Bug Reports

I'm trying to do something very simple - double or triple the size of a graphic in PNG format for publication. The first time I tried it everything worked fine. I could select the resampling method I wanted for enlarging. I had 6 more figures to do and Photoshop would only allow automatic resampling for 5 of the remaining images. When I got to the last figure which takes up a whole page it allowed me to select "Preserve details".  All 7 original figures were made the same way but PS is not treating them the same. The two it worked on were larger. It should be using all of them. If it wasn't for Gigapixel I would be in a jam now. But I need to know what is PS having a problem with. BTW I use the latest Windows version of PS.

Since downloading the new v26 of Photoshop I am unable to now open up the DNG image from RAW.On trying to open the image for editing the error comes up as "unable to read the full size image" "there was an error parsing the file". This does not happen with the images in RAW before converting to DNG but I need to look over the images to decide what to keep. Is there a simple solution I am missing here?I am running Windows 10.

I have a problem. Adobe Camera Raw does not open RAW, NEF, DNG files (Nikon, DJI Mavic 3 and others). "Cannot open: 123.NEF because a program error occurred". Latest Photoshop 26.00, latest Adobe Camera Raw 17.00. Windows 11. New computer. After disabling the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 graphics card, the problem persists. After installing Adobe Camera Raw 14.5, it is ok, the files open. But I want to use ACR 17. Hello friends, I have been experiencing significant issues with multiple Adobe applications on my computer, which started about a week ago. Initially, I encountered a problem with the Camera Raw Filter in Photoshop, where I received an error stating, "GPU acceleration is required." Despite my best efforts and research, I have not been able to resolve this issue. Following that, I tried using Lightroom, but I encountered a similar problem: after importing images, they did not display on the screen. This was frustrating, so I attempted to switch to Adobe Premiere Pro, only to find that videos I imported were also not visible on the editing screen. To address these issues, I made sure all drivers were up-to-date and even went as far as reinstalling Windows. Unfortunately, the problems persisted. Thinking the issue might be hardware-related, I tested the same software on my sister's computer, which is the same make and model as mine. However, the same issues occurred on her computer as wel

Hey, I'm new to Photoshop. I'm on version 26.0.0 on an M2 Macbook Pro Sequoia 15.0.1 OS. Everything runs pretty smooth, but the Type Tool has become a real pain. Searching through the fonts, especially when using the 'More From' section, is incredibly laggy. It's laggy to the point where I cannot use it without it being incredibly frustrating. When I type, there's a noticable delay between me pressing the key and the type appearing on the canvas. Is there any way that this can be fixed?

Boa tarde pessoal, tudo bem?

Camera Raw (17.0.0.2043) Error : "The operation could not be completed" when selecting objects in the masks pannel, either with brush or rectagular select.I have just upgraded Photoshop from 2023 to 2025 version and I didn't have this problem in the previous version. I used to select objects with the rectangle select without any problems. Why is this happening now with this version?Windows 10Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-4460 CPU @ 3.20GHz 3.20 GHz32,0 GB RAMAny help will be much appretiated.Thank you,Carlos

I’m having trouble with Adobe Camera Raw as it won’t open, and it says that Camera Raw needs GPU acceleration enabled to edit photos. However, when I try to configure Camera Raw settings in Photoshop, it shows the following message:"Use Graphics Processor: Off. Your system does not support Camera Raw graphics acceleration."Here are the details of my setup:Mac Studio with M2 Ultra processormacOS and Adobe Photoshop are both updated to the latest versions.Despite having a capable system, I cannot enable GPU acceleration for Camera Raw. I’ve double-checked that my Mac's system software is up to date, and Adobe Photoshop and Camera Raw are on their latest updates.I would appreciate any guidance or troubleshooting steps to resolve this issue, as I need to use Camera Raw for my photo editing.Thank you for your help!Best regards,Kevin

I usually use the eyedropper tool to mix and mash colours, especially during rendering of some artworks, but for the last 2-3 days the picking a colour with the eyedropper tool only changes the last colour shown on top of the swatches tab, the remaining ones not changing upon picking another colour. It seriously hampers my work since i have to pick colours from shaded parts of the screen, meaning i cant use the base colours i used for the shading in the first place. Any ideas if this is a bug or a problem on my end?  working in a m2 macbook pro\ 16 \512 gbs

Estou tendo problemas no Photoshop, nas ferramentas, quase tudo está dando erros

I'm having problem with Tools, that not keeping in their last selected state and it is annoying. When I select Magic Wand tool, then I select different tool, close image, open new image, press W, Magic Wand tool is not selected anymore, instead Quick Selection tool is active and I have to change it back to Magic Wand again and again.Same for example with Laso tool and Polygonal Laso tool (L) How do I make tools keeping their last used state?

When adding an adjustment layer, there will be a lag or delay and it could take up to 30 seconds or a minute to add the adjustment. I can continue to work while photoshop, I assume, is working on adding the adjustment layer. Sometimes it is instantateous, as it should be, but I would say the lag happens 50% of the time. On occasion, a 'working' bar comes up with some verbiage indicating that it is working on rendering the adjustment layer (I don't have the exact wording).  This occurs with both 16 bit and 8 bit images. If i save and close the image and open it back up, sometimes that snaps it out of the lag for a bit but it does come back. Has this happened to anyone else and if so has anyone found a fix?  Thanks!

Preciso de ajuda, assinei a Adobe, porém não estou conseguindo instalar nenhum programa na minha máquina. Faço dowload dos softwares, mas ao clicar a instalação não inicia.  Por favor, me ajude.

When I strat up PS, the whole workspace is just misaligned, nothing is displayed in the workspace and I cant do anything except clicking the top menu (just like the screeenshot image). If I try to open a file or reset the workspace PS will freeze, then crash. I didn't install any plugin or brushes, I tried reinstall but the problem still exist, this problem appered lately while I didn't change any setting or update my PS version, so I believe there's something wrong with my computer but not the PS itself.

I am running ACR 17.0, Bridge 14.1.3, Photoshop 25.12 on an iMac 2020 Intel i7, AMD Radeon Pro 5700 XT 16 gig gpu, 96 gigs of Ram on Sonoma 14.7.1. Updating the IOS is not an option as Sequoia does not play well with the Intel chips, I tried that and had to roll back to Sonoma. When I try to use ACR AI Denoise it leaves these blocks pictured below, I have tried both with the GPU turned on and off, it is actually worse with GPU off.

OS : Window10Phtoshop Version : 24.0 ~ 24.1.1 (I sometimes had this problem in Photoshop 2022. The exact version is not certain.) I usually use Pentool path to get the selection needed for image adjustment. This is because it is more convenient to use a layer mask than a Vetor Mask. Of course, the flexible operation of the Pentool is one of the reasons for using it.Therefore, the action that I take while using the pen tool is very simple. 1. Extract Subject or Something use Pen tool2. Run Action (Which is Covert Path to Selection in Photoshop function)3. That's allI didn't mix any functions, I just use the functions inside Photoshop. Therefore, my Shape Mode should not be changed. However, when you use Pentool + Action and check the selection area, it is sometimes Invert. Then, when such a bug occurs, I went into my Pentool and checked the Shape Mode, and it was confirmed that it was changed from Combine to Subtract. The stage of reproduction of this is unknown. But I think I use t

I recently installed Photoshop Editor 2024. When I double-click on an image or do an “Open with Photoshop Editor 2024,” it takes me to Photoshop Editor but the photo doesn't open. I can only get the photo to open if I open it from Photoshop Editor through File => Open.

I need a plus sign in front of the text but when I add space between + and rest of the text it makes it into a bullet. There is no option to just turn it into normal text. When I disable Bullets and Numbering it deletes the + sign. Is there any workaround on this issue? I am on MacBook Pro M1, macOS Sequoia v 15.0.1, Photoshop 2025 26.0.0

With the newest PS update (26.0), the remove tool is leaving behind a colored smudge, either red or blue tinged.  I tried going to PS settings-->image processing and checking the "more stable" drop down under remove tool, restarting PS X3, and restarting my computer.  None of these tips have helped.  I am running Mac OS Sonoma 14.6.1.  I saw previous posts from last year, but that appeared to have been fixed and I have not seen any posts since the newest update.  Is this a known bug?  Any way to fix this?  I use the remove tool quite a bit, so itll change my workflow if I have to abandon it temporarily.  Thanks for any help!
