When browsing thumbnails using the arrow keys, Bridge will start scrolling through all the photos until it reaches the end of the folder. This makes Bridge unusable for browsing thumbnails.

HEIC files are not displayed when the name of the folder they're in contains special characters, such as German umlauts (ü,ö), Chinese, Japanese, Korean characters and others. This bug was already reported and acknowledged a year ago and is still present in 16.0.2.23.

Hi,when exporting through the export panel.  I have square transparent png files that I want to crop to a 2/3 format.  When filling everyting in, the first weird thing is that the numbers are 2000,0000 pixels as a format.  Then when exporting the file is indeed 2000 pixels in width, but the heigth is only 1pixel.Thx

Il problema sta in camera raw che richiamo da Bridge. Lavorando files in .DNG salvando il lavoro, il file non viene scritto sull’hard disk. Premetto che ho lavorato tutto il giorno e funzionava correttamente, da un’ora circa non si riesce più a salvare. La procedura si salvataggio non da nessun errore sembra che proceda normalmente, invece non scrive il file (in formato .jpeg) su hard disk

All export processes in Bridge work fine. Small PSDs to jpg , in the same or another folder, with or without resizing.But I have some big (1.5 Go) PSD files. When I try to export it to jpg, the job is done (the jpg is well created) but the process never end ==> I have to cancel the process (wth confirmation).At this time, if i want to close Bridge, that says a process is currently on going… Only solution is to CRASH bridge manually.Thanks for your helpEric from France

Hi guys, question: Why does Adobe Bridge from version 2025 not show thumbnails/previews for the MP4 (maybe other rich media files with video content)? It was so a handy/useful function, and it really works well. I didn´t change anything in the production chain, taking video the same way as I did before, and it stops working and displays just an annoying icon of the player instead. I tried to clean up the cache (Purge cache for selection) as well as to reinstall HEVC codecs in Windows, but nothing helped. Is there any reason why this stops working? Dear Adobe commmunity,I use Bridge to go through my pictures before importing a select few into Lightroom when I've gone through the SD card. I have done this same exact process for years without any trouble.Today, I had multiple SD cards to go through, and the first one went as smooth as always. After ejecting the first card and inserting another (same type of card from the same brand), I opened Bridge back up, and everything seemed fine. I had a sip of my drink and prepared to go through the ~2300 images I had in front of me. It's a lot, but I have gone through double that amount without any trouble. I came to picture number 10, and wanted to label it as "Select" (the red group) as I always do this for the images I want to bring with me through the process.I used to be able to just click the number 6, and it would work fine. Once I starting using a CFexpress Type-B card after a Nikon D850 Firmware update, I've noticed that when I upload new files via Bridge, not all of the files are being read.As an example, I shot 32 images this morning, but when I began uploading via Bridge, it read only 22.I have my Bridge programed to open up the Photo Downloader when I begin the process.But, when I open Photo Downloader first, then Bridge, all of the files I shot are correctly read. Has anyone else have/had this problem? Is there anything that can be done to sort this out?

Hello, I have observed this problem for years now in every Bridge release and it is getting worse. When Bridge generates thumbnail previews for EXR files generated by 3ds Max, the images appear darkened as if they are using the lowest quality preview settings. I have tried using the default preview settings and every combination available, but they all now produce the same bad looking thumbnails. In the previous releases before 2025 version, the workaround was to simply toggle the preview settings between default and something else and then back. That caused Bridge to correctly produce thumbnail previews afterwards for that Bridge session. Upon restarting Bridge, you would have to perform that ritual again. But now in the 2025 version, no changing of the settings corrects this. The only way to see a proper preview is to right click each thumbnail individually and select the purge cache for selection menu option. That will fix the preview for that one thumbnail only. I’m working on a folder in bridge.  I create a folder elsewhere - or worse *bridge creates the folder*, but it will not update the folder view to show the folder. Its been like this since I got a. macbook ~2 years ago. I don't understand how this is possible.  Unless there is something glaringly obvious I’m not doing?   I make an export to the same folder creating “jpeg” subfolder. Nothing I do will make the jpeg folder appear.  In order to do that I have to navigate to it in finder, and open a file from there.  This is in bridge 16, but it's been the same for 2 years.  I’m on sonoma 14.4

For a very long time (probably over a year), Br has been freezing when switching Workspaces, changing their view from Light Table to Folders, etc. Then only killing it in Task Manager helps. Sometimes it simply shuts down for no reason. Furthermore, indexing thumbnails takes a very long time, and sometimes they don't display at all for larger files. Purging all local cache files helps for a while, but the problem returns quite quickly. Br can also freeze the entire computer upon startup, and only a manual restart is the solution. Task Manager shows two Br processes, one of which persists even after closing it—it also needs to be killed manually. I don't have a GPU in the processor - Xeon W-2255, NVIDIA Quadro RTX 5000 and 128 GB of RAM, so it's probably not a hardware incompatibility issue. It's strange that the same problem has persisted for so long and nothing has been fixed.

When I zoom a Webp image downloaded from Adobe Community from full screen to 100% size in Bridge, it appears small.I can zoom to 100% when viewing it in Windows Photos. Win11Brdge16.0.2

If I drop more than one folder onto Bridge I get this error:I've eptied/deleted caches, reset preferences, uninstalled and reinstalled and it still gives me that error. Please help.

Im using a MacMini with a M1 chip running MacOs 26.2. Every time I try to open Bridge it hangs and sometimes I need 10 attempts before Bridge open. This is quite useless and I really need some help to fix this problem. Otherwise why pay for something I can't use...

I originally reported this bug two years ago and nothing has been fixed. There seems to be a bug in Premiere 2025 (latest update) where when I import a .scc file, and have music symbols around lyrics of a concert, a lot of the closing music note symbols around lyrics are not there, causing me to have to manually replace them.  This can be extremely time consuming when you have 1000+ lines of music lyrics.  The note symbols are in the original caption and .scc files before importing into Premiere.  Very time consuming and irratating to have to replace these!  This has happened on two separate concerts I have captioned in Premiere. This has been validated by Stan Jones and several other power users. ::::::::::::::NEW BUG::::::::::::::::Also in the latest release (2025), markers will not ripple even if the option is checked in the markers options menu: "Ripple Sequence Markers" Thanks-Scott 

Bonjour,Je me rapproche de vous car j'ai un problème que je n'arrive pas à solutionner avec Adobe Bridge. Dans notre service, nous avons récemment remplacé nos vieux macs par des PC et pour des raisons de confidentialités, ces 5 PC sont sur un réseau local, sans accès à internet. Tous les logiciels Adobe (Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign…) fonctionnent correctement, sauf Bridge.Le problème est simple, sur un lot de photos (quel que soit leur nature : Jpeg, DNG…) dès que l’on fait la moindre opération, par exemple définir 5 étoiles, cela met de plus en plus longtemps. Sur la première photo, c’est immédiat, sur la 2e cela prend 1s, sur le 3e cela prend 2s et ainsi de suite, le temps de rallonge pour chaque clic… jusqu’à ce que le logiciel de frise… Que les photos soient sur le réseau ou même en local sur le PC, le problème persiste.Par contre pour des tests, dès que je mets une station sur internet, le logiciel Bridge recommence à fonctionner normalement sans aucun rallentisement. Bridge v.16.0.1.18 can't generate preview for WebP generated from Ai Asset Export. Resave WebP from Photoshop fixes the issue. 

Hello Adobe Team, I am experiencing a persistent performance issue with Adobe Bridge (Beta). Issue Description:Adobe Bridge frequently freezes and becomes unresponsive when navigating between folders or browsing content. This happens very often during normal use, especially when switching between directories, and significantly affects my workflow. Software Information:- Application: Adobe Bridge (Beta)- Version: 16.0.1.15- Operating System: macOS Tahoe 26.2 Hardware Information:- Device: MacBook Pro (13-inch, 2020)- Chip: Apple M1- Memory: 16 GB RAM Additional Notes:Restarting the application and the system did not resolve the issue. I would like to know if this is a known issue related to this version or Apple Silicon (M1), and if there are any recommended fixes or workarounds. Thank you.

Why doesn't Adobe Bridge recognize H.265??!!

Everytime Bridge updates it changes or in this morning's case deleted, all the file associations. It is really annoying and takes a bunch of frustration and time to resset them. 

I have finally updated to the "new" version of Bridge, after holding onto the old one (version 12 I think) as long as possible until it was no longer available to download. There are a lot of things that are disappointing, but one of the main ones is that you aren't able to type and quickly navigate to a file/folder within the Content window. You type a letter or two, then it takes about a half a second to actually select the appropriate file name. This is very annoying. It should move instantly, the way it used to. I'm on Windows 11, Bridge 16.0.1.18 Steps to reproduce:Open BridgeNavigate to folderType first letter of file Expected result:the intended file is immeditely selected Actual restul:the intended file is selected after a long gap

This issue has been ongoing for a couple of months. Since 2026 is my year to organize myself, I really want to get Bridge rolling! As far as I can tell, it does not sync with iCloud or any other service. I'm attaching screen grabs that may help. Please let me know if more is needed. I did reboot Bridge 3x (16.01.1.18) and my Mac is up to date, I rebooted it 2x. Fingers crossed! Thanks in advance for any help! Kathy
