Why does this problem occur when I take mesh results from the sampler to the blender and use the wire frame function?It is divided into three lines.
Creating a normal folder may not be a problem! "However, after I accidentally created a huge local folder (perhaps as high as 200G), the software crashed as soon as I entered it, and I was unable to perform any other operations. Perhaps this was my mistake. I had to uninstall the software and reinstall it. I hope the staff can test this error. Thank you."
-Windows 11-3D Sampler 4.0.2 Hi There seems to be a problem when exporting AORM (Ambient occlusion, roughness, metallic all in one texture) textures map using the unreal engine 4 preset in png format. Today, I saw that simplified Chinese is supported, so I bought it. But when I opened the trial, the filter was all in English, and it was not translated into Chinese. It seems to be the same in the past version?! Only a small amount of English has been translated, and most of them are still English. I don't know if I will further improve English translation! This is laziness!
Hello,I'm new to Sampler.I've tried 3 times import about 1100 photos (ARW) to create a 3D objects but each times, after 5-10mn, Sampler takes me back at Import screen with nothing inside the window.It's so frustrating. Is there a limitation ?Thank you for help
The artifact are best described as a faint impression of a gabled roof top.I'm converting older generic textures into PBRWork flow to see the issue.Add a diffuse repeatable concrete wall texture. Some roughness but no pattern.Use the AI Image to MaterialNotice a little seam on the edges of the textures.Turned on Preserve TillingTweaked the roughness settings someExport as tgaSee the artifact.
I have the latest version on sampler and i'm trying to use the new photogrametry feature. I can upload images but as soon as I click to prcess the images sampler Crashes. Does anyone else have this problem? Is there a fix? I'm on mac with an i7 processor and 40GB of ram with the radeon pro 580 grahics card.
When I move Sbstance Sampler window to my LG external display, the mesh center moves to the corner and I can't center the item and orbit the object properly. The camera insists rotating around some point off center. There is no problem when working on my Macbook Retina screen.
I reported a major bug on Thursday, Feb. 2. The issue is that Sampler suddenly will not open a Sampler project file that is critical to my work. I reported the bug via Sampler's Report Bug feature. A day later, I received a response from Baptiste saying the following: "Can you try to delete the following folder /AppData/Adobe/Adobe Substance 3D Sampler and open your project again? Otherwise, can you send the project file ?" I replied immediately on Friday morning with the following two questions: 1) Baptiste, for the delete, are you referring to the "Adobe Substance 3D Sampler" subfolder in the "Local" ( C:/Users/Me/AppData/Local ) or "Roaming" ( C:/Users/Me/AppData/Roaming ) folder? 2) I'll try deleting the referenced file and see what happens. If I need to send you the file that is not opening, how would you like for me to send it? I can use Dropsend, which sends you a download link via email. Will this work for you? It is now Mond
Hello, while trying to make tiling textures for a videogame, I've encountered this issue: Image to material leaves serious gradients on not only the four sides of an image, but also in the middle. Obviously, I've activated the Preserve Tiling Button. While it is not technically a seam, the heightmap looks bad when applied on an object, because of the deep crease created by the software. Interestingly, this only happened in the deep/dark areas. The raised areas are basically perfect.Different settings in small/med/large details did not fix this. Logically, the central gray zone should have no large gradients. We can even see 45 degree pale lines, as if this was some kind of bake on a sphere. There seems to be no options to control the Preserve Tiling. So I don't have other levers to change the behavior. 1. v 3.412. PC, Windows 103. has anyone else noticed this - it took me hours to solve - I moved the export panel to my second monitor as it just gets in the way when it's open. I then finished my session, closed sampler and when I came to open it the next day it just hung on the splash screen.I did the delete registry nonesense, with no result, then, knowing that none of these seubstance applications can cope with multiple monmitors,( I use three) I methodically tried to reopen sampler with one monitor disabled, then two diabled then varried the comnbinations of which monitors were diabled or enabled, and which monitor was the primary until I found a combinatrion thet allowed sampler to open . When it did open, the export panel was still sitting on the second monitor.So I can reproduce this as every time I close sampler with a panel on a second monitor, it will not restart, but if I set the 'reset layout' menu comand before closing it, sampler will reopen notrmally.Sort of mediocre programing that the applic
I am new to Substance Sampler, but when I Exported to Substance Painter it did not do it correctly as shown in the image.And I am using the latest version. Does anyone know how to solve this?
After starting Sampler, everything is fine, as soon as I click create a new document, the application runs for a couple of seconds and stops responding indefinitely. Reinstalling does not help, Substance painter and designer work fine, the programs are purchased in steam. What should I do about it?
Hello there, I created a custom repeat pattern in PS and followed this YT tutorial to create my own custom print in SA:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H9ep1yIwzAY&t=3sWhen I was happy with the print, I selected the share button and then sent my pattern to substance painter to texture my mesh with it but for some reason when my pattern shows up in substance the only thing that shows up is the base fabric and not the print that I designed ontop.Am I possibly doing something wrong? I'm very new to Substance so any tips you have are much appreaicted. This tutorial doesn't do a great job of explianing how to get the texture I see in SA into PT.Also, how do I make it so that my custom material's base color can be changed to any color?
Hello there! There is a small issue when tiling a material inside the 3D Viewport of Sampler. When setting the tiling higher, the normal intensity increases aswell. Here you have a picture comparing the same texture area with a different tiling setting. This becomes a problem when trying to checkout the material for tiling issues, the material becomes very noisy and not representative of the information of the texture. I was creating a wood planks texture using image to material (AI powered). After getting the result I was looking for, I exported textures in order to use them in other apps and noticed that exported color texture is completely different from the one that I have in Substance Sampler. All the other textures (AO, roughness, height, etc.) are correct. At first I had some turned off layers in Sampler but even after deleting them completely and re-exporting the texture it was still not the same as in Sampler. What can be the problem? I've attached some screenshots to show what I mean by 'different' and also layers that I used in Sampler.P.S. Layer Height_slope_blur is a simple custom filter made in Designer and only affects the height map.
At first it crashed immediately after I saved my project. After that if I tried to load it it would crash after the program opened. I figured the file had bugged out so I deleted it and started fresh. Same issue. I opened a blank file and tried to save it with no changes, as soon as I clicked Save As it crashed.I looked on the forum for help and some had luck deleting their folder and others deleting the 'Your Assets' folder. Did both those steps, launched the program, I saw the sphere load up > froze > crashed.I restarted my PC and didn't open anything else other than Substance Sampler but no changes. I'm out of ideas and have been pulling my hair out for about an hour now so any help would be greatly appreciated. I've attached my log below.
Atlas scatter is not working. I drag and drop leaves intot the material slot and nothing happens. Tried on a brand new material with nothing in it and wasn't working either.
After changing to 4k monitor substance Sampler is loading indefinetly showing only splash screen. Old Build Alchemist works. Kind of weird as monitor was the only change made.
I am using the floor tiles generator in 3D Sampler (Alchemist). The material I have chosen (an .sbar) is not tiling properly. It tiles fine in Substance. Is there a setting to correct this? This is unuseable to me in this state.
Dear sub3d community, I am using a Lenovo IdeaPad Flex 5 with 16 GB ram and intel irisxe graphics. The sampler opens quickly without any trouble. loads the materials too. But it gets hang in the middle of something and goes complete blank. a white screen appears. I lost my works twice. can anyone help me with how to enable autosave or how to solve this issue? I can't attach log files as that option doesn't even appear.
