Bridge

For some reason I no longer can see contents of a selected folder... I should be able to select a folder and in the preview pane see what files are in it.

I can't open a file in Bridge by double clicking. I have to go to File...Open. I think my trouble began when I enabled the following : "The Bridge extension "photoshop_v2021" has been added to Bridge. Do you want to enable it now? I am now at Bridge 9.1.0.338 and can't go higher.

I recently realized that Bridge 2020 ... and actually started with Bridge 2019 - randomly can't create previews of EXR (either on win10 xeon machines or win10 ryzen3900 machines). When opening in Photoshop 2020 the files are not able to open - because of an error.My first assumption was, that those files got corrupted somehow during the preview process. But thats not the case...It actually happens randomly - as i tried Bridge on other Computers to create a preview of those EXR and different Files were affected.Than i tried open them in Photoshop CS6 and it worked flawlessly. Saving those EXR is also no problem and finally Bridge 2020 were able to create previews and even Photohop2020 were able to open them.There must some issues with Bridge&Photoshop 2020 and Preview-creation.The Photoshop CS6 is a unpleasant work-around - specially when you have to deal with many images.EXR are Rendering-Results from 3dsmax&corona-render

Hi ?I was search a file from my HDD using Br menu (Edit-find?,  Ctrl+ F) with Keyword,  but I do not know where this file is located in my HDD (E:) How do I know my file location (folder) ? Thank you inadvance.  

Hello, I have an iMac, less than a year old. Bridge and photoshop are running at the same speed as on my 12 year old PC. I have updated my OS to 'Big Sur' as well as all my Adobe software hoping that would speed things up.Now Bridge is not showing some images when browsing the library... sometimes it won't show any images, just blank, black squares. 

Pointer too small and black. How to fix?

Is it? It used to be only in Photoshop in older versions, but now the Place menu has many apps. And Photoshop is last. Can I modify that list? (I'd like to just keep Ps in order to make my work faster as I do it only with keyboard commands).  

Really hoping to find a solution that will allow me to open metadata entered in Bridge to various files as a Excel spreadsheet.Thanks

Since update 2021 my Bridge is unusable.While scrolling throug my photos it crashes and the only way to leave the program is to force a shut down. Most of the times I can manage to use it with the first 6 photos in my directory and then it freezes.Hopefully there will be a solution for this problem, since it is the first time I cannot use Bridge anymore.

Newest version of the software and Camera Raw. What's weird is that among a set of pictures, only a few cannot be openned while the rest is fine. When I switch to Photoshop (also in newest version), the situation remains. See the attached images for more information. Thanks!

I have a .txt file with a list of 350 images, which I have to select in a folder with more than 2500 images.Is there any way, using this list to automatically make that selection, without having to manually select one by one?Thanks in advance 

Hello,I'm unable to see video thumbnails and/or previews in Bridge 2021 when connected to the server. I can see them when I'm connected directly to a hard drive. Any idea why this is happening? 

I always use this plugin on Bridge to make a resized version of my large files. But after the recent update, I found this plugin no longer works well. It resized my original file size as well. So I lost my large files due to this. This is a serious problem. Please fix it. 

HELP!  Bridge that came with my photoshop CS^ stopped opening.   I looked up updates and basically tells you to get new Bridge, which my system does not support.  I suspect problem has something to do with ADOBE no longer supporting FlashPlayer....    Am I at a total lose here?

I am planning to create an accessible archive of 50+ years worth of photographs, a fair number of them currently in negatives or as prints, the rest in digital form.  I need to go through them, weed out unwanted images, then label and clean up, particularly the older images. My negative files have approximate dates (month/year) and most of the digital images have dates. I have started on the negatives, but find it difficult to keep track, particularly when editing images in Photoshop, as keywords seem to get lost.Any advice or suggestions on how to use Bridge to create and maintain a catalogue will be very welcome. Many thanks, Richard

Hi Just updated to 2021, and couldnt work out why my metadata changes werent saving. Now i see a little tick and cross at the bottom, and it looks like you now have to press tick (apply) after every change. Forget to press that and youve lost all changes. what a pain Is that new? can we select auto save when we move to another image? Also, while im here, can we move the metadata fields? TITLE makes much more sence to be above description to me.Thanks for the help.

My computer operating system is the most current version of Windows 10 Pro. I typically remove my Sony XQD card from my Nikon Z6, and then use a Sony card reader to import my raw files to Adobe Bridge (Ver 11.0.0.83, part of my Adobe Photography subsciption). My problem is that images of the raw files do not appear - ony the icon and filenames appear. So there is no way for me to select which files I want to import unless I set my camera to record each photo in both NEF and JPG formats. I've read that others have this same problem, but so far I've not seen any response related to correcting the problem. Can anyone help? Thank you.

Hey Everyone, I've been having this problem with Adobe Bridge for a while, but i'm getting very terrible, muddy previews (As seen in the video below)   This seems to be for videos with Alpha channels. I did notice Media Encoder has the same issues with displaying videos with alpha channel during my renders. However, when i view the end product in windows media or VLC its fine.   Does anyone know how to fix this issue of muddy/terrible looking previews?    Thanks so much!     {Thread renamed by moderator}

I've decided to share the various bugs I have noticed in the new update. Startup : I get the following warning "Are you connected to the internet? We can't verify your subscription status. We can't reach the adobe servers." I can then click "Try again" or "Quit Adobe Bridge". Both do the same thing, return a second message. "We're still having connection problems. We can't verify your subscription status....bla bla." If I click either "Try Again" or "Quit Adobe Bridge", nothing happens after that. It doesn't even shut down like it says it will.Not running any third party Antivirus/security or any VPN service. And everything else works. Not altered any settings for internet/wifi/lan etc. This didn't happen before the update. I have tried uninstall, delete folders and reinstall. Videos : - Double-clicking videos won't open them, I have to right-click and open or open with.- Sometimes moving videos or opening them, locks/stalls Bridge- 4K videos is especially diff

Hi there, I have a question regarding the cache folders of Lightroom and Bridge. Is it possible to use the same cache folder for both programs, or is it meaningless because they have two separate caches regardless if they share the same directory? Hence, Lightroom Classic is referring to "Camera Raw" Cache, maybe it is the same cache? best regardsphilipp

I've 100's of thousands of NEF/RAW images store on varius internal and external drives. I've spent hours upon hours creating Meta data, kewords, etc., for these images over the years. I just purchased a new HP system, 6GB nVidia card, SSD, RAM the works. Get everything updated and installed. launch Bridge 2021 and BOOM, no Meta Data or Keywords. They are there when I look on the old system  in Bridge 2020 but not on the new system in Bridge 2021. What is even more confusing is that it's not every directory this is happening to, some ddirectories are fine others no XML data. Anyone come across this before?

I have moved four files, 2 PSD and 2 jpg from Adobe Bridge to folders on an external hard drive. they are not showing up in the folders on the hard drive. I have checked that they didn't get moved to the trash by mistake, this is not the case. And I know I moved them to the correct folders. Would anyone know what has happened here please? Thank you. I am using a mac, running macOS Big Sur Version 11.1.

For a long while, Bridge (using version 10.1.1.166) gives this message for large PSD files. Saving as a .PSB doesn't help and I've purged the cache to no avail, so I have assumed there is a file size limitation.  But I canot find anything documenting that.  Is this the case or is there something I can do to keyword these files?
