bridge and PS CC. Rebooted my Mac, then reinstalled Bridge and PS CC before Doing the experiment below. I just now found a file I edited in Mar of 2019. The edited but uncropped PSD was 217.9mb. I had saved a 5x7 cropped version back then, and it was only 38mb, still big, but manageable. I just re-cropped the "original size" PSD to the "front Image" ratio and put 300 ppi and it saved at 125mb.Now, I am thoroughly conf

In Photoshop 6 there was wonderful automation with Web Gallery in it.It was a splendid way for making wesite displays of images with labels. Because it was so very good "they"took it out .I spent now many days and nights trying to find old Photoshop that still has a working WebGallery app or Bridge 2017 or earlier.The ones I found had Trojans in it or "exe" file broken. Any helping advice? Please.

Hello, eveyone! Having an issue with Bridge that hopefully someone has a solution for. Using an iMac, and in Adobe Bridge 2020, I can't seem to open a Jpeg or RAW file from Bridge's "Open in Camera Raw" screen. Normally, I'd hold the option key down in order to "open copy" of said files directly into photoshop, but getting a notice stating a "disc error" that's preventing these files from being opened in PS. It has to be something simple, some preference, but don't know what that is. Any ideas or solutions?Thanks for the help!!best,ben

I used to ahve an Export Panel in Bridge CC which I used to export several RAW or PSD photos to JEPG, with the upgrade to CC it's gone. How am I supposed to export several photos to JPEG? One by one in Photoshop? Really?

Hi there, Adobe Bridge 2020 is still the only app that crashes for me even after the latest update to v10.0.1.With crashing I mean it bounces a few times in dock then closes without posting a crash report window.Thankfully Adobe 2019 still works and is currently in use along with the latest Photoshop and Lightroom versions on macOS Catalina 10.15.1Any ideas? Thanks in advance  

I have just updated photoshop and the history panel has disappeared, it does'teven appear in the windows drop down menu. Help, where has it gone?

Hi, I need to be able to back up everything in bridge, keywords, collections, favorites, ratings, labels, all of it and everything so I can confidently restore it all back exactly as it is now.  I would imagine all of these settings are in a directory or distributed among files, but I've searched and googled quite extensively without finding an answer on the specific files/directories.  Thanks!  

In Bridge 10.1.1.166, usually when I leave Bridge to do anything else, the Favorites and Keyword panels have disappeared.  They are easy to retrieve, but it's a nuisance and waste of time.  There does not seem to be anything in common about the activities that bring this on.  It can be so Photoshop editing, or checking somethin online.  I am using a custom workspace and Windows 10 64 bit.

I am trying out the latest version of Bridge on Windows 10. I was trying to drag and drop an image into InDesign, when a magnifying glass appeared. Now I can't get my cursor back. Never had this happen before. Is there a way to deactivate it? I'm not very agile in Bridge. Would appreciate your help--thanks!

Hello,I have a set of keywords I am using that I have numbered sequentially for different character values to encode metadata to each image, for example:The issue is, when I look in file info, the keywords are ordered in the (at times random/ out of sequence) order they were clicked/assigned by me, but not sorted into the number order (0 to 53).This is problematic, because I am using the ExifTool to export these metadata in excel and they are all jumbled (the goal is that they would retain the numerical order presented in the keywords list, and neatly line up). Any ideas? Sorting in Excel is a headache for the number of files and keywords, plus they are not sorting correctly since they are text values. Thanks!

I've got a ton of folders that are very disorganized. My old system really used the filename for organization.How can I filter across all folders for any files and/or folders that contain the word "helen"

I am currently running Photoshop 19.1.9 64-bit on Windows 8.1 .I have an old version of  Bridge CC (64 Bit) 6.2 on the system that doesn't work and won't uninstall.I have repeatedly tried uninstalling all my Adobe apps and running the Cleaner,but I can't get rid of it.I would like to get the installation file so I can reinstall it. Then maybe I can get rid of it. Adobe has gotten rid of all the download links, so I tried contacting Adobe Support,but they can't find it, and suggested I try the Forums! 

This is crazy.  I open Bridge, it loads onto the dock.  I select my drive, there seems to have been some sort of connection but than it fails to respond.  I can not open any files in drive.  I check force quit list and see that Bridge is not responding.  So I force quit.  Try again same thing.  I see I have updates in creative cloud, maybe I need to update first.  I try to update--get alert that I am 3 mos past due.  FALSE.  I can see each monthly payment.  Than it looks like it allowed me to update.  Not even sure.  Still won't respond.  Do a force close.  Won't close.  Won't open.   WORSE, has my computer locked up and prevents me from shutting down.  As an attempt to break this hold I tried to uninstall bridge.  It does not look like I was successful.  Again not sure.  Only know it is still refusing to let go of my computer.  And Bridge is still in the dock.  I tri

Exactly how is it helpful that Bridge has keyboard number 1 through 9 and short cuts to go through images 1 through 9 of the current folder in current sorting?Meaning, the purpose of Bridge is to go through your shots and rate or label them.  A shoot often has 250 to 1500 shots.  If you mistype CTRL-9 to label an image as just 9 (CTRL doesn't click) you LOOSE YOUR PLACE in the current view, and annoyingly go to image 9 out of the 250.WHEN was it ever helpful to have shortcuts for images 1 through 9 as numbers 1 through 9?  WHO ever had a photo shoot with only ten images say, and needed a shortcut to go to image 5 instead of just clicking the image?

So I have renamed a bunch of images in Bridge, but when i use the export function to convert them to TIF (TIFF for some reason) they do not retain the renaming of the file. This is a big problem, and I see no option that can be checked to even do what it is doing (it gives it a filename i have not assigned nor can i find where it lists what it is changing it to) please help ASAP Aaron

in preview when i am viewing photos i would like the photos to stop at the last photo and not continue scrolling through to the 1st photo in the folder

All my image previews are blurry unless i view them at 100%. The issue is the same no matter what machine I'm using. I've tried to change every software preview setting in the prefs but it doesn't change anything. I've read old posts back to 2015 where this same issue is pointed out, seems like a never ending bug or something. I'm forced to use another image browser like the trusted ACDSee in order to view my thumbnails crisp and clear. Bridge is falling way behind even the simplest of image viewers. Bridge 10.0.3.138W10

Getting this error:     The Operation could not be completed.         An unknown operating system error has occured. I have Catalina but have not updated to the 10.15.6 yet 

When I try to download and install Bridge, it takes me to a sign in page for Creative Cloud - I fill in my email and password, and it says I have been logged out, then asks for my email and password again, and says I have been logged out - over and over and over and over and over again . . . . . 

Buongiorno,premette che uso questo prodotto da molto tempo quindi che che descriverò lo rilevo dall'ultima versione installata: Primo problema da quando è stato aggiornanto all'ultima versione non viene piu lanciato in automatico da Windows ( autoplay che permette l'avvio automatico di Br ho controllato che sia configurato correttamente) infatti prima dell aggiornamento funzionava perfettamente. Secondo problema sempre inerente a Br ogni volta che lo devo avviare manualmente si comporta come se fosse il primo avvio non si ricorda le opzioni che indicato ( pannello avanzato, directory di lavoro, copyrights etc) anche questo prima dell aggiornamento funzionava. . Ho provato a disinstalalre ed reinstallare ma senza successo. Potreste cortesemente aiutarmi? Grazie Roberto

First the new Bridge does not have the file names under each image. I am using Bridge 9.1, which recently had an update that renders the search function useless. It takes me to Adobe stock. I don't want Adobe stock, I want RedRockLanding. Hence, when I am searching for an image, I can't find it. Please undo this terrible change. I have used Bridge for years. I have recommended it to others.

Hello does anyone know if there is a way to take a pdf contact sheet from bridge and export the images from the sheet back to their separate files again? Preferably naming every exported pdf as the filenames of the image that was embedded in the content sheet.
