Hi! I am attempting to use the Substance Plugin for Maya to generate my hyper-shade network for Redshift. However, whenever I try to render the scene I get the error message "(substanceOutputNode) is not supported by Redshift." I was able to get Redshift to render the scene perfectly fine once time before it returned to giving me error messages. Any help would be appreciated!
Currently using blender 4.2 and aslo tested the pluggin on blender 4.0 but either version gives the same result, working on an HP Pavillion laptop running windows 11, the plugin is version2.1.1. The sbsar material will load in with all the correct exposed parameters but when clicking apply it always says the material must be rendered first but never does
the fact is that when you press the "load" button, several seconds pass and instead of opening the archive selection browser, the inscription "Substance 3D in Blender: SRE Initialized successfully in [2.029] seconds" is displayed I reinstalled the addon and tools, even installed different versions of the blender, but nothing works
Hi im new to this side of 3d. When I try to use the plug in "substance 3d for unreal engine" in UE5.3.1 and 5.2.1 to import a sbsar file it shows this error and does not show up in the folder: And when I try to import the same file a second time in a row I get an overwrite warning for the file like it was allready imported:If I click Yes, the file appears in the folder, but I cant use it, and sometimes UE crashes. Here are some logs:Im going to try on UE4 next
After loading and applying a sbsar using the Adobe Substance Blender Add-on, objects exported to gLTF or USD lose their material. No textures are exported or embedded into the files. gLTF export works fine in current Blender 4.2, though USD export still seems to lose the material.
I tried to load a .sbsar file and received the following message in Substance 3D in Blender: "Substance file [base-concrete.sbsar] located at [D:\blender檔案\texter\base-concrete.sbsar] could not be loaded."
The load page does not appear due to an error

我嘗試載入 .sbsar 檔,並在 Blender 的 Substance 3D 中收到以下消息:“無法載入位於 [D:\blender檔案\texter\base-concrete.sbsar] 的物質檔 [base-concrete.sbsar]。
i am using Unity 2022.3.22. When i import the substance to unity plugin i am met with these errors. I am targetting the Android platfrom as i am making a VR experience. I have changed the the .so files in the plugin folder to include android but this does not help . I did see others with this issue but they said they fixed this issue with the sbsario.dll file. Any help would be greatly appretiated 🙂
I noticed that using "Substance2" node will increase rendertimes from 400%-1000% compared to old "Substance" node. This makes Substance workflow very difficult right now. I can replicate the effect just by connecting substance map in to the Diffuse slot of a material and rendering. We use V-ray 5 but the perfomance issue is noticeable with Arnold renderer also. I have contacted Substance support and have not recieved any solutions.I have switched Substance engines between GPU and CPU but no difference in render time. Also noticed that the "Substance2" resource allocation is different than the "Substance". Please see the images and compare the render times and see the picture from the Task Manager.
Hi im having trouble booting an older project with substance materials. Ive updated everything to UE 5.3 and installed latest plugin but when booting any project with existing materials from substance, it fails. Is there any way I can get around this?Thankshere is the crash log:LoginId:3513e7b349de3ff6ba70b1876b562d95EpicAccountId:b2218432cad24958b00a013ed0dd3db8Assertion failed: [File:D:\build\++UE5\Sync\Engine\Source\Runtime\CoreUObject\Private\UObject\LinkerLoad.cpp] [Line: 4616] Z:\HYPERDRIVE\UNREAL_ENGINE\Projects\Megascans 4.25\Content\Materials\Substance\3D_Printed_Triangle_Links_INST_ambientocclusion.uasset: SubstanceTexture2D /Game/Materials/Substance/3D_Printed_Triangle_Links_INST_ambientocclusion.3D_Printed_Triangle_Links_INST_ambientocclusion: Serial size mismatch: Got 312, Expected 600KERNELBASEUnrealEditor_CoreUnrealEditor_CoreUnrealEditor_CoreUnrealEditor_CoreUnrealEditor_CoreUnrealEditor_CoreUObjectUnrealEditor_CoreUObjectUnrealEditor_CoreUObjectUnrealEditor_CoreUObject
I made in Sampler an SBSAR with the Embroidery generator. Unfortunatelly the color look completely different when I import this sbsar in Blender with the substance 3d-addon for Blender. Did any of you have this issue too? I use Blender 4.1 and the substance 3d-addon for Blender 2.0.0
Getting the following error:dlerror: dlopen(.../Assets/Adobe/Substance3DForUnity//Runtime/Plugins/libsbsario.dylib, 0x0003): tried: '.../Assets/Adobe/Substance3DForUnity//Runtime/Plugins/libsbsario.dylib' (mach-o file, but is an incompatible architecture (have 'x86_64', need 'arm64e')), '.../Assets/Adobe/Substance3DForUnity/Runtime/Plugins/libsbsario.dylib' (mach-o file, but is an incompatible architecture (have 'x86_64', need 'arm64e')) Is there no ARM support yet? If not, what's the ETA for that? M1 has been out for quite a while now. I noticed that there's a folder Arm64 with the libsbsario.so file but no dylib. Can't seem to get it to work
Hi!After installing the Substance plugin in Maya 2018.7/Arnold v4021 in my OSX 10136, I am having this error:// Error: file: /Applications/Autodesk/maya2018/Maya.app/Contents/scripts/others/pluginWin.mel line 290: initializePlugin function failed (substancemaya) // Despite this, once in Hypershade/Create(2D textures/Substance NodeMaya just crashes... Hello, I can’t activate the Integration Tools. I get the following error: [error message]. It appears active for only a few seconds, and then the mentioned error appears. I don’t have access to Discord. Upon reviewing the community, it seems to be a common issue. Windows 11Blender 4.1.1
I am using an sbsar of mine in Blender 4.1.1 using the Substance 3D addon v2.0.0: parameters of the sbsar are displayed in sort of a random order, not following the ordering made in Designer, nor an alphabetical ordering either. This is barely usable in this way, as parameters follow each other with no relevant logic. Any idea? Substance parameters need to be displayed in the same order as defined in Designer, as this ordering has a logic made by the Substance author and should be reflected as-is though the add-on.
I'm currently running Blender 4.1.0, but also tested with Blender 4.0.2. I will download a material from the Creative Cloud asset library, and then load it into Blender via the Substance add-on. When the material renders, say a red/orange soil color, it is displayed as almost a blue shade. The only thing that seems to correct this right now is by setting the hue value from 0 to 0.5, however that's still not the same color as what I'm seeing in the asset library, nor in the colors shown in the Substance add-on. Has anyone else seen this? I've noticed it for multiple materials where I was expecting reds and oranges, but instead I'm seeing blues. Myabe it's a setting I messed up recently? I've been trying to see if I could find a curves value or something that I could just resent to default and clean it up, but so far, I've not been able to find anything. Plugin version is 2.0.0OS: Windows 11 Plugin Rendering Engine: OpenGLNormals: OpenGL I've attempted redownloading the ori

I’ve imported a substance .sbsar file into unreal 5.3 and when i go to the exposed parameters with in the instance and change them i get and unreal crash, any one know what this crash report means:LoginId:30f8ecad4a66ec15d4fdf4b897329d2fEpicAccountId:99454ee9b48e4c58b223b48f5c9e2373Assertion failed: (InCount >= 0) && ((sizeof(InCount) < sizeof(SizeType)) || (InCount <= static_cast<decltype(InCount)>(TNumericLimits::Max()))) [File:D:\RocketSync\5.3.0-27405482+++UE5+Release-5.3\Working\Engine\Source\Runtime\Core\Public\Containers\ArrayView.h] [Line: 215]UnrealEditor_SubstanceEditor!SListView<TSharedPtr<FString,1> >::ScrollIntoView() [D:\RocketSync\5.3.0-27405482+++UE5+Release-5.3\Working\Engine\Source\Runtime\Slate\Public\Widgets\Views\SListView.h:2095]UnrealEditor_SlateUnrealEditor_SlateCoreUnrealEditor_SlateUnrealEditor_SlateCoreUnrealEditor_SlateCoreUnrealEditor_SlateUnrealEditor_SlateCoreUnrealEditor_SlateCoreUnrealEditor_SlateCoreUnrealEditor_Slate
I have a project using substance materials that can not boot when I enable the substance plugin. When its loading as soon as it gets to compile the substane materials it quits, I have gone through deleteing all the materials that might crash it, but its seem they all do. If I boot a clean project or a project without substance materials in it then no issues. If I boot another project with substance materials it also crashes.Need help, cant work! Thanks in advance
