I updated my Adobe Bridge today and now the shortcuts don't work. For instance, now the spacebar doesn't zoom in on the photo, etc. I use Bridge a lot with my work, Help!

When I go into Bridge and choose "This PC" it shows my C Drive and then starts building infinite "D" Drives making it impossible to retreive files from other drives. Any help?Jim Cummings

I'm trying to add an efficiency into my workflow. When my org produces images for our website, I add some basic metadata info appropriate for all imagery. I'd love to speed up the process a bit. I'm wondering if either of the two hypotheticals sounds achievable:Is it possible to create a script that would execute a metadata write? I'm thinking here of when I've used scripts where I drag them on top of a file and it 'does something' (like my technical jargon?)Can I create a watch folder within Bridge? I'd be down with just remembering to copy my images into a folder before it goes to its final home.Perhaps there's some other modality. I dunno. I couldn't find anything in my searches. Any direction would be appreciated.

Since i did the update, Bridge is not running! It opens and at the step of "building criteria" is freezing. I did a restart to my laptop, but its the same thing.... I need help i can't do the things i want,and my job has stopped! Before this thing, everything was ok.

OK, here's the issue.I have a lot of Illustrator Artwork, which I have assigned keywords to.I also have an extensive photo collection, as well as audio and video collections.Is it possible to have separate keyword databases? What I mean is this: one keyword database for the Illustrator artwork that will not show up when I want to make  keywords assigned to photos, music, or videos? I have not found a way to do this. I am using CS4 on a WIndows 8.1 system.Thank you for your assistance!

Hi,The newest version of Photoshop and Bridge seems to have made Camera Raw use scrubby zoom instead of the drag and enlarge zoom, and I'm not sure how to change it, is there a way?Thanks,Martin

For many Years I use "Photodownloader" (Part of Bridge). At the moment that I put my SD Card into the PC It's started automaticly.But eversince a few month's it doesn't do that anymore.It's no problem to start it manually but thats's not what I want.I use a PC, Windows 10, Adobe CC 2018.On recommendation by Adobe I uninstalled Bridge CC 2018 (their comment "Photodownloader is not supoorted by CC 2018 - still it worked)but without any result.What do I have to do to let Photodownloader starting when I put in my SD card in my PC.Hope that someone can help my..with regardsJaap BaartNetherlands

I'm working at a production company trying to get about 15 TB of video footage archived and keyworded to make them searchable. Up until now, they've been working with Final Cut, so I've been doing tagging and other metadata edits in Kyno and Neofinder. Now they're switching to Adobe, so I want to find a way to make this work with Bridge and Premiere (and possibly Prelude).Most of the files we have are in .MTS or .MP4 format, which I understand doesn't support metadata being written directly to the file. When I edit in Neofinder, it creates an XMP sidecar file for the metadata, but the problem is Bridge and Premiere seem to ignore this metadata. Does anyone know a way to make this work? Right now the only solution I can think of is converting everything to .mov which will make the files much larger and create problems for the company with storage and budget.Thanks for any suggestions.

Running iMac with OS X High Sierra 10.13.1. When I open Bridge and double click on an image to launch Photoshop, I get an error message saying "PS icon - some of the application components are missing from the application directory.  Please reinstall the application."I've uninstalled and reinstalled both Bridge and Photoshop CC and continue to get the error message. Any suggestions?Thanks - Jim

Adobe Bridge is not recognising CFast 2.0 - Windows can see it just fine - Bridge does NOT.  This has been a problem for OVER a year - when can we finally expect a fix for this issue????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

There is no problem connecting  Nikon D500 and load the photos to my laptop with Photodownloader or LR-Import. (newest and older Versions)There is a problem connecting D500 to my PC since two months.If there is one RAW-photo on my memory card Photodownloader needs 10 seconds "connecting to the device"If there are 10 photos on the memory card  Photodownloader  needs 100 seconds "connecting to the device".After that time the photos are loaded quickly.Photodownloader seems to be more clever than Lightroom CC Classic.In the mentioned  cases above Lightroom-Import tells me after 10 resp. 100 seconds : " no photos found".Any ideas? Thank you!  And please: no proposal: "Take the cardreader"

Is there a function in Bridge where you can save the photo with camera settings in the name?When I use photos it would help if the pictures shows f, ISO and AE.Can I chose somewhere specific metadata I want in the photo name in Bridge.- so I dont have to write that in the caption individually?

Just got upgraded, double-click won't send image to Photoshop CC any more, must select "Open With.." Small pain" Tried to set open preference for TIFF images to Photoshop CC and now I lost all TIFF image thumbnail to a PS file image but not thumbnail image of photo. What can I do to restore the thumbnail image of TIFF files? JPEG show ok.

hi,i've got some large external drives full of images, mainly pdf's..when generating bridge thumbnails for them, i only used the "export cache to folders" option.working with bridge as a graphic designer using a ssd system drive pc environment, brings me again and again to the pointwhen bridge messes up all my system space in the "roaming" folder. (even with "export cache to folders" option).so i concluded this might be because of the rather larger preview files, so i cleared up the "1024" folder in "roaming"but it didn't help much. i noticed the "256" folder was huge too, so i had to purge it. BUT! oh my god! all my thumbnails,from all the drives, all gone!does the "export cache to folders" option work, or how to make it work?i wish i could create and locate my thumb databases individually .. to the drives where the images are, and being able to load..(as thumbsplus could do 20 yeas ago...)regenerating all these thumbs again and again for external backup drives consumes a lot of my wo

Hi, I'm a Photo Mechanic user, but I'm having problems with their latest release (PM5), so I thought I'd check out the latest version of Bridge to see if it can serve the same function. I'm having problems getting sharp previews. When I hit the spacebar to view an image full screen it looks blurred. My photoshop has stopped loading minibridge which is also supposed to start bridge. This has started since I upgraded my Acrobat to Acrobat Reader DC so I see this as an Adobe created problem that requires an Adobe solution.  I have completed removed my Creative Suite 5 Master Collection and completely reinstalled.  I have tried using a different user and that doesn't work.  Is there a way that I can get some immediate help?

Hi, When using right click on one or multiple image in bridge and choosing Export to hard drive or any other optionthe windows with the export option wont open.on closing bridge i have a warning that the image are in the output queue but no window will appear to select the destination folder etc...can you helpthxJonathan

How do I use Batch Rename to remove file extensions? Yes, I'm really sure that I want to do this. The closest I can get is the filename with a leading space.

I use Camera Raw edit my photos (dng files) in half month before,at that time my photos still functioning properly in Camera Raw but today I open that photos want to edit again,it appear red colour in my photos,also the photos appear yellow exclamation mark......I updated the software to Camera Raw 10 already and try to open it but still same......Is there any idea can solve it?

I recently upgraded to Bridge CC 2018.Now the bridge browser is only showing the folder c:\users\[my_user_name]So when choosing a folder to move files or copy files to, or changing folder-locations in the preferences, I can only select in c:\users\[my_user_name]Why the browser is no longer showing me the other folders ?Adobe bridge 8.0.0.262 x64OS: windows 10 version 1703 build 15063.726

Without a discernible pattern as to when it occurs, every RAW image I give a star rating has the date created altered by Bridge. Bridge also changed the white balance. Any possible solutions?  

Hi all.I use Bridge in my photography workflow.Basically, for every model in the studio, I would group the photos in a folder with model's name, then I would run the 'batch rename' command (which renames the file to year-folder name - number). Having all files renamed, I'd go to the output module and export photographs as a 4*5 cell contact sheet which I can then send to the client.I am relatively new to programming hence not sure where to get started, but I was wondering whether it is even possible - to create a script which would execute this command (rename all, create pdf output) for all folders within the folder the script is run in?I would greatly appreciate if someone could point me in the right direction or advise if something remotely similar has been ever developped, or if it's possible to do at all.I think it would be super-handy for processing photos, especially when a lot of models are involved.Thank you in advance for your help!
