Please help! After editing photos in Photoshop I am suddenly unable to export them. From adobe bridge I will right click a photo icon, then select export to, then select hard drive and nothing will happen. The same happens if I use File-export to- hard drive. I have never had this happen. In the past I would batch select an entire folder and export it to the hard drive and adobe bridge would automatically convert the files to jpeg. How do I fix this. The only way around this is opening each file in photoshop and saving it as a copy on the desktop while selecting for it to be converted to jpeg. That is not a real solution though because I have hundreds of photos to export. Any insight would be so much appreciated.
Is there any way to see Image Size from within Bridge. I know that you can see it if you open the file in Photoshop, but I don't want to have to do that for each image just to see the image size. It is not an option to have it listed in the metadata as far as I can see. You can list resolution, file size and dimensions, but not image size. I want to use Bridge to upload images to Adobe Stock, but there is a 4MP minimum image size requirement. I have no way of finding the image size easily. (I could calculate it from the dimensions in pixels multiplied by the number of channels, I think, but I'm not exactly sure -- plus I don't want to have to do math!)
When viewing a PDF, how do I make the image in the preview tab fill the space? I recently updated to bridge 2018 and this was not an issue prior to the update. BTW a photo will fill the screen but a pdf will not. I am viewing high res pdf files.
I've grown very tired of this STILL being an issue. Why can't, no wait, you've done that already; instead, please make metadata update from LR to Bridge and Bridge to LR!! Enough already, just make it happen.
When I mouse over thumbnails of photos, a yellow popup appears. How do I get rid of it permanently? It gets in the way when I'm trying to rename files.

I am unable open files directly into PS6. I have open into into RAW using Ctrl R, and then open the file into PS6.The Preferences list is set to 'None' for all files types and the 'Open' options int the file menu do not work, and the @Open with@ is greyed out.Other functions appear to work OK.The programs are working under Windows 10 OS.Is there a simple solution? Help appreciated.
Please forgive me if this duplicates (a portion of) an earlier post.I would like to start a dialog with a knowledgeable Adobe (Bridge) rep. regarding the existing search options within Bridge, which at present, do not include all of the fields for which I need to search. I would and I believe that other users would greatly benefit if Adobe could expand the searchspace to include all of the existing ‘IPTC Core’ metadata categoriesThere are also sections called‘Audio’, ’Video’. and 'DICOM'.My particular interest lies in Orchids. There are thousands of orchid lovers, -growers and -photographers worldwide. Orchids are found growing wild on all of the world’s continents except Antarctic. Many are cultivated in greenhouses or outdoors in benign climates.To-date, I have photographed nearly 1,000 orchids in 4 countries on 2 continents, and am in the process of publishing them on the Web and as hardcopy books. I can see that it would become burdensome for Adobe to accommodate orchids (as

I have been using Bridge for years and have about 80K items keyworded. I upgraded to Bridge 2018 when it became available and my computer started getting really really slow. So, thinking it was the PC, we wiped it and started fresh.I have a super-fast Alien computer and slowness has never been an issue. After reloaded Bridge 2018, the program is still really really slow. I have been working on cleaning up files and today it just stopped and froze. I couldn't even get to task manager to shut it down and was forced to just turn off the computer. After rebooting, everything was fine until I tried to search on keywords. It CTRL+F (find) did not recognize or list the folders so I manually chose them. It immediately comes back "not found". I've tried filenames, keywords, different folders, etc. Nothing. It doesn't even activate the spinning to index the files. I'm only searching on one criteria as well. I then unin
Hello There,I've been using Bridge for some years now and cannot function without it because it's amazing and incredibly useful. With the last 2 updates I can no longer use the "Move To" function. Every time I do Bridge becomes unresponsive, requires a force quit and activity monitor 'end task'. It happens when I drag and drop a file to move it or when I right click and select 'move to'.
Updated Bridge yesterday along with other CC apps on fully updated Win7 PC, opting to not transfer preferences. When I go to Edit, Preferences, Cache and try to change the cache location to a dedicated K: scratch drive, it appears that no disk drives are shown.Previously the solution was to hunt for e.g. 'Computer' or 'This PC' and expand to see the other drives*.However on this PC, all I see as a 'tree' is [Desktop] then just [Admin] below and to the right. When I expand [Admin], I do not see e.g. 'Computer' so cannot browse to other drives. As there is no manual way to enter a drive letter and folder, this is a problem.Any ideas? Thanks*Weirdly, on a Win7 laptop that was also updated (but with the option to transfer preferences accepted) I can see 'Computer' down the tree - at the top is [Desktop] and then beneath [User1] I can see and navigate to [Computer].So, the question is why the tree on the PC seems truncated/limited (when Windows Explorer works perfectly and can show all drives)
I'm stuck with my first Bridge CC 8.0 CEP extension. I'm trying to create an event handler that will trigger in the main.js when a user selects a new thumbnail in the content window and call a function in the extendscript. I've tried a few different options with the following code but nothing appears to work. Thanks for any advice.var csInterface = new CSInterface();csInterface.addEventListener(document.open,function(e){alert("thumbnail selected!");});
Is there a script to batch import IPTC metadata for Headline, Description and Keywords into a set of images in Bridge CS5 ? I can produce the data as a text file (tab delimited) or an Excel file. In 2012 there was a similar discussion with links to various scripts, but none of these links works (Error 404 - page not found etc.)Thanks, Angelo
I updated Camera Raw and installed version 9.8 several times, however, Camera Raw still is not reading my RAW files. I am currently using CS6.Please help me!Thank you!
I just had to re-install my Photoshop CS4 and Bridge programs onto a new computer because my old one crashed. Now Bridge won't read my CR2 files (my camera is a Canon 5D Mark II). In Bridge it just shows me a small thumbnail but won't show the actual picture. When I try to open a file to edit, it says "could not complete request because it is not the right kind of document". I wasn't having any trouble on my old system so I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong?
Background to this post here: Re: Keywords and Subkeywords DisplayI can’t script, however I can sometimes hack them. The more that I look into this, it is harder than I originally expected from say hacking a description to title script.Would like to hack an existing Bridge script to copy the lr:hierarchicalSubject metadata to the standard subject/keyword metadata.Source: <lr:hierarchicalSubject> <rdf:Bag> <rdf:li>Corleone</rdf:li> <rdf:li>Corleone|Don Vito</rdf:li> </rdf:Bag> </lr:hierarchicalSubject>Result:<dc:subject> <rdf:Bag> &nb
Up to Bridge 2017 I could go to Tools > Image Processor and batch resize, rename, etc. The new Bridge (cc 2018) the Image Processor is gone, in fact the Tools> Photoshop path that various tutorials recommend to get to Image Processor for these tasks isn't there either. I do have Tools> Process collections in Photoshop, but I have no idea what it is supposed to do and there is no explanation online that I can find. This isn't solved and I see queries darting back two-plus years.
Hi there ,this might be a silly question, but I have just downloaded the 2018 version of Bridge and I am trying to stitch together photos to make a panorama. In the tools tab, there is no option to pick photoshop and therefore the next screen doesn't come up.Is there another way to do this? Or do I have to go to the 2017 version.??Help would be appreciated.
I'm new to Bridge so please be patient if this is a basic question. I initially set up my photos with a hierarchy of keywords and subkeywords. In my case the Keywords are surnames with subkeywords for each individual person with that surname. Not I am seeing all of the subkeywords (individual people) listed in alphabetical order only. I am not seeing the Keywords (surnames) listed alphabetically with Subkeywords as "subfolders" under them. Can anyone help? Do I just have something set incorrectly in View? (The display was correct until I had to reload Bridge after a hard drive crash.) Thanks.
Hi,I am using the latest version of bridge CC, and when I select an image, it disappears or moves and I cannot find it. Also, if I am down the list of files, it will move me up to the beginning repeatedly.I have downgraded, reinstalled, restarted, cleared the cache... tried everything I can think of.I use bridge all day to find files and this is beyond frustrating! It also freezes quite often.thanksAlix
In Bridge, I click on the Adobe Portfolio logo, but it doesn't connect on the Adobe Portfolio service. What am I missing?
As a long-time (10+ y.) user of Photoshop and Bridge, I have become acutely aware of some limitations of its search capabilities, and would like to discuss these issues with a knowledgeable member of Adobe's team. Have looked around at Adobe.com, hoping to start a chat dialog, but that effort has not succeeded. If one of you could point me in the right direction (perhaps give me an eMail address?), I would be grateful.Best, jwc
