Since last update all my vector files in Bridge wont open ... they say 'document ###### could not be opened AIRobin cannot open files in Adobe Illustrator format???? What is going on?
Hi...new user and decided to try bridge for patch processing which I am LOVING however I am stumped on how to save changes when I make edits to just one image vs a batch. My workflow is that I rotatoe, crop & do some basic color correction to a batch of scanned images then I go through each image and do some additional teaks to some as needed. How do I just save the individual changes? I think my issue may be that I don't understand "save images" or just and image in camera raw. Any suggestions to a newbie? Thank you in advance for your help...I appreciate it!!
Hi Community!I am editing jpg photos in Adobe Bridge, by opening them in ACR (v11.3)I edit the photo, do my adjustment, then save and save with a new file name. Then I click "done" and return to bridge. Now, my original jpg file has all the changes I just made to the file I saved as a new name.I know the raw file isn't altered, but I've started with a jpg file.I can't see anywhere on the orignial jpg file how to "undo" change I did in ACR to go back to the original jpg. How do I keep the original jpg unaltered? Thanks much!
I am trying to process images like I have done a million times before and suddenly I started getting this message. I uninstalled photoshop to see if that was the problem, nothing changed.I created new folders somewhere else, it didn't change this error.I made sure all the folders were read and write and nothing changed the error.I don't know what is wrong and I have a ton of pictures to process. HELP!!!!I am using Photoshop 2020 and Bridge 2020. Is this a known issue with the new versions? I know I didn't have this problem before updating.Let me know, I need to do my job!!!Thanks,Michelle
I use bridge to look through MP4 imports and delete unnecessary clips but recently it will stop generating thumbnails and previews. Even clips that were previously previewed and had thumbnails suddenly stop showing previews and thumbnails. The only solution I have found is to shut everything down, reboot the computer, delete the Bridge cache then re-open the folders with the necessary files and wait for Bridge to generate the thumbnails once again. Deleting the cache does not work without rebooting the computer. I've tried using software rendering and the problem remains. This process is very time consuming. How do I prevent this from happening? Thanks, rgames
I just updated to Photoshop 21. And again, as with many previous updates, it broke my workflow. The whole menu "Photoshop" with Batch command and Image processor disappeared from Bridge 2018 When I opened Bridge again, I got the question if I wanted my Photoshop extensions installed (or something like that) and I clicked yes. But it didn't do it. I reinstalled the older Photoshop 20 app (which in previous breaking of Bridge/Photoshop connections through updates had solved the problem but this time it didn't work) Any chance to make Bridge 2018 work again?
I appear to have two versions of bridge on my pc. v9.1.0.338 & 10.0.0124. Both can be run but when I try to uninstall the earleir version it's not listed. It's only v10 that's listed. How do I uninstall it?
When using the spacebar in Bridge with Catalina the full screen image is pixelated. Tried restarting the computer, Bridge and Photoshop CC and issue is still present.
First of all, I love Bridge. Then I updated to Bridge CS3 and was introduced to a basic spartan interface that is missing the easy to use icon links for functions. I can't find "list view"– no option in drop down menu. There's no "file path" that I can see or bring to view– it used to be on top. I need that to locate sources. I can't find "search engine"– where's the manifying glass? Did I update Bridge with missing accoutrements? Humbly yours, j.
Since updating to Bridge 2020, upon opening the program I get the following notification (translated from German):Proxy-Error: An error has occurred while establishing an Internet connection via the proxy server in your network. Contact your network administrator. What is really annoying, is that this message pops up again every 15-20 minutes. When I leave my PC on over the weekend, I have to click first "OK" for at least hundred times until all popups are closing. In our company the Internet is blocked via Proxy and only specific ports/websites are whitelisted. We already whitelisted a lot of domains to get the Creative Cloud to work. After searching I found the below website and we also added all addresses listed here as well to our whitelist.https://helpx.adobe.com/enterprise/kb/network-endpoints.html However the error message still occurs (although only once now, before adding these domains it popped up twice each time). It would be great to know the specific err
I updated all my CC apps last week (13 November, 2019) and all of them have been working fine except Bridge. The first time I attempted to use it after the update, it opened and closed in the blink of an eye. No error message, no anything. Just there and gone. When restarting Bridge, I held Ctrl+Alt+Shift to reset the Preferences. I also reset my Workspaces. Bridge opened but as soon as I navigated to a different folder or attempted to open a Photoshop or Illustrator file, it crashed again. No error message, it was just gone. I attempted to reopen the app only to have it open and close immediately (no error message, just there and gone again). Again I reset the Preferences and Workspaces to get it to open. I opened a few files, navigated to a few folders before it crashed AGAIN. The only way I can get Bridge to successfully open, not necesarily function, is to reset the Preference and Workstapces. For two days, I have had to reset my Preferences and Workspaces so many ti
Dear Community, everytime I open Bridge 2019 or 2020, the CPU explodes to more than 500%. My iMac freezes, I get a message: "disk is full", so I cannot even save my open files, it is simply impossible to work in this situation. I see that a similar issue was discussed more than one year ago, but apparently there was no solution. Can somebody help me?I work with iMac Retina 5K 27-inch late 20144 GHz Intel Core i7 quad-core32 GB 1600 MHz DDR3AMD Radeon R9 M295X 4 GBmacOS Catalina 10.15Thank you for your help. It's a nightmare!

Hi, I'm running Adobe Bridge 2017 (and Photoshop 2015.5) and was unaware that the link to batch converting files in Photoshop is no longer there. Instead there's one single option to Process Collection in Photoshop. I wanted to convert and resize 2 TIFF images to JPG and mindlessly clicked on this option. A process then began automatically whereby 60 of my images started getting "processed" -- incidentally, I have no idea what kind of processing it was applying since no intervening screen came up asking me what I wanted to do -- with numbers being placed on the image thumbnails. It's only then that I realized that this thing doesn't work as before, and wondered where is the Photoshop option to do various different things, as before.I quickly bailed out of there (by force-quitting, hope that wasn't a mistake) but now when I open Bridge, it's stuck on that process. It's showing various thumbnails with these strange numbers on them, and only a partial amount of the images in that file. I
when I rename in batch even just a few images, the program does not respond and crashes
Whom ever can help me.. please do! Why is my preview in Bridge of a Jpeg image changed to looking over exposed after having the Jpeg image imported from Lightroom? Even when I look in PS it looks normal but it will not generate a normal preview in Bridge. Its only starting doing this. Lightroom and Bridge dont seem to be sinking like it used to. My version of Bridge is 5.0.2.4 and Lightroom 4.4-CR7.4. Thanks
I'm using Catalina 10.15.1 and Bridge 2020. After processing a RAW image the thumbnail is sometimes displayed with an overall pink hue. Using Tools=>Cache=>Purge Cache restores the thumbnail. {thread title edited by moderator}
Hi, even logging off to the Adobe Cloud from Windows 10 Home my Adobe Cloud Login Windows Pro does not upgrade to Bridge 10.
I updated bridge, which had been working just fine, but I felt like I should keep everything updated. What a mistake. Now bridge won't open - at all - yet half these forums have troubleshoot steps for when bridge is OPEN. Which I did do, because after I installed it - it opened ONCE + then wouldn't rate pictures, so I reset all the preferences + closed it, once it was closed it would not start up again at all... I deleted every adobe related product off my computer using Adobe's CC Cleaner because whenever I'd go to uninstall bridge it would say it was running + re-downloaded them all. I'm half tempted to just bite the bullet and buy Photo Mechanic because I can't figure out this bug at all + no information listed online helps whatsoever. I also now have issues when selecting "import" in Lightroom, all because I updated bridge. So, I decided to go back to the version of bridge I'd previously used + it doesn't work either.... + lightroom still won't allow me to import files while Bridge
How do we copy or move only images that we have selected (with labels) located in a substructure (subfolders) (keeping the structure of folders in the new location)? I see that we can copy/move selected images in a specific folder easily with the help of the filter, but is it possible to copy/move only labeled images in a tree structure? Is there any way this would be possible without doing it subfolder by subfolder?

I am trying to edit my photos in the Camera Raw program within Bridge. Every time I use to function it delays so long that it freezes up. For example, I am using the spot removal tool. I click on the spot, I get colorful wheel of death then the action applies. It should apply right as I select the area. What used to take me just a few seconds to edit is now taking me minutes to complete. The whole program is lagging and has progressively gotten worse as the week has gone on. I have uninstalled all my adobe programs and reinstalled them and there is still no improvements. I am using macOS Mojave 10.14.6 as I am terrified to upgrade to Catalina with all the issues I've heard about recently. Of course this happens when I have hundreds of photos to retouch for a major deadline. Can someone please help me?
In previous versions of Bridge when I moved photos and there were mulitple images that were locked it would ask if I was sure to move those (yes or no) plus there would be a checkbox "apply to all".That checkbox is gone and that ticks me off enormously. Can I get it back somehow?
Hi, in the new Bridge 2020, the previews colors of .psd especially is absolutely wrong, to much green and shadows are very dark. No problem in PS. That's absolutely not useful.I tried to reinstall Bridge 2019, and no colors problems if i refresh the preview with a purge of the cache of the file. If i go back to Bridge 2020 and i reflesh the preview, the colors become wrong again. So the preview module of Bridge 2020 is absolutely broken, you need to keep the one from 2019 version.
