I had this audio and imported for a week and have been working on the project all fine and now the waveform in one of the audio tracks has vanished. I have no idea why?I can still hear the audio and have tried rendering the audio already.Any help is highly appreciated. Thanks very much.

I've been working on Premiere for over a decade, and this is one of the strangest things I've experienced... I spent all Monday morning working on a project. Saved it throughout the editing session, etc. Opened up Premiere today and none of the work had actually saved - the project was where I had left off Sunday night.  The most frustrating (and confusing) part is that my Premiere project is acknowledging the last change made was Monday at 12:00p (exactly when I stopped working). All of the autosaves also acknowledge that I worked all morning, but none of them reflect the actual work that was done.  I'm mentally preparing myself to have lost 5 hours of work, but any ideas? Hey everyone,My source and playback monitors in Premiere Pro keep freezing and turning black every 1 to 4 minutes. When this happens, I can still move the cursor through the timeline, cut and move clips, and save the project, but the playback stops working. If I restart Premiere Pro, it works again, but only for a few seconds or minutes before freezing again. I first encountered this issue in PP version 24.6.1, but I've also tried rolling back to previous versions, and the problem persists. I'm using a MacBook Pro M3 Max with 48 GB RAM, running Sonoma 14.6.1. I'm working with MXF broadcast files. チップはM1Max メモリ64GBのMacBookPro（16インチ、2021）を使用しています。OSはMac OS Sonoma Ver.14.5です。 Sonomaに関する既知のバグと対処法は把握しております。今回は、エンコードについて相談と報告をしたく思います。 60iのmxfファイルを書き出し、XDcamにダビング・再生すると画面にカクツキが生じます。正確には、インターレースの書き出しが正常に行われておらず、捜査線の半分がうまく表示されていないという印象の映像となります。色の情報量が少なく画質が悪く見え、動きがカクついてしまうという状態となります。 メディアエンコーダーを使用して「ソフトウェアレンダリング」を選択してエンコードすれば正常に書き出しすることはできました。ですので、おそらく　MacOS sonomaか、Appleシリコンが１番の原因かとは思いますが、ご報告をさせていただきたいと思います。 今後ともよろしくお願いいたします。

Okay so with the latest Update i am unable to create cqaptions with the text pannnels it is not shpowing up in the workspace even after trying to open it Multiple Times

Premiere pro is buggy and will not close properly if i am not on my works internet. Media encoder has the same issue but not affecting other cc apps. Any ideas? I have used PP for many years in other corporate settings and never had this issue.

I may have completely missed something here but I'm struggling with media start time.I've never paid it much attention before but I'm currently working on a project where it would be very beneficial for me to be able to put a lot of footage from multiple sources in the order they were shot. I've noticed though that my cameras are showing wildly different "media start" times in the bins. Each camera's footage is in the correct sequential order. But a clip that was shot at around 9.30am (windows properties tab says media creation time is 9.33am) is being given a "media start" time of 15.09pm.Having never paid much heed to timecodes before have i fundamentally missed something or is something messed up?using ver 24.5 and files ar all h.264 mpgs from Sony Alpha cameras 

Basically if you use the slip tool to change a clip timecode in beta or in normal PPro, it will start to lag when the playhead enters the clip that you have "slipped" if you bring it back normal, it will not lag. I work on a Mac M2 Ultra It has this bug with every project i made. The Clip Resolution i'm using (then i will crop both track to make a single 4k Track with nesting)Recording Format i'm using. From what i remeber even with normal h265 (not hybrid) had the same problems. Please Fix, i'm using the Slip tool a lot!

I've attempted to export a 7-hr long video 7 times in the last 9 days, EVERY SINGLE ONE HAS FROZEN around the 2hrs remaining mark. Encoding just stops and the spinning wheel reveals whenever I drag the cursor to the Media Encoder window.  ((FYI -I've exported 20hr long videos using the exact same settings this year without ANY issues)).  TImeline is ALL footage from my Sony a7s3 cameras. NO third party plugins used anywhere in the timeline. NO effects used, aside from the "cross dissolve" video transition.  Timeline preview plays without issue and scrubbing through the timeline does not freeze at all.  I've tried exporting using Media Encoder -Failed.  I've tried exporting directly from PP -failed. I've tried exporting using different export settings via a "built in" preset -failed. I"ve tried exporting in 2hr segments -failed.   My machine: m1 max64GB4TB HDD Export Settings: HEVC (h.265)4KHi

Insta 360 x4 footage randmly panning and tilting on timeline. Won't allow me to fully complete a sequence edit.  Any suggestion?

When I set hot keys to reveal in project/finder it yet again doesn't work. Such a shame that this is an issue again as it was fixed for a bit of time there. I use this hot key soooo often, it's incredibly frustrating. Honestly hard not to vent when you pay through the roof for these programs and theres just constant bugs in them.  My specs are: M1 32gb RAM Mac OS 14.5

This seems like a new issue.  Got a 6 minute edit made up of various cameras, adj layers, music, SFX, GFX titles, etc. All was fine. Suddenly, hit export - NOTHING HAPPENS. I render the timeline in small sections to see what the problem is; today, the problem is a title. It won't even load the title, just freezes. The other day the problem was a particular shot from an Insta 360 camera. I've cleared caches, rebooted, etc, all plug-ins that should be installed are installed. Never had problems until last week and today. Anyone have this issue and know of a fix aside from throwing the mac out the window?

I've been getting vertical lines and dark frames working with MOV files in Premiere Pro and After Effects, pictured below. I'm not using any effects. After exporting, It still shows frames where the exposure is lower too. Any idea what I can do?  

Yesterday my computer had an update, in my project I have been placing in video footage of myself when I need it, no problems. But today when I inserted the latest clip after the update the audio on me is now out of sync. I checked all the other clips that I haven't inserted yet and they are also out of sync. The clips still in the project before the update though are fine. I even tried starting a new project to see if the clips are still out of sync and they are, but the clips I used in the project before the update are also fine in a new project. I don't understand why it's like this, when I play the clips on the media player on my computer they are in sync and fine. It's just when they are in premier. Any sugestions on how to fix this please?

I am trying to export a sequence out of Premiere 24.6.1 with the start timecode set to 2:00:00:00. The export's starting timecode is 2:00:07:06 when I check the export. If I try using the "Set Start Timecode" feature set to 2:00:00:00 under Metadata it exports as 00:00:00:00. I am exporting as ProRes 422 Quicktime but I tried other codecs and nothing works. Is this a bug? I've never had this issue in the past. Thanks.

When exporting from Premiere or AME, and using custom captions, we consistently get no burn in on the video.  VERY frustrating as these go live in minutes.  This bug took months to finally nail down and reproduce consistently, but here it is: When we export ANY file BEFORE the captioned file, the render will fail to burn in.  IF we encode nothing but captioned videos, it works fine.  Introduce ANY new file with no captions, the NEXT try with captions will fail.  This is consistent so far.   When it fails, we can see the AME preview is accurate and does not show captions either. We reuse a daily news template (mogrt) that we created to drop in our news stories (1-8 minutes) of video and transcribe to custom captions.  As Adobe captions are unusable out of the box, I don't know if it happens with stock settings.  WORKAROUND: If we close and reopen AME, exports will work fine as long as you export captions first.  Reope

Hello, I've been experiencing this issue since updating Premiere Pro to the 2024 version.Before I updated, I used to track obejcts or whatever using the arrow keys to adjust the position of the image one by one. I found it quite efficient and not time consuming. But for some reason, since I updated, I can't skip a frame when using the arrow keys. I basically have to press the video clip or the image inside the timeline to be able to press those arrow keys to skip one frame and have to go back and forth between the timeline and the sequence/video and it's really time consuming. If I don't click on the timeline and press the arrow keys, it adjusts the position of the selected clip, which isn't what I want. I also checked my keyboard shortcuts and my left and right arrow keys are only linked to "skip one frame" or "go back one frame" or whatever it's called in english (I use the french version btw, so I don't know all the vocabulary).Is this a Premiere Pro 2024 issue ? Or c

The timeline delay severely disrupts the working process and significantly extends the editing time.

Is Adobe aware of how bad the mask tracking is in Premiere Pro?!I had previously let an agent from Adobe access my MacBook Pro to see how bad the tracking in Premiere is compared to davinci resolve on the same footage & the same computer! even when I dropped the quality to 1080p in Premiere Pro it was still unusable while Resolve sliced through the same footage in 4k like butter!fun fact I have a pretty beefy MacBook Pro M1 Pro, so computer power is no execuse for Adobe. 

Cuando trabajo antes de procesar o renderizar (con el timeline marcando color rojo/amarillo en los cortes) todo trabaja super fluido, pero al procesar (que los cortes marquen color verde) todo comienza a hacer playback lentísimo y trabado, esto me pasa editando en 1080, no le veo necesidad de hacer proxies.Cabe mencionar que esto pasó de la nada, premiere me estaba funcionando increíble y de un día para otro comenzó a fallar. Acabo de actualizar mi pc y no debería estar pasando por esto, 32 ram, Ryzen 9 5900x y una GPU NVIDA GTX 1070Ya bajé la resolución a 1/4Ya desinstalé y volví a instalar (con preferencias eliminadas)Ya dejé, prácticamente, toda la ram reservada para premiereYa he cambiado de memoria los proyectosCabe aclarar que esto no me sucede ni PS, ni AE y ni en LR. Todos los demás funcionan corréctamente 

I marked my audio in Essntial Sound as a dialogue. The dialogue mark is to be seen on the audio track. But the transsript option in the text window claims not to find a daialogue. As a consequence it does not offer the command to create a transscript. I have done this several times before. Now it does not work anymore (current version)

Premiere keeps reverting to icon view. It won't stay on list view, even if I quit out and come back in. Premiere version 24.6.1 (build 2). I dont think i've updated my premiere for a few days and it hasnt been a problem until today. I dont understand what made it revert to this. I'm reading similar posts as mine that date back at least 2-3 years and havent seen a solution. I'm on a mac computer (2023)

I've been experiencing ongoing issues with Adobe Premiere Pro. Whenever I try to open any project or start a new project and import clips, the program consistently freezes and crashes. I've tried multiple troubleshooting steps, but nothing seems to resolve the problem: Imported project files into a new project – didn't work.Cleared media cache – didn't work.Reset preferences – didn't work.Restarted my computer – didn't work.Updated my graphics driver – didn't work.Uninstalled and reinstalled Premiere Pro – didn't work. At this point, I'm completely lost and unsure of what to do next.
