Issue - Newest version of Premiere Pro lags and doesn't work smoothly with proxies (as shown in the attached screen recordings). Steps to reproduce - Create proxies, toggle them on, and observe how the timeline performance is slower than it should be. Expected result - It should be way smoother, as shown in the screen recording (attached) of the older Premiere version. Actual result -  Way slower than it should be, timeline performance is bad. Adobe Premiere Pro version - Version 25.2.3 Operating system - Windows 11 GPU driver version (Windows only) - Nvidia Studio Driver 576.02 Video format - XAVC-SH 4k 59.94 fps from Sony FX3 Comparative information helps us understand more about when the issue occurs:  Does it affect all projects or only some projects? Issue: All Masking tools (Object, Ellipse, Rectangle, Pen) are completely non-functional in v26.0. Steps to reproduce: Place a White Solid layer on the top track and a Black layer on the track below. Select the White Solid layer and go to Effect Controls to create a mask (e.g., Rectangular Mask). Attempt to apply or adjust the mask on the Program Monitor. Expected result: The White Solid layer should be masked/cut out to reveal the black layer underneath. Actual result: No masking effect is applied. The white layer remains solid and fully visible across the entire frame, despite the mask being active and listed in the Effect Controls panel. Exporting mp4’s from Premiere (either directly or via Media Encoder) the videos play fine locally.  Uploading them into Hubspot - where we create links to be embedded into (e.g.) social media posts - and the videos no longer play properly via the link.  The audio is fine - there is no video.An example link: https://144293281.fs1.hubspotusercontent-eu1.net/hubfs/144293281/Andrew.mp4I’ve tried the above link on both Chrome and Edge browsers.As I say - the “Andrew.mp4” video plays fine locally.Prior to 26.0, importing videos worked fine.The workaround… if I upload into Adobe Express and then download a new mp4, everything is fine.I have tried this on both Windows (Intel) and Windows (Arm) platforms with the same result.Many thanks, Tim

Hi everyone!I have a weird problem: My export window does not open anymore. All projects are affected.I made sure that the timeline panel is selected while clicking on export. I tried the shortcut, the context menu and just nothing happens. When I click on the tab “Export” the loading animation just goes on forever.I tried to reset all settings and workspaces. Then I uninstalled and installed multiple older versions.Now I am completly out of ideas and any help would be apreciated! My PC specs:Intel Core i7 14700KNVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Ti64 GB DDR5

See the video. Steps to reproduce: add a 1920x1080 imageonto a 1920x1080 project timeline, reduce the scale. At 49% the image jumps and becomes much smaller. Premiere Pro v.25, all the settings reset, caches cleaned. It's on CUDA and OpenCL in 14700K+4080 On Mercury all is OK

Hi I'm running into an issue where Premiere will start running slow and lagging the responsiveness will come and go and the only way to regain control is to restart the computer,. I'm still able to perform tasks , but the response is very slow even tasks outside of premiere.any other programs while Premiere is closed like  After Effects, Illustrator, or even Photoshop will work normally without any hiccup. I recently updated from Windows 10 to 11, Installed additional RAM to get it to 128GBI use Suite studio  within my work flow, but i've also experience the problem working locally. Basically i will be working on an edit as simple as thisand still have the program and computer freezing up. when ever i'm not running Premiere the computer runs fine i've ran some test on it and there were no hang ups from testing the system out.Here is an example of what's happening. https://vimeo.com/1079549757Screenshot Examples: Syetem Setup:Operat

Adobe 2026 crashes when I launch a project that uses 6k BRAW footage.   I downloaded the latest Blackmagic Raw plugin since I updated Adobe Premiere to 2026.  It won’t load my project unless I disable the plugin. I already created proxies of this footage in the 2025 version of Premiere, but now it won’t relink to the BRAW footage and only uses Proxies. Operating system – Apple M2 Max  OS Sequoia 15.7.3

Mac M1 MaxOS - Sequoia 15.2RAM: 64GB Premiere Pro 2025.1 In the team project... multicams are showing as view-only / read-only... No other collaborators are altering the sequence, the tracks are locked. All collaborators have published/updated the project and that does not correct it. The asset is showing as up to date, with none of the collaborators working inside of the asset (typically, you see the collaborators icon next to assets they are working on) This is specific to multicams. When it is read-only, it does not allow you to lay in markers / adjust gain in a sequence where the MC lives / lock tracks in a seq where the multicam lives / set in and out in the multicam that is showing as read only. Occassionally a restart of the project solves it, but inconsistently. Built the ExporterSDK example plugin from Premiere Pro SDK 2026 WIN on Visual Studio 2022 (v17.14.25) with build tools v143.The plugin fails to load on both Adobe After Effect v26.0 and Adobe Media Encoder v26.0.From the logs:Loading C:\Program Files\Adobe\Common\Plug-ins\7.0\MediaCore\SDK\ExporterSDK.prmInvalid registry entry found so the plugin will be loaded from disk.Loading from disk...The library could not be loaded. Hello Adobe Community,I'm experiencing an issue with hardware-accelerated decoding in Adobe Premiere Pro on my NVIDIA RTX 5070 Ti GPU. Specifically, HEVC (H.265) videos in 4:2:2 chroma subsampling, 10-bit depth work perfectly with hardware decoding at 4K resolution, but the same format at 6.2K (5240x2700) falls back to software decoding (CPU). This leads to poor performance during playback and editing.System Specs:GPU: NVIDIA RTX 5070 Ti (latest Studio Driver installed, 581.57)CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 9900XRAM: 64GB DDR5OS: Windows 11 (fully updated)Premiere Pro Version: 25.5Preferences > Media: Hardware-accelerated decoding enabled, set to NVIDIA. Issue Description:For 4K videos (4096x2160 or 3840x2160), hardware decoding works as expected. In the Debug Monitor (Alt+Ctrl+F12 > Importer.MPEG), the "Hardware Decompressed" counter increases while playing, and "SW Frames Decompressed" stays at 0. Même avec le correctif de ce matin (25.6.2 build 1) les fichiers récents enregistrés avec la v25.5 ne s'ouvre plus (message d'erreur). Ce qui est étonnant c'est que j'arrive à ouvrir des fichiers plus anciens voire très anciens (24.x) !!!!

FrameIO v4 updated panel in 25.6.1 is a little better but still doesn't export and shows incorrect frame rates on export profiles which seem to be unchangeable. H264 presets are either stuck at 29.97 (or 30 for Vimeo preset) despite your sequence settings. There's no option to create custom presets that I can see in the extension (custom just shows a list of one you may have created in the past. Mine had a VOB preset which I don't recall ever creating so maybe it's baked in there. ) still having to break out to browser use and not able to use markers in the timeline. FrameIO is truly broken, anyone know any decent alternatives I need to carry on working somehow!

Only after enabling that option does Premiere show the folder selection dialog. After selecting a folder, the user can disable “Save as Separate Asset” again and export normally. This behaviour is confusing and inconsistent with previous versions. Problem The Export button remains greyed out even when inside a Frame.io project. The UI shows no way to select a Frame.io folder unless “Save as Separate Asset” is turned on first. The folder-selection dialog should appear automatically when exporting a new version, but it does not. There is no visible warning that a folder must be selected for versioning workflows. Hello everyone. I am experiencing an extremely odd error in Premiere that I've never encountered before and can't find any exact reference to. Essentially, the Export page is completely broken and nonfunctional. Initially the error presented itself as bening unable to access the export tab at all. I would click it, the button would highlight but nothing else would happen. I woulc becomeunable in interact with the Import/Edit/Export tab at all after that, but could seem to still edit just fine. I was able to solve this issue by selecting my timeline footage first, which then allowed me to click through to the export tab. I've never had to do this before today.However this ended up not being the extent of the issue. Once I actually reach the export tab, there are a brief few seconds where everything works fine, and then the page appears to freeze. I can no longer interact with any of the settings/buttons except for the file name, and pressing export does nothing. What makes thi

Made a ton of new custom presets with test names. When I finished up and decided to change their names everything was fine until I closed PP for the day and started a new session the next day. All my custom effects name reverted back to their old names. No matter how many times I change and save it, the names keep changing back.Im on windows 10, latest version of PP

Premiere Pro 25.6.1 sucks!My Premiere Pro just updated automatically, and it's causing me a lot of problems. It even happened on the day the client made the edit before it was actually used. The client blamed me for my inability to work, even though I didn't know what was going on. That's why I blamed myself.If this continues, I'll be permanently switching to Davinci and canceling my Adobe Cloud subscription, which I've been a customer of since my student days (15 years).And now, I still can't recover the backlog, I can only wait..which makes me very, very disappointed.

Comparison View Slider on left panel is not working inlatest download 25.6.2 on Windows 11 Pro.  You can select Next and Previous buttons to go to the head of each edit, but that's it.  It worked in prior versions.

I am so tired of this HECV codec cannot be installed issue.  (premiere Pro)Hundreds of people have been complainging about it for SEVERAL YEARS now.They cant fix it though.  I know you need another PC for the workaround.  I dont have one.  Should not need one.Considering unsubscribing to adobe completely fix your product already!!and no I am not going to reinstall anything I have spent literal days on this issue time and time again over the years.  It's on their end but they wont find a fix for it

If you use the Text panel's transcript feature for text-based editing, you'll know how annoying this bug is.  If you try to highlight text which spans over a cut in the timeline, the highlight will fail the first time, then work the second time.  The highlight itself does not show up in the text panel the first time, and the in/out points are not placed.  This only happens when the attempted highlight crosses a cut.  See the video below for an example.   Premiere Version 25.5.0 (Build 13)Windows 10 Pro 22H2

When I edit a caption, the font is smaller than the size of the font in the text workspace This happens every time when I double click on the caption. This did not happen on the last version. Flattening a multicam clip leaves a one-frame gap. It has happened randomly in a 30-minute show timeline.    Right click Flatten multicam The master clip has a 1-frame gap at the end of some clips. All other frames are correct so there is no slip happening. An important note on the media: All media, multicam source sequences and edit timeline are at the same frame rate/timebase.  There is no mismatch that could cause this problem. Searching around, this happens to others sporadically. And when trying to finish a show on a tight deadline, it could be a show stopper.

whenever i transcribe my timeline and then cut something out of my timeline, the transcription doesnt follow. I look at it and its all off.  like when i hit play on the timeline, the transcription is showing something totally different then what I'm hearing on the timeline. I swear the transcription used to travel with you when you cut stuff out. Premiere version 25.4.1 (Build 3)
