Is it yet possible to rotate JPEG2000 files in Bridge? I know that in the past it hasn't been...

With 3D objects becoming a larger part of workflows, I'd love to see support for previewing OBJ and FBX (at least) in Bridge, similar to the support found in Directory Opus. For those of us with large libraries of OBJs used in Kitbashing and archvis, this would be an amazing workflow improver.

Hello,After updating Bridge (14.1.2), the application recognises my external drive where all my personal folders are stored, but it doesn't display the tree structure, so I can't view any photos.I'm using an Imac with macOS Ventura 13.6.9I had the same problem with version 14.1.1.So I reinstalled version 14.1.0, which works normally.How can I solve the problem of updating to the latest versions of Bridge? Please note that all Apple accessibility settings have been checked and are correctly activated.Thank you in advance for your answer  

Is it possible to set different sort orders for different folders?I'd like to have some folders sorted by filename, others by date taken. However it appears when I set a folder to one of those, every folder then gets sorted the same way.Am I missing something, or is what I want not possible?

Hi, I am using a Mac BookPro, 16-inch, 2023 M2 Pro, running the latest Mac OS Sonoma 14.5. I would like to know if there is some way in saving raw image files (NEF)(edited) from Adobe Bridge, with the side car files (xmp files)(because of editing/adding meta data/etc.) so the xmp side car file is hidden, instead of visible in the file I store them to (maybe a setting someplace or something?). I know it is necessary to have these files because they carry the edited information with them, but I would like to not have them visible. So as not to have the added clutter, making, at least for me, it harder to look through the files with these raw images that have the xmp attached to them. Thank you for any help given.Dan

When viewing images in Bridge, I often get a horizontal scrollbar and it displays all the images in one row. I have zoom out in order to view them as more of a 'gallery / thumbnail' view. Is there a way to do this without having to zoom out? I'd like them to be large, but without side-scrolling

This feature is already in Windows (11).Something akin to this:The number is the date the folder was created import, generated by Bridge.Thanks

As an example: I have Bridge open, showing the contents of a particular folder. I create a document (in any program, such as InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Microsoft Word, etc.). I save the document to that particular folder. The icon for the new document doesn't automatically appear in the folder in Bridge. It won't show unless I click on "Refresh" in the "View" menu in Bridge. In previous versions of Bridge, the document icon would appear immediately - as soon as I saved the document to the folder. I did check preferences to see if there's a setting in there. I am batch exporting multi PSD files (each a different dimension and at 72 ppi) to jpgs at 100% and another set at 50%. However when I check my JPG files, they are now at 300 PPI. Why is this happening if my file is at 72 ppi? How can I prevent. it.I would like to avoid multiple steps of exporting a set of jpgs to 100% and then having to export those jpgs again to 72 PPI.  Thank you in advanced! 

As 3D is coming to Adobe tools through dimension , Substance and now Medium  I would strongly suggest that bridge could browse 3D files   You can now see dimension preview on bridge and thats great   I'd like to see .obj and .FBX as well as other 3D format and be able to open them in dimension from bridge   I know it wont be for tomoroow but i'd really like this to be taken in account as ther is no great 3D viewer out there  

Hi, is that really true? I just recognized that changing sort views in Bridge is very/too rigid. You have to go to the View menu with your mouse! Often, especially in different folders for different reasons, I would like to change the order fast, for example, from the manual order to the ascending order. Now I'm clicking, clicking and clicking. - It is hard for me to think that there is not an easy way to use your own shortcuts, in the similar manner as in PS. Is this true??? Regards, Tuomas

I'm using the most current verion of Bridge (as of 8/15/24 with a recent update) and I just copied some images to a folder with original edited images.  I've done this three times today and each time I select Auto-Resolve if they have the same file name.  Which ALWAYS has ammended the copied file name with a single digit.  Today it REPLACED the edited images with a version of the copied one.  However the copied images are a lower resolution and when it replaced the edited version, it kept the high file size and resolution.So before I spend an hour of my time that I don't have today, to re-edit those images - is there a way to restore them or is this a bug?

Hi Everyone, I have a PDF dataset that has a very strange name format I would like to change.A broad example would  be: test01move0 (Current format) ---> TEST_mv-1 (Desired format) What I want the expression to do is:Capitalise the first four letters (test)Move the number to the back (01)Change the word move to mvDelete the 0 at the end The word at the beginning can vary so if there is a way of capitalising it regardless of the word that would be ideal.The underscore and hyphen I used in the example are also required. I understood this is a lot to ask without a lot of context, so if there is any more information people need to tackle this I am happy to provide it. Looking forward to hearing peoples thoughts.

I’ve been using Adobe Bridge for years, and I’ve encountered a recurring issue where my Favorites and Collections suddenly disappear without warning. I don’t rename or move any folders, so I’m not sure what’s causing this. Has anyone else experienced this or know why it might be happening?   

I am using adobe bridge as the photo archiving system in my photography institution where large number of photographs are produced. These photographs are to be archived for hundreds of years and i am afraid that the bridge archiving system wont last forever. So i need some of your suggestion, if the adobe bridge archiving system lasts for long period of time. Thank You !

Searching for ANYTHING in Bridge, on both my Mac and Windows PC, returns either no results or limited results.  I have relied on search for many years, and it has been completely unriable for some time now.  I include "search subfolders" and have selected "if all criteria are met" and "if any criteria are met."  I have tested many different ways, and searched for items directly within a folder that I know are there., like files  created with a date or known file name.  I can SEE THOSE ITEMS but search doesn't find them.  This is a real problem. 

We're using a custom workflow in Adobe Bridge Workflow to generate JPEGs from TIFFs, and we'd like to retain the same resolution and pixel dimensions of the original files. We used to be able to select "Scale image: 100%" for this. Now, however, it always will change the resolution to 300ppi unless we select a resolution and dimension to resize to. This doesn't work great for us since we generate JPEGs from files with varying dimensions and resolutions. Why does Bridge always change the resolution to 300ppi and is there a way to fix this? We're using version 14.0.1.137.

Hey everyone, I’m having some trouble after updating to Bridge v14.1.2. The program recognizes all the locations and folders, but it won’t actually open any of them. I’ve tried restarting multiple times, but nothing’s working. Has anyone else run into this issue? Thanks for your help!

I am on a Mac m1 Mini running Sonoma 14.6.1 with an Adobe Creative Cloud account with LrC, PS, Bridge, and Camera Raw. Recently Adobe update Bridge to version 14.1.2 and I upgraded the app. Today I tried to launch it and I get the following error: Looking at Finder, the date created and modified for Bridge is Nov 3, 2023. I uninstalled and reinstalled the latest version and got the same error. I uninstalled and installed 14.1.1 and 14.1.0 to no avail. I also went back several months to recover Bridge from Time Machine and nothing changes. I have also verified permissions. And checking the web and Adobe forums have not helped.Any suggestions would be most welcomed. TIA

They look really really bad. This has been a thing for at least 2 years now, one day bridge updated and it just started using really low resolution thumbnails and you cannot tell what it even in them most of the time. If you look in the %appdata%/adobe/bridge/cache folder you can find 256 and 1024 thumbs, but it only uses the 256 thumbs and there is no way to force it to use the higher quality thumbnails it caches. I don't know if this is just an issue no one noticed at adobe or if it's an issue they aren't seeing on their own dev versions, but I've confirmed it with multiple other people at this point, including adobe. Sometimes if you scroll fast enough in bridge for it to not generate a thumbnail, it will use the embedded thumb for the file, or a preview version or something - and this embedded/preview of the file is far higher quality and loads quicker than any of the generated thumbnails. However, once you click on the file it generates a super low resolution preview and
