Hi, I have noticed that some (all?) Lightroom CC Guided Tutorials involving the Geometry -> Upright Tool seem to get stuck. To reproduce: - pick a guided tutorial such as "Fixing the Geometry of an Architectural Subject" - "Continue" until you get the "Select the Upright Tool" prompt which points at the tool - Click on the tool - It functions (i.e. you can place the lines, etc.) but the Tutorial will not advance beyond this point and has to be manually clicked through with the "skip" arrows at the top Not that big of a problem (once I'd worked out what I needed to do without the prompts and when to use the skip arrows) but, given how seemlessly everything else in these guided tutorials was working, it did catch me out!
So I'm having a bit of a dilemma. I'm trying to work through the tutorials in the latest Lightroom (6.0) and every single time it wants me to adjust the intensity of a profile I applied to an image, it asks me to use a slider, and all it gives me is the outline of a circle bouncing back and forth, but I can't tell what it wants me to do because I just sit there sliding it back and forth and the tutorial isn't advancing since I can't see the slider itself. I'm running this version of lightroom on a 13" 2022 MBP with the M2 and touchbar.
so on a lot of my earlier photos im getting a legacy settings button appear then dissappear before i can do anything then the photo reverts to a completly unedited state and this cant be changed unless i re-edit it. currently using LR versdion 6.1 on MAC OS while images may have been editied on Ipad or Iphone OS
Olá, tenho plano "Lightroom CC com 1TB" com 523GB de fotos (e poucos vídeos), num total de quase 46 mil fotos. No MacOS (Ventura 13.2.1), Lightroom 6.2, recém instalado - comprei o Mac nesta semana - ao clicar a opção 'Armazenar uma cópia de todas as visualizações inteligentes localmente em "Macintosh HD" recebo aviso que não há espaço suficiente, porque as smart previews dos meus 523GB de fotos estariam tomando 480GB (!!!) e eu só tenho 441GB livres. É certamente um bug, não há como meus RAWs originais enormes terem quase mesmo tamanho de visualizações ditas inteligentes. Já tentei desinstalar o Lightroom e reinstalar (ambos os procedimentos via app Creative Cloud) sem sucesso. Sugestões?! Obrigado!
Lightroom v6.0 Translation ErrorMasking -> Subject Masking -> Preset -> Enhance Eyes These are incorrectly translated into Korean. Subject is not a "제목(Title)" it should be translated into "피사체(subject for photography)""눈 확장(Eye Enlargement)" for "Enhance Eyes" is a wrong translation."눈 향상" might be a better translation for this word. Windows 11, 3840*2160, Text Size 150% only shows first letter of the name of masking>preset menuIf I change the text size from 150% to 100%, it is temporarily solved. By the way, could you change the Korean font for submenu from "굴림체" to other font?I think 맑은고딕, a default Korean font of Windows, is a basic font of Adobe apps for Windows but 굴림체, the worst Korean font ever, is used in submenu of Lightroom.
I just tried til help a friend with installing Lightroom on Mac OS Ventura. Creative Cloud was installed, and I used the button Install on Lightroom in the Creative Cloud app. The installation was performed, and reported Completed. Lightroom button changed to Open.Clicked on Open, but nothing happened.Wide search in Finder for the Lightroom app file, but it was not found on the entire disk.Edit: As Lightroom is tested compatible with Ventura, this is probably related to the installer app or lack of priveleges. See my comment below.
Lightroom version: 6.1 MacOS Version: 12.6 French Azerty Keyboard. When in Detail view, Pressing Z activate 'White balance selector". Pressing Z should Select the image. As in qwerty keyboards Z and W are interverted, I tried to press W. It activates "White balance selector" (which is the awaited result). This bug existed in 4.1 version and have been corrected and well fonctioning. Until this version.
Camera doesn't take photos when using ultra wide lens in professional mode. The screen just "flashes" like it took a photo but it doesn't save it. It only affects ultra wide lens (in all modes except hdr mode). App version is 7.5.2 on iphone 12 pro with ios 16.0
On my Mac and my Android phone, lots of my photos in Lightroom CC revert to displaying the original version when I open them up. The thumbnail versions (when I'm looking at a bunch of photos on the screen at the same time) are correct, showing the edited photos. But when I look at an individual photo, the edited version is replaced by the pre-edited original. This does not happen when I'm using Lightroom for the web, but it happens (for the same photos) on both LR for Mac and LR for Android. (Interestingly, if I export the photo, the software correctly exports the edited version even though it has been showing the pre-edited original on the screen.) Help, please!
Hi,I recently purchased the iPad Pro 12.9 inch tablet specifically so I can edit my photos.I am using light room for iPad 8.0.After editing for short while, the upper panel disappears and the filter button is not visible (along with all the upper panel). I cannot seem to get the panel back.When I exit the program and start it again the panel has reappeared. I am not sure what I am doing to make it disappear.Does anyone else have this problem? Any solutions?

Hi - installed the latest version of the Lightroom Mobile app on my iPhone 11 the other day and UW support is now gone in all photo modes - including Auto and Pro. Can this functionality be returned to the camera app please?
The Local Storage settings window shows I have 1.8 TB of Local Stored Photos on my 512GB M1 MacBook Air. See Screenshot below. The size of the Library on Adobe Cloud is 696GB with 81050 photos and videos. The size of the local library file on the machine is 149GB, which is about right for Smart Previews, and consistent with the sizes of the proxies inside the library. The screenshot shows "free space" as 36.33GB, but the Finder free space on the machine is 131GB. This whole situation is occurring on two identical macs. On both macs I have deleted the local library completely and downloaded fresh copies from the Adobe Cloud with the same result. Everything seems to be working perfectly so is this just a bug in the Local Storage setttings display? Advice welcome please!
I can't back to library view when I'm in album view because there's no back button on the left of the tool bar, but I found a screenshot in support page that there should have a back button there. Then I set the Lightroom app to split view with minimum width, just like a phone app, the button appears. So is this a bug of the lightroom app or a bug of iOS? How to fix it? It highly impact my work. Expected behaviour: Given a lightroom album with images When I select “Sort by Custom > Custom > Edit” And reorder my images And reopen the App Then the images are shown in the Custom order (same behaviour expected for the general case, the latest chosen sort option) Current behaviour: Images are shown in the default order by capture date for all albums after reopening the App. Problem I see with it: Earlier custom sort was persistent, images were shown according to the latest chosen sort option. Now, I need to reset the desired sort option for all albums every time I open the App which is inconvenient recurring work.
Hi, Is there a reason why my mobile pictures are exported with the geotag while video aren't? It's kinda frustrating, I don't want to lose gps data for a color grading..
Hi, the translation of "vibrancex patameter in Lightroom mobile to Ukrainian is not correct (in a context of this app) and informative . It was translated as коливання. Should be something like соковитість.
Hello! My LR Android Mobile App Version 8.1.0 has been crashing since early yesterday (12-17-22) afternoon. I have done everything on my end to try and fix this issue. I've signed out and signed back in, uninstalled and reinstalled, clear cache, restarted my phone, etc. Nothing seems to work. It is not sinking my photos to my computer. Each time I try and open the App it opens for three seconds before it crashes and kicks me out. Any other suggestions on how to fix this issue? I pay monthly to use this App and how I edit pictures for my clients. This is already effecting how soon I return my pictures to my clients. I don't want to pay for a service that doesn't allow me to use it. Thanks for any help!
Since one of the recents releases, a very serious bug is happening. I synchroninze two Lightroom Desktop CC and two Lightoom Mobile instances and I alaways have been confronted with synchronization problems, and give or take, scratching the install on one of my macs eventually resolved the problem (at the expenses of countless hours spent on this). Now, I much more worrysome problem occurs (very frequently) : when I try to edit a photo on my main Mac, LR CC tells me that editing parameters are missing and that I should open the app on the mac where the edits where made... which is precisely that Mac, which makes the alert totally meaningless. Therefore, as far as I can tell, all my edits are lost (and I have an exhibition next week). Please help, this is very very bad. FYI, I also every month open Lightroom Classic and let synchronization terminate in order to have a backup (you know, as for cases like this). I've seen the "Known Issues" page and tried the solu
had about 13pics I was adjusting, and after 11 it froze and wouldn't paste to the rest. Also I had tried to do the same thing earlier with a larger amount and had problems as well, it got to about 80done and froze. Love the update otherwise though!
Lr mobile: On my android phone and android tablet (kindle fire) when in landscape orientation - "Light" and "Curve" - the Blue curve is not visible. In portrait mode - the Blue curve is visible and selectable.
Buenas mi problema es que no puedo usar lightroom mobile en mi pc, tengo un aviso de que debo realizar la suscripcion, cosa que tengo. Al darle a renovar se me pone el aviso en verde de todo perfecto, pulso ok y vuelta a empezar no se me desbloquea para poder usarlo.
Vignette cannot be applied AFTER "Modern 3" profile is applied in Lightroom Mobile on Android. If vignette is applied beforehand it works fine but it cannot be changed after. I tried many other profiles, "Modern" and others, and didn't run into this. They worked fine. I use this one often and has been going on for awhile. I usually end up putting a radial filter on to bypass this issue.My current device, an LG G7 w/ Android 9. Also happened before upgrade when it still was Android 8. This also happens on my LG G Tab X 8.0 (LG-V521) tablet w/ Android 7.0.I have not tried this on a PC version of Lightroom CC or Lightroom Classic to see if the results were the same.
My images start off as PNG's with no background and once edited and exported out of Lightroom, they have white backgrounds added. Save transparency is selected and in the past, never had this issue. This is a bug
I have been using Lightroom since 2007. I have used the web-based version on both the Mac and PC when they were released and stopped using LR Classic a long time ago. My work flow includes photo uploads using PC, Mac and iPad and all full resolution images are kept in Adobe Cloud. Despite all the irritations one has come to expect from Adobe, the Desk Top version has served me well and I have produced 11 photo books on the Blurb platform. Two weeks ago I was working on my 12th book and Lightroom started to play up. Most photos I uploaded after 2018 seemed to have lost all the smart previews. I have included a screen shot from my M1 mac mini. 1. LR proclaims all photos are synced and backed up. In the bottom right hand corner of the screen shot it says "pending". I could not access thousands of photos and produced the same error message. 2. I could however access and edit all the same photos on the iPad or on the web version of LR. 3.
