Bridge

Can my 4 person team use Bridge as a photo database? We want to be able to tag photos and sort photos with ease. We have about 40 products and have thousands of photos. We need to be able to search through all of them fairly quickly and find what we need.Currently, we use the folder system but that is proving less than efficient. If not Bridge, do you have another recommendation? TIA

During the installation of the CS6 Design Standard system, it is possible to complete it, all programs work without problems except Bridge. The 32 and 64 versions are installed, but none of them runs - the program's starter loop is spinning for a while and disappears and the program does not start. I've tried reinstalling with CC clearner and it does not give me anything.I will be grateful for your help because work without this program is twice as heavy.Data: Win 10 Pro version a10.0.17134, X64 Intel I5 - 7500

In Bridge 2018, in my keywords workflow setup, I could put the Content panel in the left pane and the bar showing number of items and slide to resize thumbnails stayed across the bottom of the keywords workflow window.In 2019 when I set up a keywords workflow with the Content panel in the left pane, the bar showing number of items etc. goes with the Content panel to the left pane.In 2019 no matter which workflow I am in, or which pane the Content panel is in, the bar described above always goes to the pane the Content panel is in. But I want the bar to stay under the whole window as it did in 2018 no matter which pane Content is in. And in 2019 I want the bar to stay under the whole window when I put the Content panel in the left pane in the keywords workflow window.I've been on the phone with Adobe in India (Adobe please use US people so we can understand each other) for hours with no results. Is there any way to get back to the 2018 way?

I keep getting an error window pop open whenever I open Bridge.  It says "There is no disk in the drive.  Please insert a disk into drive \Device\Harddisk4\DR4.  I have uninstalled Bridge and re-installed but still can't get it fixed.  HELP

until recently Bridge and PS Express on my phone synced flawlessly. now they won't sync at all. photos import from my Mac, card, or camera. no problem. but now they aren't making their way to my phone. can any help?thank youCary

After spending about 2 hours reorganizing my photos into new folders, I am unable to exit bridge. I only have the rotating colored disc as the cursor and nothing else works. hope you can help. tried to update to make sure that I have the latest version. Can't verify what version I have because of the lockup. I installed what I have less than a week ago.

Adobe has updated Bridge with Bridge CC Version 9.0 and removed the option to make the programs background color completely white.I used that feature all of the time to quickly proof the way a set a clipped images would look as a grid on a website. Or really the way any image would look in a browser or on a piece of paper. Most images get placed on white...There use to be a slider to choose the Interface Color Theme or background color for the Content and Preview tabs, and now there's just 4 Color Theme options, lightest being a very light shade of grey, close to white, but not hot white.Does anyone know how to reenable this functionality?Any suggestions to regain this functionality would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Folks,I'm new to this community, so forgive me if my problem has been answered/resolved somewhere else in this forum.Every time I start Bridge CC (I have the latest version 9.0.1.216 x64), I get a 'Bridge.exe - No Disk' error message saying 'There is no disc in the drive. Please insert a disc into drive \Device\Harddisc3\DR3'. How can I stop this most annoying message please?

My adobe bridge has gone awry and seems to have divided my folders into three A to Z lumps. How do I get them back into one listing?

Hallo, when I enlarge a picture by using the space bar, it is not sharp. Other viewers like View NX (Nikon) and Windows Viewer they give sharp images.De Bruyn Georges

hello!first time posting but so frustrated and have been googling like crazy. I recently updated my Mac retina to Mojave and since then everything has been SO painfully slow and bridge keeps shutting down and my Mac keeps restarting..:right in the middle of editing. Then bridge termination reason is:  namespace SIGNAL, code 0xbI have already uninstalled, restarted and reinstalled bridge but it’s still happening.I am also not super techy so any help would be appreciated! Unable to preview some .ai files in the preview panel.Some .ai files i see  some others do not.Why? I have tried multiply time to get Bridge cc to export multiply images as layers in the new Photoshop CC 19 update and I done not work at all, it will export an single image but not all the images I have selected for the layered image. I am using the Tool_Photoshop_Load files in Photoshop layers, no go, I tried to change the File association in preferences still no go. Had to go back to using PS CC 18, as it works with the version. What is going on? Has any one have a solution for this problem? 

I have thousands of files & a number of cameras, so it's important to me to know which camera & lens I used for a shot as well as the settings. Bridge 2019 shows a huge amount of metadata, but NO camera data except for orientation and Exif colour space! What happened to the important data? I have edited metadata in Preferences, but this makes absolutely no difference.

Ever since the install of Bridge CC 2019, Bridge occasionally crashes right at launch.  The error states that I should update my display drivers.  But they are updated - twice.  I am running the newest system and devices including the new 2010 Nvidia GPU.  My system is more than powerful enough, and I have more than enough high speed ram at 32 gb. Windows 10-64 is updated. Yes, I have removed and reinstalled the application.  Several times/I have reverted back to Bridge CC 2018 and I have no problem.  With the recent update of Bridge CC 2019 I have reinstalled and with the newest Nvidia drivers and the problem has returned.  It is not every time but usually crashes on the initial daily start up.  Windows has recorded the crash in the event log. Bridge 2019 is dropping the image ratings after using the batch rename tool. During archiving we rate images 1 for archive and 2 for web-use. Our final step in Bridge is to rename each group of images. When we are doing that with the 2019 version all the images end up with no rating.

I have an issue during the visualization in the last Bridge Vers. 9.0 Oct 2018.   If I open the full screen visualization, through tjhe space bar, this is not high quality, but it comes only if I zoom in to 100 %.   Which is the solution ?   I would like to see whether a photo is taken with right focus just with the full screen visualization, without zooming in.    Thank to all of you for the support!Stefano Ho un problema durante la visualizzazione delle foto in Adobe Bridge, versione ultima 9.0 di Ottobre 2018. I have CS4 (yes, laugh) but I'm not doing Pro photography anymore to justify CC.I still really like the version I own.  I got a new computer with Windows 10 and installed CS4. Raw files will open in Photoshop yet Bridge does not display image previews just the camera raw cr2 file. My camera is 5D MII and I updated to ACR 5.2 and when that didn't work, 5.7 & still nothing. I've researched the topic and have attempted to purge cache, etc. I know it's something simple that I overlooked but exhausted in my attempts to get it to work like it did prior to installing it on new computer.Please help if you can.Christine

I use MacOs Mojave with a Mac Pro late 2013, 3.7GHz quad core processor, 32 GB memory and AMD Firepro D300 2GB graphics.  I updated both Bridge and Photoshop when the new software was first made available.  Yesterday I tried to save some Tiff files as Jpegs so that i might export them via the internet.  This created a problem. CR2 images developed in Photoshop ACR, saved as Tiff Smart Objects and viewed in Bridge look good.  However, when the Tiffs are then re-saved as Jpegs and viewed in Bridge the Jpegs are pixelated.  The same Tiffs re-saved as Tiffs or as PSD files look fine in Bridge.  When the pixelated file in Bridge is viewed at 100% it is pixelated for a short time and then looks ok.  Pixelation is only seen when the Jpeg file is viewed at the usual size in Bridge.  The extent of pixelation is not massive but sufficient to be objectionable.I have: uninstalled and reinstalled both Bridge and Photoshop purged the relevant caches deleted th

When Bridge cc 2019 is open,everyting is slow and jerkey. First noticed it after opening an image into PS from Bridge. Have to turn Bridge off in order to work in PS because the mouse and brushes are slow and jerkey.  Discovered that the same slow and jerkey is evident not only in PS but even moving around on the computer. All clears up when i shut down Bridge.  Am using Windows 7 professional 64 bit.

Is there any way to preview RED files (.R3D) or (.RDC) on Adobe Bridge?

Hello!I recently backed up to High Sierra after not liking Mojave. All my setting got lost of course and Bridge appears to have made some updates. I'm struggling to adjust a view option that I'm hoping still exists.In the Preview pane my file name is truncated. I'd like for it to be full. Any ideas?Thanks much!Mo
